- In this video I take on a journey to find mods to make Minecraft the best
VR game possible. It was a pain to get mods that worked, especially considering many mods were either incompatible with fabric or with Vivecraft. This video is made using Fabric 1.19.3 and not all of the mods will be available on Forge.

Luminous is a perfect texture pack to add for torches because it adds particle animations in your hand and the 1.18 version works on 1.19.3

@@PlagueDoctorGoober 1.19.3 mods work in 1.19.2 and 1.19.2mods work on 1.19.3 the 4th number in the version is just bug fixing so it rarly does matter

@@QUBIQUBED Tree collapsing can be disabled in Physics Settings when you have Physics Mod installed (which would enable tree collapsing)

1.18-1.18.1 mods work on 1.18.1
For some reason since 1.17 mojang did some wacky changes and mod compat became a mess

Wow, this is actually a really nice video, quality is amazing! The only issue I had is that the audio goes from quiet to loud whenever it goes from him talking with the mask to him talking in-game, but other than that, I genuinely thought this was made by someone pretty popular, this is a great video. You have my sub :)
Thank you! Yeah this was the first video I did with so much emphasis on the plague doctor, and it's taught me many things! Hopefully it'll be more clear in the next one!

Another mod you may consider is titled "Do a Barrel Roll" and allows you to fully control roll, pitch, and yaw, but I'm not sure how well it would work in VR
By the way, awesome video, this is just what I've been looking for to really get into Minecraft VR, thanks, you've definitely gotten my sub!
I use that mod in NonVR!! I thought I would be awesome in VR too, but it doesn't do anything, hopefully MCVR gets more support with time

Hey! I really like this video, great job man. but mild criticism, for your live action footage I'd suggest dubbing over it in post to make it sound less muffled. Love what you've got so far though
Yeah I considered that but I wanted it to be genuine, although I do need to work on it. I bought a lavalier microphone to sneak into the mask, hopefully now it won't be too loud

you dont need the feature that allows to grab items from a distance because you can do that with a fishing rod

@@PlagueDoctorGoober the immersive mc bag thing does not work for me. I'm on htc vive and the normal inventory comes up not the bag. And when I go to controls and try to bind it to the radial menu like the help section says, pushing the button does NOTHING, literally nothing!
@@annal3870 oh what? That's what the mod wiki says.. Hmm when I used it I changed it in the steamvr control bind settings, unbinded the inventory, and binded the bag under the modded section, if I were you I would post an issue ticket to the mod so they know!

You've inspired me to finally play Vivecraft, maybe you could throw in a few world generation mods as those would most likely be compatible. It's surprising that you "were" such a small youtuber at the time of release of this video, just goes to show how anyone could be on par as much larger youtubers.

I've thought about this a lot, at some point a made little horror vr modpack, with scape and run parasites, structures and other things. In vr, it really is a scary experience!

For those wondering why there are two doors that overlap when you open doors with the physics mod, you gotta go into dynamic blocks and remove doors and trapdoors or remove the couplings mod

A fork of Sound Physics used to work with a voice chat mod named Plasmo Voice, and with it you could make your own voice echo through caves in Singleplayer (even in multiplayer if you wanted to set it up too!). It's honestly nothing like i've ever experienced before in VR. I have a video on my TH-cam channel showing this off but unfourtunately it will only work in 1.18.

Two other really good sound mods are ExtraSounds (currently 1.16-1.19.2) and Auditory (1.19-1.19.3) ExtraSounds adds a satisfying sound whenever you pick up a block/item, equip it, move it in the HUD, ect. While auditory adds very nice sounds to placing and breaking blocks. Personally I'm using Minecraft 1.19.2 fabric, since all the mods mentioned can be used in that version, as well as a few others.

But when I try to pull out the bag it doesn't work and when I do it from the menu it gives me an error saying I'm missing something. Can't remember what though. But do you possibly know how to fix it? I can send the error in a bit
@@Vix6224 make sure you have all the dependencies for immersiveMC, and the correct version of them. Also, try to add the bag to your keybinds through the steamVR menu

I’m gonna try doing this, though I’m a little scared since it’s on a non-gaming laptop. It’s always been kinda sad when it comes to working vr. However, I am able to work mods in normal Java and the occasional shader by itself. So fingers crossed!!
You might be able to get it running with many performance mods (im running 1.20.1 with nvidium, sodium, and a few others and its great), but on a non-gaming laptop I would also be worried
