You’ve been gone too long Lacey! Glad you’re back. I finished F*ck Love not too long ago, so now I’m kinda back in my romance mood😍. From this list I’m liking Rhythm C&M, Fallen World, and Hard Play. Especially Fallen World because I like the whole post apocalyptic genre, but haven’t read a book with it yet. Only shows and movies.
Let me know if you read any of the ones you’re interested in!! Post apoc doesn’t seem to be too popular in romance but I’ve got my eye on some other series in that genre
I have read 4 books you mentioned: Misconduct is my favorite book by Penelope Douglas and I'm so happy you said she is going to write a second novel :-), I have read all of the books in the Honey series by Kristen Ashley and I almost DNF-ed all of them... I love Things we never said by Samantha Young and Rhythm, Chord & Malykhin by Mariana Zapata but there are not my favarite books of theirs :-) and I really need to read the Outlaws series by Elle Kennedy because they are on TBR since forever ^^
I'm don't read a ton of post-apocalyptic romance either, but I think Alyssa Cole's Off the Grid series is definitely very underrated-especially compared to her other work.
Oh I’d say a HUGE role, with the illustrated cover trend going on in romance. People go into it expecting a rom-com, but probably don’t expect all the dirty talk 😂
Finally someone mentions Laura Thalassa! I know u are a fan of her, but I simply love when this author gets mentioned, because she is amazing ~ I cannot wait for Famine and Death!
Is it okay if I suggest a book? I recently read Land of the Beautiful Dead and Heat by R. Lee Smith, who’s such a underrated author. Both the books were very different then anything I’d ever read and they blew me away. Trust me you won’t regret it.
This author is actually on my tbr! I remember I started The Last Hour of Gann years ago but put it down since it was a bit long for my mood at the time 😂 You reminded me I need to get back to it, so thank you!

Misconduct is amazing!! Honestly, anything PD writes, I’ll love. And yes you should try the Outlaws series! LOTS of 🔥 and action 🙌🏼
