    When I had my shop open as one of the few shops that worked with Subarus(at that time) I watched turn in concepts when they first opened up and I had the opportunity to work with them a couple times and could only speak positively about them and they were very knowledgeable about their main niche of the industry and that was very rare back in the early days at least in the states it was... I started building Subarus before we even had the WRX here so there was a lot of trying to gain knowledge from overseas at that time...

    Loved this video. The abs info was eye opening for me. I've had those exact problems with our car and now I know there's a fix👍. Also we would love to know what pieces and parts the used in the oiling system.

      Thanks very much Michael, that is great to hear! I believe that TiC is still developing their solution, but I'd suspect that when the have all the date in place, they will put something out.
      Thanks for watching and Stay Tuned!

    What tires are you guys running? The class restrictions get mentioned, but not the tire itself.

      I believe they are limited to 265 width tires and 200 tread wear.
      I'll double check.

    It would have been nice if he would have shown what parts were used on the oiling system.

      I think that is something that they are keeping to themselves for the time being. But I would guess that they will give some more information about their setup at some point.
      It is something that they are still actively developing.
      Thanks for watching and Stay Tuned!

      @@FlatironsTuning Thanks for the reply, it would be interesting to see the combination of parts used from different manufacturers. The inherent oiling issues of the EJ are the main reason I only do a handful of track days a year and if someone has found a winning combo it would be nice to know. Right now I'm relying on the KB pan and pick up with a tomei stiffener/baffle.

      I'd say that you have a good combination there. If at all possible, keep an eye on your oil pressure and log it if you can. Once you have that data, you will be able to tell how your oiling system is working.

      @@mikesti8406 I was really hoping for this also. I was using a KB pan when I spun a bearing. Now I'm looking to see if someones finally figured out a winning wet sump.

    I was hoping you guys would’ve thrown it on the lift so we can see the car’s suspension and aero.

    • @FlatironsTuning
      @FlatironsTuning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We were hoping to as well, unfortunately the car didn't have enough clearance to get the lift arms under it as it sat. We would have had to do a lot of work and some disassembly to make it happen and we just didn't have the time.

      @@FlatironsTuning that’s unfortunate.I appreciate the explanation though ❤️
