So glad you're still making these videos. Such a great source of information for us collectors. I visit your channel quite often when researching older castings as you more times than not have reviewed what I'm looking for. With of course oodles of history and extra tid bits of knowledge to go along with it as well. Not only have you put together one of the most complete collections in the world but you share it as well. You are a true historian and I thank you!! :)
I have been watching your channel for years and I thank you for all the information I'm learning from you as a collector you have taught me so much about variations that I didn't even know about your videos of help me out a lot about information I needed on my cars and Cars I didn't have that I'm looking for still you got an awesome collection brother
Same here. I love being able to go to his vids and learn about cars that in looking for. Hes gotta have one the biggest collections in canada for sure!
I am an Amazon driver. I listen to your year by year videos every day in the van to try to memorize more. Then every weekend I go to the flea market and use that knowledge to find good deals. The last 3 weeks there have been extremely good for me and I totally owe a lot of it to your videos and knowledge. Thank you for producing these. They’re the best reference I have.
Awesome collection and nice video. I have a lot of vintage 70s and 80s Hot Wheels in mint condition and I never listen to anyone that says they are worthless. Subscribed!
So many good castings. Getting all these must've taken some serious time and money investment. I particularly like the Real Riders castings, they look awesome with these wheels (pretty much anything looks great with these really). Thanks for this very informative video!
wtffor hi I'm new to your channel and just wanted to say that you have an amazing collection of cars my first three videos of you were Jim's collection and he is a very nice man I just wanted to ask how is he doing. thank you from Seth
Love them all. Since hot wheels started all the way to present day my favorites are the vans and the byway man and the super scraper ,fire bird ,camaro, and cop cars
I just wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed watching your informative videos over the years, especially the early casting videos. You have an astonishing collection and impressive display. Keep up the great work and happy hunting to you my friend
all the cars I played with when I was a kid and my grandma bought me I got tears coming down seeing these cars I collect to I've found a lot of them to online but Iam still searching for more awesome collection
Hey wttfor, I have a quick question to ask - are Super Wheels and Yatming related in anyway? I recently got a couple of vintage cars, most of which had "Super Wheels" on the card art. However, some had metal bases and Yatming on them, while some were plastic and plain. I remember in one of your older videos you had two cases solely for your yatming cars, that's why I thought maybe you'd know anything about yatming. I hope you come across this comment among the hundreds you get everyday. Thanks! 😀 A fan of yours from Singapore
love this series of videos, some facts are off but overall entertaining. Kelloggs cars were a mail away not in the cereal, not really important, I cant remember what i had for breakfast sometimes lol. I always look forward to your Hot Wheels videos.
Thank you for the correction about the Kelloggs cars... I wasn't old enough to actually acquire these cars at their time of release, and do base some of my info on these cars from others... that being said second hand information can be slightly off at times. Thanks for watching my videos, and please feel free to share any factual corrections you have at any time, I do appreciate the community collector knowledge.
I noticed your Thunderstreak had a casting variation, one with full face helmet and the other with an open face helmet, great collection, fun video, thanks for your insight in collecting
Just acquired the purple predator with silver windows after an exhuasting search. I would not have known about this had I not stumbled across this channel several years ago. Thank you for all the great content and keep up the good work! Finally, what kind of value would you place on the above mentioned car?
Man I really enjoy all of your videos and I am still looking for a good way to display my loose cars and I see all of your plastic cases on the walls and I always wonder where you get them from because all the ones I come across are either build the slots yourself or they don't fit hot wheels at all so could you please tell me where to find the style you have? Thanks and keep up the nice work
Nice 1985 collection :) the hw's made in france are hard to find even her (live in belgium) and expensive if you find them on collector meetings. I found a couple of cars on fleemarkets but they are junkyard cars, those you have are in excelent condition and hard to find models.
I love your blackwall erea videos. I only collect blackwalls and so these have helped me learn alot and see variations i have never seen before. Im a gmc motorhome and 57 chevy lover mostly collect those castings. But THANK YOU very much for your vids. Your collection is beautiful. Do you collect the Leo/India cars too?
Another great video! Yes the Crackups pickup in blue in this video aa you stated does come in metallic red. Nice to see it with the bed cover as mine is missing that part.
