Hey Mikey, great video. When I select the ellipse and lines, and set to registration color, it fills in the ellipse (even though it was previously "no fill"). Any ideas what I'm messing up?
Not that I really know of aside from creating a layer that has them, then using that layer to create a selection and put them on each spot color. However, I Photoshop has the option for adding registration marks in their prepress options when you go to print. It's a check box but you really don't have any control over their appearance. I hope this helps.
Do you know why when I print registration marks on film on art that i have to use 2 films . The registration dont match when its time to align them. I have everything centered and all. One regitration mark will be like 1mm off
Are you using registration color? If so, and it's still off without moving them in the software, it's either the rip, your screen mesh, or your exposure unit not getting the film flat. Only thing I can think of.
@@mikeydesignssilkscreen473 yeah i print fron illustrator using accurip . When I match up the 2 films one will be off .. when I move the art group everything so this won't happen idk it just happend out of nowhere waisted like 6 films lol but thank you.
@@EJSVARZ LOL, it happens sometimes. That happened to us this past Friday. Got everything on press, and the black just wouldn't register. It also happened earlier this week with another print job. lol
But you lost me when u placed the art and was already separated. I have a 2 Color art in .ai format that when i PLACE it doesn't separate each color. How Do i separate the colors on the artwork i made on AI?

Yo mike, what's the difference between white ink and white underbase ink??
They're the same thing. We use the same ink for our under base and white top or highlight white.

Take a look at your film before you expose them. Are they lining up properly? Are you on a manual? Could be stencil drag as well.

I have some tutorials on how to separate the art. Do a search on my channel for separate. I have some specifically for Ai.

How you remove the registration mark on t shirt after you finish printing?
You'll do test prints. Once you're ready to start production, you tape off the marks on the bottom side of the screen.
