As a Saudi guy, I agree this is how we Arabs and especially the people from the Peninsula (Gulf+Yemen) are, generous and kind. We have a saying in Arabic that translates to "Be generous to a generous person and you'd win him, be generous to a mean person and he'd rebel on you." What he said about the Bin Laden Family is pretty accurate, they're one of the wealthiest families not only in S.Arabia but in the entire M.East, despite the fact that they're originally immigrants from Yemen. Their development company has build huge infrastructure projects in S.Arabia and the other Emirates (I'm talking entire highways, airports, skyscrapers etc.), they own their own private bank and have investments in countless other companies. Most members of the family have been educated in the USA or the UK, at top universities and follow a very modern, western lifestyle. Osama himself had Western education, lived for many years in New York, where he worked in one of the family´s logistics/ shipping companies.

I have Moroccan in-laws and I can confirm the giving stuff thing is very common. “Hey that’s a nice painting, did you do that yourself?” “Yes, it’s yours now!”
Haha that’s nice and true. I am Moroccan living in Sweden but Morocco is not in the Middle East it’s in the Mediterranean very close to Spain and Portugal.
Even Osama Bin Laden himself spent quite some time in the US during his childhood, so yeah, we shouldn't be surprised that his brother sounded American.
Hitler family is very defensive about their surname. Trump’s will be the same way. Not all Bin Ladens are Osamas. Judge the individual, not their family.
The first time I saw Russell Peters I wasn't a fan and thought he was pandering to the crowd too much. but the more I saw him the more I realized that he is genuinely a really funny guy. He has some of the best material I've seen in a long time. He's especially funny when he's going off the cuff.
Russell always nails it. Weirdly, as a strict mormon youth in salt lake city, raised by an lds father from Oldham Lancashire, I understand religious upbringing.
this is somewhat misleading. Osama's grandfather did build saudi arabia and the Bin Laden family is absolutely loaded, but there are so many half siblings all the influence has become diluted. Osama was something like the 27th son of his generation and only met his father twice.
Dude Russell has Kevin hart money 💰 prob from his bro Dave smith they throw veyrons in the 🐪 desert 🌵 if they break the tranny or it won’t move no more.... throw it around like 🍚 rice. He paid... smart man...
Russell never fails to make me laugh also learned more about the middle east + osama bin laden from him than any story from the media! This is how you bring the world together!
If the Prince of Saudi Arabia likes you hey your golden in Sandia Arabia....... We’re all aware that Saudi Arabia is thee only country to be named after them, they all, the Saudi Family.......
I love how he turns around to make sure he’s connecting to the entire crowd and not just a folks in front of him. Not too many comics do that on this stage.
I love comedians like him, they bring the world together! :D There's good and bad people everywhere, but honestly most Muslim countries treat non-Muslim visitors like royalty. Its just media and a few psychos that distract everyone from the reality.
Thats sooo true! I have met many caucasians who lived in Saudi Arabia for over 10 years and were treated likely royalty with incredibly high incomes and benefits provided to them by their workplace. One friend said she lived there for 25 years working at a hospital that payed for her car (including the cost of gas), house (a freaking mansion), and gave her and her direct family free tickets to any country they want to visit every year. Her children were all enrolled at top American schools.
Hayah K i wouldn't say royalty because that would be wrong ... and muslim countries are a bit hostile/opressive of other religions especially in ksa ... but that being said in the west like usa ... the middle eastern culture is wrongly portrayed and is pictured way more aggressive than it is
I agree. But for the sake of honesty.... I have to openly admit to being too afraid to go to the middle east anytime soon. Given that I'm white as white gets (Irish) .... I wouldn't be all that safe outside of maybe Saudi Arabia and qatar...
He handled this story soooooo well! This is what makes me such a big fan of him. He breaks boundaries with his stories and is not afraid of going against the stereotypes rather than enforcing them to explain the truth. The Western media loves to portray Saudi Arabia as this incredibly backward and ignorant country when in fact, its one of the most advanced countries in the world. The people there are incredibly friendly, respectful and ridiculously generous. Once I went to Jaddah and I had a Saudi mall security guy help me cross the road without me even asking him. Store guys at malls would get me and my family chairs to sit on and even brought us free juice and soda while we were shopping there. I have been to so many countries yet I have never experienced such kindness and generosity the way I did in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Yes there are lots of bad social issues going on there but this is no different than the social issues most Western countries including the US have.
I feel ya. Navy vet here, went to numerous ports in the UAE and I think at least mall-wise they are more respectful and considerate. No screaming kids running all over in the malls, etc
i.e.d stop with the lies man, i am Saudi from jeddah and i can almost guarntee you that all the security guys that works in malls through out the kingdom are 100% Saudi's as foreigners arent allowed actually to work in such a jobs So please check your facts before posting out

