These are intersting videos. I didn't think they would lock the doors of all the lecture halls during breaks in Aus. I can just walk into any lecture room (not lab rooms because of equipment secuirty) at my High School and University during breaks (Canada). I guess it depend on the area (proximity to major cities) probably lock all the lecture halls for safety as well.

I understand that you have to work hard to get into local universities, but going to a local uni can also be one’s choice. While it is a great achievement, simply learning there would not bring happiness. What brings me happiness is knowing the fact that I worked very hard to get the degree I got, that gave me the qualification to work in my field. It also allows me to learn so many cool things and be involved in cools projects. Happiness is knowing that I can inspire and help other people to pursue a career in the same field, regardless of weather they went to a local uni or not :).
