Thanks for uploading this. Never seen his stuff from the 90s. I can tell his accents were not yet refined yet. Not as good in this bit as his later stuff. Must've taken years of practice to make them all so good. I've heard his Indian, Cantonese, New York Italian, British, Arab, Australian, Filipino accents in other performances and they were all so spot-on and hilarious.

Loved the era.....the entire audience dressed so modestly...no unnecessary body flashing, piercings, blue-green hair etc.....the era is gone now...gone never to return again
@@HomeMoviesdotCa I understand. This popularity by RP fan, like me, is due to the sporadic amount of his early material. Most comedians have, maybe, up to 3 - 4 hours of material that outline their start and subsequent rise to fame. Because Russell was part of the group of celebrities that became successful through You Tube, the amount of his early material that is publicly available is scarce. So stuff like this is really valuable; it shows where his comedy was at, in the late 1990s. Just a question: would you have the CBC show that he did, which included him doing some skits? @@thedarkness5032 Sorry to say don't have "Comics" RP. 1st time we saw RP he did a bit about Indian retailers bartering, "Take It - n - Go" omg we laughed our socks off, would love to have that one to put up. And, I enjoyed that tv show he did about a Indian-Canadian in India too.
