I Survived One YEAR Inside Of VIRTUAL REALITY [MINECRAFT FULL MOVIE]
Welcome Back GOOBS AND GABS!! This video has been in the making for over a YEAR! Watch my Journey through VR and my world of builds that are HAND-MADE in this 2 Hour SUPERCUT going through over ONE THOUSAND DAYS! I have been playing Minecraft for a very long time, but only recently tried playing it inside A VR headset. but soon after I decided to document what I could do in a Minecraft Survival Series while confined in that kind of medium. I have built so much, terraformed, messed with redstone, and much more in this Minecraft World I originally named Epidemic, but think that confused some people so I switched to just calling it Minecraft VR! Just as a note, for distant horizon they are low LOD chunks, not entirely 'fake' ones.

@@h_hamster no there's a .jar file for Vivecraft that you put in there

@@h_hamster Putting the vivecraft installer into the mods folder most likely wont do anything, instead, look for the mod version of Vivecraft, so it downloads as a ".jar", then put that into your mods folder

I get vanill 90-120 and optifine 500+ and lag and sodium 300+ and no lag at all nvidium included

Hey Goober this video is enjoyable and it has great content i want to ask about minecraft vr after watching your vr mods video i made a fabric 1.20.1 80+ life Quality + fps boost + (Vanilla +) modpack for VR and the mods is compatible except nvidium + LambDynamicLights whan i run them together the dynamic lights will fashing so do you know about it or how to fix it ? i think you have more experience than me so I asked you thanks
hmm unfortunately I don't know about this problem, i haven't noticed it myself, I wonder if messing with the settings might help or make sure the versions of the mods are correct

@@PlagueDoctorGoober I got it all figured out. Sodium and lithium makes the game run surprisingly well considering it’s a tiny computer sitting on my forehead.

@@Grumpynut make sure you have all the dependencies for immersiveMC! Also make sure they are enabled in the mod settings and for the bag you have to change your keybindings in steamVR

Yo ive been playing mcvr in my oculus 2 and im playing and it looks like the games melting??? Everytime i move it looks very glitchy

@@PlagueDoctorGoober i also dont know if this makes a difference but i look at it on my monitor, like the gameplay and its running silky smooth its just through the vr its all messed up
@@ralphlara10 my guess is that your specs are part of the problem, VR Minecraft is much more demanding than non VR MC, my recommendations are to keep desktop mirror off, have Render Distance as low as possible and try distant Horizons! Other than that, a pc upgrade

Consider this comment my contribution to the algorithm. Also, totally not biased at all (That is a lie), but I think you should add the hex casting mod along with some of it's addons, as it has a VR-integration addon called HexVR!

I downloaded all of the mods and when I launched the game. My pc started burning so I got the fire extinguisher and when I came back it was too late. Everything was burning. Pls help
What mod did you use for more cloud layers
how do you add the performance mods? for me it tells either exit code 1 or that it doesn't work because forge is out of date so im not sure if i can update it or am stuck on the older version

@@carlosortiz9757 getting ram is simple but not easy enough to explain in a comment, I would suggest looking it up because many PCs are different and you should find a trusted source on installing new ram sticks

@@dageta7742 the quest 2 is uncomfortable in general so I got a new strap! My specs are Ryzen 5 5600x CPU, 32Gb DDR4 RAM, and a 3070 RTX GPU
Fun fact: immersive mc also works on screen mode. Don't know how cause I've only used it in VR but I know it does

But when I try to pull out the bag it doesn't work and when I do it from the menu it gives me an error saying I'm missing something. Can't remember what though. But do you possibly know how to fix it? I can send the error in a bit
@@Vix6224 make sure you have all the dependencies for immersiveMC, and the correct version of them. Also, try to add the bag to your keybinds through the steamVR menu

note: the shader problems are fixed, just use the Fabric "Sodium" and "Iris Shaders" along with a shaderpack compatible with Distant Horizons.

What are your specs? If your GPU is compatible, I recommend trying Nvidium! Otherwise, turning your render distance really low then using Distant Horizons could also be helpful
