One note I forgot to add: If you are using the BoFA with ranged relic, you actually don't need to be on Rapid! Stick to Accurate or Defensive as you will be at 5tick which gets halved and round down to 2 tick anyways!
I'm kind of an idiot and accidentally unlocked Tirannwn when I wasn't paying attention and trying to teleport to karamja. I was about to just quit playing leagues all together, as this was my first time and this mistake of mine completely derailed my plans, but thanks to your videos I don't feel as bad about my mistake and fortunately haven't gotten a combat relic yet (which I was going to pick mage) and will now go range. I'm also excited to do the gauntlet for the first time now, this may have been a blessing in disguise. Thank you for all the work you've put into these videos, its been a tremendous help for me and other players new to leagues!
These videos have been holding me over until Leagues start! Your deep dives cover a ton and are so good at really breaking down a region! Wilderness next please! I need it before the league starts, haha
Been absolutely loving these videos from you. You give a lot of info without it sounding dry or boring. Definitely made me realize just how much I'll be missing from certain regions, but some sacrifices have to be made for fun with Trailblazer.
Just note that you don't need Desert for blowpipe, desert only let you smith tip but you can always craft the dart. you can get rune/dragon dart/tip from crystal impling or if you unlock fremenik you can do vork for them while also enjoy your 98% ammo save.
If there was a just a little more benefit for melee, I would consider picking Tirannwn for the Leaf-bladed battleaxe and the Crystal halberd as a spec weapon with the spec relic. Serpentine helm is also pretty good. The halberd spec has no innate accuracy boost and the second hit on a big target even has a 25% accuracy debuff, so the 100% accuracy would have great synergy. It's also a 7 tick weapon so it benefits from the attack speed buff nearly as much as 5 tick weapons. If Zulrah wasn't immune to melee, I would probably go for it because it'd be a pretty unique pick. Hopefully the remaining reveals will make it more viable!
Yeah I'm with you on that where it's sooooo close to being a good region but just has a few pitfalls that make it kinda suffer as a whole. melee in particular would be so much better if you could attack zulrah

Been thinking of going Tirannwn just for the insane synergy with the Trickster relic. With 3000 pickpockets an hour using the trickster relic and rogue's outfit you're looking at: - 34m thieving xp/h - 3.1m pure gp/h - 11.7 seeds per hour (over 900k crafting and 900k smithing xp) - A ton of deaths, natures, gold ore and fire orbs
Just a note on the serp helm, if you're a melee build you're already immune to dragonfire, venom, disease, and everything of that nature so it won't do much for you. And especially if you have fremmy as well you already have a faceguard so it's not very useful.
I'm kinda considering Tirannwn for a range or mage route. DAT lets me take the BOFA early into Nex/ToA/Zulrah and I end with ZCB/BP/Fang/Shadow Cheers for the vids don't forget to comment for the algo
Actually pretty surprised with how much this region offered, wasn't considering it at all since i was taking asgarnia and kourend so i didnt think i would need any gear from tiranwin for a ranged build. I'm still not gonna take it but i like the synergy it has with the trickster relic. I've also already decided on production prodigy which deters me from wanting to choose this one.

I feel like tiarnnwn is so niche and requires kandarin which is also a support region to be effective. I think if you made a skiller or raidless leagues build it could be interesting but you would have to pick trickster if youre picking tiarnnwn beause it synergizes just so well there. I hadn't considered the crafting and smithing method with the crystal body which makes Trickster a no brainer. I feel like smithing, crafting, thieving, hunter, herblore, farming and agility are the only important skills to consider when picking regions and the T1 relic. Everything else falls into place no matter the regions or relics. T seems to have the former covered except for herblore which may still prove to be a challenge. Guess you have xp lamps for most of that. It might even be better as a supportive region in a melee ATM route to let the trickster relic get its full potential and still have all the skills covered. You get early game melee weaponry (such as Crystal halberd specs and Leaf-bladed battleaxe) and a good ranged switch as BoFa and Blowpipe are still a great weapons at Armadyl, Saradomin, the ranged phase at Nex, the Grotesque guardians, the spider room in ToB and the Inferno without the ranged relic. A major downside (besides lack of endgame content and combat gear) is that Zulrah speed tasks will be impossible to complete with melee. Could be 1000 points left on the table. Maybe the ZCB specs can power you through it by the end of the league but I wouldn't bank on completing all of them. It's still a 5-tic weapon.
@@jurgnobs1308 Yeah me too at first but now I realize that you get 25% more herbs from cleaning them, 25% more unfinished potions for laying the foundation and another 25% more potions for finishing them. I think it will be okay. Xp lamps will still be going on agility.
Anyone that wants to rush into prif but doesn’t know how to get decent prayer xp apart from straight killing dragons and burying bones. Dark keys/chests from isle of souls. With trickster relic no fail; stack up a bunch of keys then run to the dark chest. Really only feasible if you’re using trickster relic though.
you can also get dragon pickaxe from volcanic mine now as well which i believe will be boosted points (not 100 on that) which makes it pretty fast mid to late game
I think the shilo village smelter charges 20gp each time you open the interface Also you can get d pick from volcanic mine if you have Asgarnia for the dwarf to repair it.

Im doing a Asgarnia, Desert, Tiranwnn Ranged route. Asgarnia for Zaryte cbow, desert for masouri, Tiranwnn to get some midgame sets and the meme machine gun and funny dbow
Dark bow/Bowfa/Blow + crystal armor for melee T is still good leaf - blade you need switch weapon some contest so having bowfa is bliss serp helm str bonus if trickster T is so good
As the #1 killer for Zulrah in TB1, green logging the snek is near impossible (other than the 3 vissy's and onyx's only got magma mutagen, sucks #1 snek and not even pet). Zalc just pumps out craft/smith like crazy (though today's relic release if you pick Fire Sale then zalc is nerfed). Gauntlet also pumps out great loot. Bowfa didn't exist back in TB1! Back then the salad blade dropped itself and enh weap seed didn't exist. You'd need either D or F to fuel darts for your 1tick bp. Even if I don't choose Fire Sale going for range route again in TB2, it really makes T pick really poor. Gl to those wanting to pick this region for any combat styles. Also for reference in TB1 my pb at snek was 20 seconds.

I had T/K/A as my starter, but now I'm going W/F/A because of Fire Sale. T isn't a bad option, but the grind for a bowfa when rcbow is so easy to get just really isn't worth imo.
You mentioned the gauntlet being unlocked since the beginning, but i don't think someone with 10 HP would be good there tho (i never tried the gauntlet so i could be talking nonsense) I wanted to go to the elven lands, but after seeing Zaryte Crossbow and how easier it is to get that instead of Bowfa i think i will go to asgarnia instead, if i choose range that is

When all relics and tiers are announced, would be awesome to hear your opinion on what relics are good with each region... although that might be a crazy amount of effort needed, idk xD was just awesome to hear trickster is good with this region for anyone going tirannwn

If you pick Asgarnia you can also repair the broken dragon pickaxe you can get from volcanic mine.

I am still struggling to decide for a ranged build.. Z+D+ A (armadyl, skilling stuff)/K (Ballistas)/T (So much ranged stuff) at the moment

You can raid with friends, but it's still regular Ironman, no trading among a dedicated group