@@carrizalesjl95 normally racial jokes aren't sprinkled in with a completely clean set though. I'm perfectly fine with political jokes, but not when its just thrown in randomly, it doesn't even match well with the rest of the set. But the airports are a nightmare. This is what they do, they gather the worst most incompetent people they can find in the entire country and say the airport is yours to handle do whatever the hell you want and then they waste your time mistreat you lines for literally hours stupid questions mistreating the elderly No care for children People are afraid of leaving the lines to go to the washroom. This story jumped to a whole nother level once he started talking about Bin Laden, holy shit!
Angad Sharma it's true tho 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Even Osama Bin Laden himself spent quite some time in the US during his childhood, so yeah, we shouldn't be surprised that his brother sounded American.
Bin Laden family very very very rich
Hitler family is very defensive about their surname. Trump’s will be the same way. Not all Bin Ladens are Osamas. Judge the individual, not their family.

The first time I saw Russell Peters I wasn't a fan and thought he was pandering to the crowd too much. but the more I saw him the more I realized that he is genuinely a really funny guy. He has some of the best material I've seen in a long time. He's especially funny when he's going off the cuff.

Whoa I learned more about osama bin laden in this comedy show than all these years of American media
this is somewhat misleading. Osama's grandfather did build saudi arabia and the Bin Laden family is absolutely loaded, but there are so many half siblings all the influence has become diluted. Osama was something like the 27th son of his generation and only met his father twice.
That's why you can't get any facts from the American Media. You have to research and study on your own.

Russell is one of my favorites. He can work a room. I love how he plays to the people behind him.
Hayah K i wouldn't say royalty because that would be wrong ... and muslim countries are a bit hostile/opressive of other religions especially in ksa ... but that being said in the west like usa ... the middle eastern culture is wrongly portrayed and is pictured way more aggressive than it is
Whatever man, fuck Islam anyways. We need to move forward. Sincerely, a fellow Middle Easterner.
Nader Maroun well said
I agree. But for the sake of honesty.... I have to openly admit to being too afraid to go to the middle east anytime soon. Given that I'm white as white gets (Irish) .... I wouldn't be all that safe outside of maybe Saudi Arabia and qatar...
lol His impressions are so underrated.
I am glad you liked it :)
I feel ya. Navy vet here, went to numerous ports in the UAE and I think at least mall-wise they are more respectful and considerate. No screaming kids running all over in the malls, etc
A man's perspective.
i.e.d stop with the lies man, i am Saudi from jeddah and i can almost guarntee you that all the security guys that works in malls through out the kingdom are 100% Saudi's as foreigners arent allowed actually to work in such a jobs

Personally I don't understand why people get triggered over something someone says from someone they don't even know. And I mean this for both sides who cares, do they pay your bills do they have anything to do with your life. You have no idea where they live who they are so I let him get under your skin. They're just narcissistic, thinks that the whole world should listen to them and anyone who doesn't is whatever they decide to call you.
It's like this post you can either agree with it or not agree with it but to be absolutely honest I don't care either way. If I have triggered anyone and you feel you have to send me a post telling me what a d*** I am you're just wasting your time because I don't give a Sh*t.

The queen of England was a badass when she hosted the king of Saudi Arabia one time. She knew it was illegal for females to drive in Saudi Arabia. She asked the king if wanted to see the grounds. He said yes, probably assuming they would be driven. She drove them both in her personal land rover. Cheeky.
So empowering for her to be a taxi driver for the king. Great story.
