Been driving my 2013 SE opera red mistress for 4 years. Wouldn't trade her for all the grolsh in Dresden. We're in for the long haul. Best car I have ever owned!
Hey. I'm considering buying one. Could you please tell me what are the main problems you're dealing with after owning the car? I don't care about interior too much, mainly engine/durability
This just video just made me so excited to go look at a Passat similar to this one tmrw! I wish this guy was the one selling me the car I loved his energy lol
How’s it been holding up now that you’ve had it for more than a year if you still even have it. My mom is looking to buy a 2013 SE with only 52,000 miles on it they’re selling it for only 8000 on Facebook marketplace it’s a private owner. Anything i should look out for?
I still love mine and it's 2023 now thinking of letting it go because I move to arrange though What should I expect for my car with a 125356 For mileage
I have 2013 passat highline, the steering pump leaking every winter when temperature below -20 and replaced pump two times under warranty , and sway bar link only last 4 years.
Looks like it got whacked good in the right rear. Doesn't appear to have blended from passenger rear door to the passenger rear 1/4 panel. This car has a leatherette interior, not leather.
John Doe ive had it since last august, about 60k miles. honestly its been super reliable, super safe, very convenient, huge trunk, lots and lots of leg room. idk for me its perfect
6:20 I can vouch for this. I flipped my beetle the other day and came out with a little scratch on my head. I think I got it from taking my seatbelt off while I was upside down and hit the steering wheel when I fell out the seat lol
I bought a 2013 Passat at Auffenberg Ford in O'Fallon IL! Never again they are crooks! I have had the car in the shop 4 times because check engine light keeps coming on! I had it there May 11th for that and now today it came on again. The first time was 2 days after buying it! I just bought it in July. Then on the 11th I had to buy 4 new tires because they sold me a car with 4 bald tires and 2 were showing metal!
@@justinleboss2849 well after the 6th time the check engine light came on I made a comment on GOOGLE and they didn't like that so this past Saturday they put me in a 2014 Ford Escape
I think you should be okay if you buy a Volkswagen with higher miles on it. I've been working for a used car store for the past few months and we've purchased a few Passat's from the auctions. We had a 2014 with over 200K miles and it still was driving great. We also had a 2008 Passat with 168K miles and it also was running good. I really think it all depends on how well the previous owners maintained the vehicle, but usually Volkswagen drivers take care of there cars. I worked with several VW stores over the past 10 years and VW people seem to always bring there vehicles into the shops for oil changes and services when the service is due. Just make sure to test drive the car for over 15 mins. Hit the gas pedal down hard when driving and feel how the gears shift in the transmission. pop the hood and make sure the oil on the dip stick is not super dark. dark oil means it has not been changed in well over 15K miles. Let me know if you have any questions. thanks, Chad
@@jahniahmcallister3569 change spark plugs and fuel filter all the filters and test drive it first because i don't like the way they drive but other than that its okay
I have a 2013 passat SE with the 2.5. It won't win any races, but the 2.5 I-5 is a solid reliable work horse. On low octane, it gets 30-33 mpgs on the highway.
At 6:00 Why did he say "if ya got a kid in the trunk" like it was normal... Lmao let's normalize putting their little a**es in the trunk I guess per this dealers say 🤣🤷🏾♂️
You are not crazy! He modified the title so that it would match the current year (2019 - 2013 = 6). When this video was new, it probably said "4 Years Later Review".

@Baku Tube would v6 be preferable? Need to know about the maintenance, can't see good info on carcomplaints.com
That is a very nice Passat and for it being a 2013 passats are always very amazing looking and so nice
Awesome review, very detailed and informative. I'm planning for a Passat & this is the only video that covered all I needed to know

It looks exactly like my 2015 from the exterior, they really haven’t changed styling much
Just bought my first car from the dealer and it’s the 2013 Volkswagen Passat and I love it!
Hi, I also want to buy a 2013 passat from a dealer. Could you please give me some references for the price? Appreciated!
I payed 8000 for mine used, so not sure about the new price.
Jess Sandoval Thanks for your reply! I was asking a used car! Thank you!
Sounds like you love it. I am afraid of the maintenance cost. Had a bmw that couldn’t stay out the shop.
@@jesssandoval9100 how many miles when you bought it. I saw one at marketplace FB same model 2013 ,78 k miles but he wants $12,400

CC is also a passat
Well not this car because i have one but i would definitely buy from you you seem to know your cars very well nice video great job 👍
This is a super great video, I’m going to look at this exact car tomorrow for $6,000

Not their flagship sedan. That would be the cc. And now that they are getting rid of the passat and the cc the arteon is their new flagship
