Zeke and Eren, Falco and Colt, and Marcel and Porco. This whole episode was about brothers. Eren : Because i was born in this world (3x11) Eren's mom : he’s already special..Because he was born into this world
Not sure how ahead you are. To clarify Armin’s thought process, he’s thinking about the limited Rumbling plan, which would just be the releasing the Titans in Shinganshina to destroy the world’s nation’s navies. Yes, soldiers/sailors would die, but it’s to cripple the military power of the other nations to bring them to the negotiating table. For Armin it was always a last resort but given their predicament they need a last resort
@@senpaierinreactson top of that he was excited at the thought that eren didnt betray them, that he was still their friend and doing what he had to to keep them safe
Again, Armin is the barbienheimer, blowed up some city, and now need bomb more for the peace. The show is about war: reminds about second war with racism and nukes (but with first war technology); and the first King Fritz remind the ancient wars (conquering, slavering, forced marriages and for later the religious thing about "goddes Ymir"); and Marley against other nations for territories, resources and keep the superpower status quo.
This is my favorite ep of S4. because many brothers' story here. Eren&Zeke, Porco&Marcel, Colt&Falco...as you say, so many things happening, and get ready for next ep! from Japan.
Every time I see this episode I always think, "wow, anime onlyies are sooooo lucky". After Eren's head was blown off, we had to wait a whole freaking MONTH to see what was going to happen next in the manga.
True, and they get the answer right away in the same ep. They should've made it into the end of ep. So we can see ppl talking and discussing abt the possibility of Eren surviving for the next week. Ppl would go crazy for that😭😭😭
Zeke did not betray Eren , he hoped for him until the very end . If there were no Titans in the world , Zeke would be a great person who is devoted to his family . He loved his grandparents to the very end , he was able to forgive Grisha and he tried to find a kindred spirit in his brother
I think you are mistaken about something . I gotta speak up for my boy Armin. When Armin speaks of using The Rumbling, he’s talking about the plan they all came up with three years ago to use a few of the Wall Titans to drive back Marley’s forces and the invading allied forces. He is not in support of a full scale Rumbling. *** looking at it now, I know you’re ahead on patreon & have figured it out 😂 I just don’t like people being disappointed in Armin
@@senpaierinreacts I was about to mention the same thing, but I think another aspect of it is.. what are the alternatives? Zeke's euthanization plan? Letting Marley do whatever they want by attacking other nations? There are only so many options and none are particularly good ones.
Armin is smart , but he 's weak - willed . He can 't make a great tactical decision , but he 's not a strategist . In this regard, Jean is much better suited for the role of scout commander
I enjoy his character too despite his monstrous actions. Knowing what we know now, it makes sense why he’s so duplicitous & never fully reveals himself to anyone.
I love Zeke even tho I don’t agree with his plan I think his plan makes complete sense based from his experiences. My stance is like LM Reactions here and they also think he is very sympathetic.
Trust me you are on the better site , apparently people who read the manga had to wait months after the scene where erens head gets blown off without any idea whats to come next, they did us anime first watchers a favor!
Great reaction of one of the greatest episodes of this masterpiece. I can't wait to watch your next reactions. PS: Although I've always disliked Zeke, once he found out that poor Falco had drunk his spinal fluid, the boy was doomed (we don't know much about the extent of Zeke's scream, but we could argue that anyone who has drunk his spinal fluid and doesn't hear the scream will only feel an electric shock). Therefore, in his twisted eyes, ordering Falco's titan to devour Reiner was his best solution: giving him 13 years of life as a shifting titan.
Its okay Falco im here for you ;-----; thats a W brother. there is so much to unpack this episode for sure, def this whole season. but ik it seems like Gabi has a change of heart but it seems the pain of losing Falco brought her back to that anger and why she shot Eren. the coordinate world is very confusing ngl but man these next couple episodes are amazing I cant wait to see you react to them!
Everyone in this comment section is defending Armin, but I'm here to defend my boy Zeke; he literally didn't have a choice other than scream at that moment: Magath was seconds away from killing him, then Eren would have been eaten and all Zeke ever did would have been for nothing. You gotta remember he is literally trying to save the world here. I hate when people say Zeke doesn't care for anyone and is just evil because that's the opposite of the true, he's fighting to give the *world* a better life, that's bigger than any other character's goal. He cares about the kids so much, ever since they arrived on the island he asked for Gabi and Falco to stay with him, you could see on his face the shock and grief when he learned Falco drank his spinal fluid... But it's too late to go back. He loves Pieck, Colt, the kids, but he can't turn his back on the world and his own brother. I know you're way ahead so I'm just going to say it, Zeke had purer goals than basically everyone! His solution was the most humane and the one with the least amount of death. Zeke >>> Eren 🤷🏾♀️
Everyone thinks they're trying to save the world. Zeke is incredibly self-righteous when it comes to achieving his goal, justifying every (Eldian) death he caused along the way. And in hindsight Zeke's plan might be the one leading to the least amount of bloodshed, but it's still the genocide of a people. It might technically be the least worst option, but it's still an awful plan.
