I recently got my blue belt and I bought Jordans course a month prior. Everyone told me my game recently went up and I definitely attribute it to your course. Now I listen to your podcast at the gym instead of music. It's so beneficial. I'm so grateful to you Jordan. Can't wait to meet you one day.
I struggle with my mental health, and I often think that I'm the only one experiencing it in a room full of people at jiu jitsu. So hearing your stories means a lot and helps me to feel less alone.
Please keep sharing about your mental health journies. Breaking the stigma and normalizing the conversation about mental health is incredibly important. I am a new white belt, 5 months into my BJJ training. I study and watch videos all the time. Love your channel and really appreciate the podcast. I've only ever listened to a few other podcasts but this one is fantastic. Keep doing what you're doing guys! You are all inspiring! In the internet age especially, where everyone has a voice, there will always be detractors. Do your best not to give their words value. They are only jealous of your success and they want to try to bring you down to their level.
Talk about anything and everything! We dont only watch for the content but also the people providing it! The more we see into your personal lives the more we can relate! Loving all your content! Keep up the great work!
What a great podcast. I can relate with you both on so many levels about mental health. I had my first major panic attack about 11 years ago - the scariest thing I've ever experienced. As an adult I've continued to struggle with anxiety and depression. I've always tustled and fought with the way I feel, usually making it worse. Recently I've just accepted it as the way I am. Jiu Jitsu really helps keep me focused and dedicated to something productive even when I feel really bad. I actually just did my first competition and placed which is such a good feeling. Keep it up Jordan, your Jiu Jitsu videos are insanely good and I love your (and your co hosts) transparency with everything. Great stuff 🤟
Super helpful podcast. I think you guys bring a good blend of everything we experience in Jiu Jitsu and you help listeners to know its ok, your not the only one experiencing these things and also, what's on the other side of dedication to the art of Jiu Jitsu... what you can expect to get back if you are committed. You guys are awesome, keep it up.
Thank you for having the blue belt be a part of the podcast. I totally resonate with what he says. Like he can't remember the moves and some other things I've heard him say in the other shows. I've been a blue belt since the 90s off and on for almost 7 years stopped for 20+ years then came back almost 3 months ago at 48.
So your pod cast is on a different channel… Ive been watching your other channel feed for it to show up. I’d definitely make a playlist for your pod cast on your main channel dude.
@@talkjitsu keep promoting the hell out of your pod cast on your regular videos once everyone finds em it will take off. Keep up the good work brother. You vids always have some useful nuggets of wisdom.
Please don’t mind the trash talkers/haters at all. They are always the most opinionated and miserable losers that can’t command any type of respect in their personal lives. This was a great podcast. Thanks for the content!
Great episode again Jordan. I like the chemistry you three have on the podcast. I hope you do go on the retreat. It would be great to see you and chewy on a video together sharing your ideas.
Great podcast guys. Being in my upper 40s too, I can't imagine still training 6 days a week. I'm one of those guys that trains too hard but I'm finding a better speed that works for me and my partners😉 I'm screwed now because I was laughing at y'alls panic attack experiences. My wife has them and I comfort her of course but I never had one so its hard for me to comprehend. I'm sure it's gonna happen to me and I will crying like a baby🤣🤣 I would love to come get trashed by you Jordan. Maybe someday I'll be in your area👍
Haha I thought it would never happen to me then all of a sudden... It's been years since though 🙂 You're welcome any time man. I'd love to smash you on the mats sometime 😜🙂
For me anxiety has been a huge problem since 2008, BJJ has helped me control it. And what u guys describe there abt panic attacks, is totally true it feels literally like ur gonna die. Great podcast!!!
I train at San Diego under dean lister @victory mma if you ever in southern California you should come by and visit and roll with us 🥋 Im still a white belt but with your content/videos it’s like a cheat code in video games , so thank you 🙏🏽
Strangely I started BJJ because I was looking for a martial art I could do with my son and keep doing it into my 50's and 60's. THEN I started watching MMA.
I started jj bc I’m really beat up from other martial arts and sports, and I can do jj everyday with minimal impact. I know older ppl in Japan focus on Ne Waza (judo ground game) bc of the longevity of this side of the sport. 🤙🏼

Love that y’all are open about mental health
Jiu jitsu helps me stay sober. It’s nice to hear there’s someone else it also helps.
The informal, casual vibe of your podcasts directly reflects the very atmosphere of the Limitless gym. This was great with my morning coffee!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it!

Jordan, I hope you never stop your commentary. I tune in bc I’m interested in your perspective and thought process. Never change, my friend!
Amazing pod and the Jordan teaches jiu jitsu channel has helped me big time starting out! Many thanks for the UK, Wales🏴

Excellent Podcast! Very relatable

If you could add time stamps in the description that would be lovely. Thanks.

Another good one
Thank you!
I know the wrapper logic. Use just enough material to fully enclose the object with a slight overlap.
Don't listen to the haters I really enjoyed the black belt going in as a white belt prank

I appreciate it 🙏 Sorry man I like to keep it 50/50 Gi and nogi 🙂
For me my dad knows the coach
can we compete when we are anxious?
