People are only going on about 5 wins in a row because it's fresh in the memory, but are forgetting the other 33 + donestic games. End of the day he chose to leave, it wasn't a plain sacking. It's not his job to involve himself in the transfers, it's his job to coach and not put the players fitness at risk because of his ancient training methods so if he wants to walk, let him 🤷‍♂️

    • @brandonjablasone7544

If you want a manager to win, you give him key, important players. Roman understood that, which is why every manager Chelsea had at the time got a couple of key signings, and they delivered. When they didn't, he sacked them. You can't just give a manager a group of random players and tell him to coach. First of all, Pochettino is not just a coach; he is a manager. This isn't high school, bro. Poch is not in the business of teaching football. He teaches football philosophy and a winning playing style. That's why top manager get players that fit their style so the transfer of ideas happens much earlier. If you want a project and you buy kids, it's going to take 2-3 years for the manager to transfer his philosophy onto the players and create an environment where they can thrive. This isn't FIFA, dawg. A lot of things affect player performance, especially young players. Stupid people like you think based on no logic and fail to understand nuance and context.

They've said they'll sign experience this summer and they're not looking for a "yes man" but if there can't be a mutual understanding he can do one 🤷‍♂️ he's no Pep and this team has got crazy potential under the right tutelage

No shock on Poch sacking with Chelsea given most of season - 30 weeks of the season sitting around 10th-12th place.

    I am a Chelsea fan.
I cannot believe the dude says he expected Poch to go after 5-0 against Arsenal. That would have been a rookie decision. The right way is to finish the season and analyze it and make decision. That shows people at Chelsea learned the lesson from Poch exist (That is plosive)
The guy continues and talk about 5 good results for Chelsea so Chelsea Football Club should be happy that a team full of great players (And yes they are great players) only showed up for last 4 games!?
All these polls are easily influenced by media, 3 games will change ordinary fan opinion and the same fan will turn against Poch if he does not get result in first 3 games of next season which I am sure it would have happened if he stayed.
Chelsea owners made right call, Poch is not an elite manager. I hope he stays in England and go to United, it makes our journey to top 4 much easier.
It took him 25 games to realize Cucurella's best position is inverted left back and he did not realize, injuries forced him to do that. This is not elite manager, I prefer having a promising young manager make mistakes rather than him.
He is perfect for West Ham

The last World Cup Rashford was scoring goals for England, Southgate never used him enough or to full effect, hes not had a great season but neither has his team who lost 14 league games, broke all sorts of the wrong records this season, he gets called out for his work rate but clearly Ten hag had been telling him to remain forward as the RW was the player who would track back and if fans paid attention to how Ten Hag did things at Ajax they would have known Antony tracked back, Tadic remained forward. Not making excuses for him but i do remember Glenn Hoddle leaving Gazza out of the France 98 squad instead bringing David Batty along, a very good player but he wasn’t the sort of player you could bring on if you needed a goal with 10 mins to go, Gazza was, then there was how we went out of the competition, Batty missed a penalty that Gazza would of stuck away. I’d of taken Rashford along for the training camp, if shaw makes in, theres no one that works better with shaw down that left side than Rashford, rashford has had no left back for most of the season behind him, our midfield could hardly get the ball forward under ten hags chaos ball, tried and tested just works better, he should of went.

Not good if you want stability at a club. We (under Ashley )were/are proof that changing the manager doesn't always solve the problem.
This is almost as daft as if Martin Edwards had sacked Ferguson straight after they drew the cup final 3-3 against Palace in 1990.
How different history could've looked if Edwards had taken that decision.........

The decisions made by this character have been dreadful and he no credentials to be making major footballing decisions for a proud club like ours. If we finish lower than 6th next season that will hang on Eghbaly and he will not be tolerated any longer. The man is on thin ice. I think fans should be able to veto stupid decisions like these.

I have no sympathy for Poch at all. Chelsea were so poor until the last 5 games. 30-32 games sitting outside of top 10, lost the final to a kids Liverpool team C, playing players out of position, we’ve had some really really poor games. People having mercy on poch but the season is not defined on 5 games period. Bring in a new manager who knows what they’re doing and play the players in their right positions and we will be good. These players are not bad they just need a good coach and poch is not a good coach.