THIS is the episode that led me to seeking out AoT reactions on TH-cam, for ALL the reasons you listed -- but ESPECIALLY Gabi blowing Eren's head off! I just had to watch other people's reactions to that moment. I've been hooked on AoT reactions for almost 2 years now 😅
Two brothers... Eren & Zeke Falco & Colt Marcel & Pock 9:11 FAZE GABI STRIKES AGAIN! 11:07 ⚾ We saw this scene before, but never fully. Eren not catching the ball is basically symbolic for him not actually being on the same page as Zeke here. 13:17 While time stands basically still in our world, many years will pass in the paths. Every regeneration of the titan shifters, every transformation into a titan, is Ymir forming the new body parts there by hand. She's been there for a couple thousand years of our time, but for her it's been a literal eternity, all alone, building titans. That's why Ymir is the most tragic character in the entire show. 14:20 About that... >_> Episode 19 & 20 are just absolute fucking madness and I love it so much. lol
From when I joined you on this journey there were a few things I was really looking forward to seeing. The Shiganshina fight where we lost Erwin, the levi/zeke fight there, and the fight over who got the injection was one of the major episode chains. Now this and the next few episodes I've been really excited for
Heeey give my boy zeke a break, you can't expect him to be like " you know what ok we will all sit here and sip on a cup of tea while remenicing on the good old days or something until you and falco are far enough 😃". They were all fighting for their lifes there and we saw that he didn't want to do it but he had to.
Let's explain the Paths. Its a dimension separated from the real world in time ans space. Basically, the world stopped since Eren's head touched Zeke's hand. And everything happening in the Paths, years, days, hours, is just one second in the real world. Everything you'll see into the Path is basically just one second in the real world. That's why when someone is turning into a titan, it take just few seconds to built the entire body. The lightenings are just an effect showing that when titan come on earth, they pass trough another world, basically the world of the godess of every titans, Ymir Fritz the Founder. And you have the revelation about what is the true nature of titans too. The greatest reveal of this episode is that Titans are just made of the sand from the Paths. Every titans were coming from this dimension, and were built by the Founder Ymir who is a slave since the first Titan 2000 years ago. She is in some way a methaphore of the author creating his monsters like a kid who is building sand castle on a beach. The Paths are a metaphorical place which transcends all the laws of physics. Zeke said Ymir could do absolutely everything. We must not forget this detail. This means that this place is a place where absolutely everything is possible. Even like questioning concepts such as life and death.
I know you don’t want the rumbling to take place but it’s really the only way for Paradis to not be destroyed. It sucks but in this situation it’s the only thing the island can do to survive against the whole world, let alone Marley
Exactly. The world was going to come after and kill everyone on Paradis even if Eren hadn't attacked Willy. It's a choice between a) allow your entire race and country to be massacred, or b) massacre them before they do it to you.
I realise just now that in 11:42 on the left side is Levi, together with Zeke at a Sauna with crossed arms. XD I have Naked Levi Statue Bundle with Eren(and Erwins head), i know how he looks under that towel. ;3
Several asks why this flashback when Eren loses the head and dont pay attention: its him talking about memories of his dad killing the royal family 4 years ago, the felling in the hands. Its note his dad smashing, but him who forced. Its like Tybur saying he was only moving the heavy wheel, Eren have his whell to move too.
I think Armin is too brainy, that he already figured out how this entire show is going to end. That's why he cried in that scene down in the prison cells when Yelena was telling them everything. I think Armin's megamind brain knows what Eren's end goal is. But I'm not sure. I'm not a manga reader myself, so I have no fucking idea how this shithole is gonna end. Amazing show, I tell you.
It's not her fault the subtitles are wrong. The englis subs make it sound like Armin supports "THE rumbling" when in the manga it's specified he wants a PARTIAL rumbling, so of course it would be out of character that he supported genocide out of nowhere.
Eren's failure to catch the ball instead of Zeke's handshake deepened Zeke's suspicions about Eren.
He waited years just to confirm it lol, but I guess he would have waited that long regardless if he wanted to save his brother.
it actually reaffirmed Eren's suspicions about Zeke, from a spectator's pov at least
Zeke and Eren, Falco and Colt, and Marcel and Porco. This whole episode was about brothers.
Eren : Because i was born in this world
(3x11) Eren's mom : he’s already special..Because he was born into this world
It was here I was convinced that Zeke really do care about Eren.
Even from his first lines to him, you can hear it in his voice IMO. Takehito Koyasu is just that good!

In the manga Armin clearly described the "partial rumbling" in that prison scene, but they removed that line in the anime.. not sure why.