Just a heads up, because I know you're particular like I am, but for the Kelloggs cereal cars, some listed here in your 1985 collection are actually for the year 1986. If you'd like to update your computer list and shelf for the years these cars came from, the 1985 models are: Thunderstreak (both blackwall and real riders), Corvette Stingray, and Supervan. The 1986 Kelloggs promotional cars are: Firebird Funny Car, Malibu Grand Prix (El Rey Special), Tri Car X8 and the Jeep CJ-7. I can email you some info to verify this if you'd like, just let me know. Awesome collection and videos!
40:22 When I first started collecting and buying lots on eBay in 2012 I bought a small real rider lot of 5-6 cars, and that one was in there. I got the entire lot for $9. The axles are rusted and stained the rims and it has a couple scratches but its virtually mint.
Yup! And in 2016 or so I got that one P-911 that is chrome and worth a lot of money (partially painted over) AND the one 1971 redline in mint green color, Highway Robber or something its called in the same big box lot of cars!
Bro!!!!! It's pronounced NEE-SAWN... I'm just bustin your chops a little. Great videos. Endlessly informative. Keep up the fine work my good Canadian neighbor.
Hey! I’m pretty sure I figured out the secret of the highway patrol fire chief car from a few videos back with the yellow 5 on the side! I believe it is exclusive to 2-packs from the early 80s with a double blister on 1 package! I have looked for a while and I haven’t seen any with a yellow 5 on plain 1 car packages or in 2 packages taped together! However I have seen 2 of the 2-pack on eBay with that car and both had s yellow 5 on the side! Mystery solved! It still seems pretty rare and I don’t know if other exclusives were in those packs.
Absolutely outstanding. I LOVE my Baja blackwalls out of everything I have (which doesn't come anywhere close to you're master collection). Did you ever find those last 3?
Another gem of a video. Detailed and very informative. If you happen to read this. I'm in process of displaying my enormous collection on my walls. Thanks to your video and suggestion I purchased 50 plano cases to get started off with and get some of the many mounted on the wall. Do you know the total amount of bywayman and Baja breakers ever produced? They are My favorites. My goal is to get each and every single one of them.
Great to hear you are starting your wall Plano display, you will absolutely love it that I guarantee! If you want a good run down on all castings of a certain type, just Google "Hot wheels (insert casting name) wiki" You will find most all of the castings and more!
Very sorry, I've been meaning to make a few videos so far and just got swamped with work... be assured new videos will be coming soon at this point! Thank you for your patience
My friend toys r us in U.S is gone me and my daughter bought our last toys frpm the company. In canada Toys r us is their im following you on your u tube channel. Can you please keep your U.S collectors up 2 date what is going on as far as diecast in the canada Toys r us...thanks buddy!!!
I use Windows Live Photo Gallery with photographs I take of the car, and then add information to the tags. I could never fathom sing Excel. Used to use it in school, always so confusing and complicated. One mis-click and everything is screwed up.
I came here because I found a 1985 Hot Wheels car not shown...it is lime green with a guitar printed on top and front hood with tiger stripes across front hood and more. Any idea why that one was not in the catalog? I can't find it anywhere!
hi wtffor love your videos i have a new 1984 white 300 zx like the red ones you have i have had it for about 15 years now its in a display box with a car tag that says 300zx on it i will be putting it up for sale soon if you like to see it let me know keep the videos coming ...Thanks.
Mark Ostermayer that's $3 per car, I think that's pretty cheap for mint 40 year old diecast cars. My grandpa collected them in the 70s Edit: I gladly pay over $20 for classic USSR diecast too, so I'm not huge on hot wheels, too much other cool stuff, and can't have it all
George Benz for a yatming though? I once got a whole case full of 24 mint cars from the 1970s. About half were Blackwalls, one was a redline, and the rest were off brand yatming type stuff. That was $25 and an extra matchbox 72 Car case from 1970 cane with it.
i was born in 1985, started to collect Hot Wheels on 2021, im thinking about buying only RLC cars, and maybe some JDM style, here its hard to get anything in stores.
The RLC cars are great if you can get them from Hot Wheels dot com directly, but then the wait times have been in excess of one year for cars at times. Then on secondary market, the markup is anywhere from 200% to 1000%. Gets pricey quickly!
I'm watching and drinking beer right now. I'm an '85 kid. This is exciting. I have about 50 minutes of beer left. Let's go!!
So glad you're still making these videos. Such a great source of information for us collectors. Thank you very much for the kind message, many more videos to come and I am glad to hear I can help fellow collectors find the cars needed.
I have been watching your channel for years and I thank you for all the information I'm learning from you as a collector you have taught me so much about variations that I didn't even know about your videos of help me out a lot about information I needed on my cars and Cars I didn't have that I'm looking for still you got an awesome collection brother

