In bw you do have a father you dont see him but he's mentioned at the beginning of the game before you pick your Pokemon and press a on the tv it says: its a new tv that dad baught! So Hilbert and Hilda do have a father

This is my favorite thing ever. the Gym leader theme from RSE is my absolute favorite theme in the entire series, and the ORAS one is just awesome...so these two together is nice. I love the slight pauses (intentional or not) to hear the classic tune by itself for a few seconds.

Wow... this is amazing. I feel like the ORAS version and the RSE version compliment each other really well. We add in epic strings from ORAS, more horns from RSE and they mesh so well. The fading in and out with ORAS adds extra power, and Colosseum's version is my favourite version of the song. To see that added is an an extra along with ORAS... just...MMMMMF.
Extend this please. I need it for a brstm.

It's kinda depressing to think that only Brendan/May have a father. Another father character would be great though but instead of a Gym Leader, make him Champion of that Region's league or the leader of an evil organization (like Silver and Giovanni) for a plot twist.

The perfect blend between the janky yet beautiful trumpets of Gen 3, and the smooth jack-of-all-trades Gen 6. 5 stars
So many little extra counter-melodies that are just missing from the remake: 0:04 and 0:26 stand out most for me
This is...THIS IS AMAZING! This is my all-time favorite gym leader theme! And this mashup makes sound so much like the version they use in Pokemon Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness (AKA My and certainly many other people's childhood nostalgia).

Roxane: oh no u didn't girlfriend! That is what her pose tells me she is saying
Brawly: I really like his redesign. He is totally ready to hang ten dude! The shades are a nice touch.
Wattson: I always thought he looks like Wobbofett. Jolly as ever!
Flannery: she is HOT... in more ways than one. But just about everyone thinks that.
Norman: he looks like he is going to ground you for a week if you lose to him! Lol.
Winona: Graceful and light as a feather. Her new artwork kinda reminds me of Elisa from Unova.
Tate and Liza: Ah the devel twins. I kinda prefer the old outfits. But they still look cool.

This is a fantastic mashup! I love how much emphasis is added with the two together. This is my favorite gym leader theme made better!
Gen III still has the best gym leader theme, with Gen I being a close second.

Now this is amazing.
The starry synth (my personal favourite instrument from the originals) paired with the clean orchestration of the remakes.
The original trumpets complement the pummeling percussion of the modern version.
This is the fusion of the omega as well as alpha states, perfectly representing the Hoenn games: the perfect equilibrium of the alpha and omega states of planet Earth.
I'm so glad that they made a Remake for R/S/E, Pokemon R/S/E was my favorite generation and game, It was my first game to play in fact! The way you did a Mashup for this, brings good old memories from the original game, while still having that new remake theme in to remind you of how awesome the remake is too!!
This combination is giving me chills...
The combination of stringed instruments, percussion, and orchestral realness with trumpets, french horns, and chiptune really makes for a good mashup.
Though the fadeouts to the r/s/e version are a little distracting, in my opinion.

for the next remake (quite obviously D/P), Game Freak really needs to consider trying mashups with the older and newer game themes, instead of creating entirely new themes. because these all sound great!

I've been recently thinking which of the two versions (GBA & 3DS) sound better to me. When it came to listening to this, a mashup is perfect because both gym battle versions are awesome to listen to.

lol every time I hear this, I imagine that I'm having a double battle with two people from different universes, with the same theme so it turned into this. Like the old R/S/E universe is coming together with the ORAS universe in a battle.

All this time, I never noticed that that part isn't from RSE, or ORAS, or even BW2. Someone used the GameCube games' soundtrack! :D How did I not recognize a segment from one of my all-time favourite Pokemon games until now‽
after replaying emerald i can confirm the trumpets were a lot calmer in the remakes

+ravesilly It is still there in the remastered version, but it's played so quietly in the mix that you can only just about hear it when using careful ears. I do wish they did make it more prominent though like it was in the original games.

Lots of people like to talk about Norman being the only father in the games, so let me copy-paste this reply to a comment so that everyone can see it (until it gets buried, that is), that gives a possible explanation as to why the protags' fathers never feature in these games:
Several generations have mentions of a dad that you never see- and these mentions are in the present tense, implying he's still around. Those other dads are most likely just salarymen. In Japan, most men (mostly office workers called "salarymen") work 12-16 hours a day, so they never really get to see their kids, so it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that the developers are drawing from their own experiences for the family dynamic displayed in these games; even Norman is constantly at his Gym, and in the ORAS postgame, he has to work yet another night during the Litleonids shower, which is why you even got the tickets in the first place (they were originally for your parents). Also, that's one less character for you to deal with that might object to you leaving home on a journey, a la Bianca's dad.
Honestly, I think that Nintendo should have just done this as a tribute to how successful r/s/e was.

The interesing part of the mashup 3 + 6 gen is that the 3rd has so much high notes and the 6th too much bass. With those 2 the music complement each other making it perfectly balanced

for the title you should have put the original ruby title and put the alpha sapphire title but thats just a preference, you dont have to if you dont want to
