Kris, thank you for your wonderful past unboxing review and 2 videos fishing the Tenryu TF32TA. In the future please publish video Tenkara fishing the Tenryu models TF39TA and TF39. Tom Davis of Teton Tenkara and Tristan of Tenkara Addict both published vids. on the Tenryu TF39TA, however to date there remains a paucity of videos covering these Tenkara rods. Your Channel continues to offer excellent coverage of the many premium Japanese and American made Tenkara rods available. I and many other Tenkara fisherman appreciate both the thorough educative quality and entertaining nature of your videos. Best regards Sir.
Well, thank you for the kind words. That is on my list to do, fish all 3 Tenryu rods on one trip. Now that I have sold a bunch of rods, I have more time to fish the best of the best.
Great video! The TF39TA had a similar issue with the tip cap being too loose initially, Tenryu wound up sending new caps out to replace them. They may have to do a similar thing with this rod. Mine is also loose to the point where it will likely fall out.
I didn’t know the 39TA had the same issue, thanks. Keiichi-san said I could mail the plug back and they would send me a new one after taking measurements but I haven’t bothered yet. Did you get your rod back yet?
I would ask for an updated cap, they need the feedback that a problem is present. especially at that price point. thanks for sharing the video, great fish, and great creek.