That is awesome! Very cool that you are finding some gems and that my year-by-year videos have been of help!
Very cool! Can't wait for the 1986 collection
In my opinion this was hot wheels best decade. Love your videos.
Awesome collection and nice video. I have a lot of vintage 70s and 80s Hot Wheels in mint condition and I never listen to anyone that says they are worthless. Subscribed!
awesome old cars very nice
So many good castings. Getting all these must've taken some serious time and money investment. I particularly like the Real Riders castings, they look awesome with these wheels (pretty much anything looks great with these really). Thanks for this very informative video!
It has taken me years to acquire this collection, and hundreds of hours of searching online. And then yes, probably several thousand dollars here.
wtffor hi I'm new to your channel and just wanted to say that you have an amazing collection of cars my first three videos of you were Jim's collection and he is a very nice man I just wanted to ask how is he doing. thank you from Seth
That school bus was killing me, as it looks to be bacwards - but man what a cool video!

Brilliant a great series can`t wait for the next. Thank you.
Hello from DandC Diecast we love your year by year videos, they are a valuable asset for all collectors, new and old. Keep up the great work.
Love them all. Since hot wheels started all the way to present day my favorites are the vans and the byway man and the super scraper ,fire bird ,camaro, and cop cars
This has become my favorite channel. I definitely have the hot wheels fever!
I think in 1985 or 1986, some Hot Wheel vehicles started to have the flame logo on the base instead of the plain text logo such as the Tall Ryder
Thank you for doing these videos.
You are very welcome, it is my pleasure!
I needed this video! Thank you!

RamVan Bobby well the Blackwall TH-cam community is keeping those memories alive!
Very nice video again. A lot of green light cars i bought don't roll that welk. It's a shame🤷

Do you have the hot wheels made in mexico in the 80's? The variant in pink is soo expensive
I saw it for sale once on eBay, I think I remember it selling for $400 to $500 .... I do not own one myself.
Any new videos coming soon ?

kool I remember some of these I still have that green wind splitter and the turbo car next to it that crashes in the rear :D

Hopefully WalMart picks up those lines of cars, they have got a few Green Lights here in Ontario
You can get them at hobby lobby for pretty cheap

Absolutely outstanding. I LOVE my Baja blackwalls out of everything I have (which doesn't come anywhere close to you're master collection). Did you ever find those last 3?

that single pack you have crash car is not from france it's italian. auto da scontro. ;-)
Thank you, my mistake
I have a turboa which says 1985, is it from 1985?
More than likely it was released sometime between 1985 and 1989 depending on what paint and wheels it has
@@wtffor Yellow paint and the super hotwheels.
You have added a " jump 6:00" but we dont want to miss a minute.
16:51 looks like old LA cop movies in downtown.
I don't see the Bianca de Italia in gold? Centomila. Just wondering.
I want to hopefully get 1 crack up series cars. cool. but so rare.
Saw somebody in Ontario selling nice yatming lot on eBay, looks minty, any chance it's you? If not, you may want to check it out. Only 56$
George Benz that’s too much for yatming in my opinion. If hot wheels then yeah
I looked, but I couldn't find them.... Do you have a link?

Hey there...i have a split window 63 real rider with gray rims...hi raker car.....is that from 85? Have you ever seen one?
That variation was released in 1983, it is featured in my 1983 Hot Wheels Collection video
Correction: The black body '63 was released in 1984 with Grey Hubs
