Wow!!! What a great romance selection you bought. I grew up reading Johanna Lindsey books. You should try Jude Deveraux historical romances. You won't be disappointed. Great video!!! Stay safe😊😊😊
I love the mass market paperback love and beautiful step backs💖 I surprisingly have like 2 of the Johanna Lindsey historicals. I can’t wait for another historical romance readathon from you Ladie💛
One of my favourites by Johanna Lindsey is indeed "Gentle Rogue". So I'm with the majority in this case. A "kingdom" of dreams by Judith McNaught is one of my favorites of all times. I recommended it to Jesicca and I'm glad she really liked it. You still have to try Gaelen Foley She is another grate historical-romantic autor with her series "Knight Miscellany" and "Inferno club"
Those two are VERY high up on my old school romance tbr! And I’ve been making a list of authors to look for when buying used books so I’ll add Gaelen Foley to it 😊
I loved this video 🙌 I bought like 50+ books on EBay too because of you and Jessica. I just wanted all the historical romances and there were so many good deals haha.
Omg FINALLY someone mentions Karen Robards XD She was my all-time favorite author in high school/college and I own every single historical and contemporary book she's written. I haven't read Sea Fire yet, but I did enjoy Tiger's Eye. My fave book of hers is a contemporary called One Summer that involves a taboo age gap romance between a newly-released convict and his former high school English teacher. Highly recommend you give her a try!
@@LaceyBooklovers Haha yea, I was a bit obsessed lol. Not sure how well the historicals hold up now; it's been years since I read her earlier works and I keep being tempted to go back and re-read them. I'd LOVE to know your thoughts on One Summer, if you get a chance to read it!
There’s nothing better than waking up on Sunday and seeing a book haul from you 🌺 I recently found a new copy of Duchess By Design by Maya Rodale. It’s part of her Gilded Age Girls Club at The Dollar Tree😯 Have you heard of her?
I have heard of her! But haven’t read her yet. I’ve been getting into Gilded Age historicals because of Joanna Shupe and I’ve heard Maya Rodale has some good ones!
Could you please tell me a good starting point for historical romances? I’m interested but I don’t know where to start. I just read the first in the Rivals play series and absolutely loved it! Ps. Have you read Karen Rose she’s a romantic suspense author.
Lisa Kleypas is always a great historical romance intro! I have a video on where to start with her books ☺️ and I haven’t read Karen Rose yet but her Cincinnati series is on my tbr
Love Judith McNaught! I think you’ll enjoy her. I also snagged a copy of a contemporary romance by her at one time .
I love eBay too! The ‘lots’ can be so decently priced
I’m shocked I only just recently discovered how good ebay is!
I LOVED Sweet Temptation! I hope you get to it soon, because you're right, it's absolutely perfect! 💕
It’s all my favorite tropes in one! 🙌🏼

I remember really enjoying Judith McNaught when I read those books many years ago. Another favorite from the same era (90s) is Julie Garwood.

Oregon Trail was my fave game when I was younger!!!
I’d play it alll the time in elementary school 😂
@@LaceyBooklovers :: Ditto!! The most fun was writing wacky tomb stones and then finding them in later games. **hahaa**

Hi Lacey, I always like your videos! I picked up Johanna Lindsay's Ly-San-Ter futuristic series from ebay. Hoping I will enjoy them.
Thank you!! The series actually sounds so good! I didn’t know JL wrote sci-fi until I read the blurbs. Happy reading 💕
