    I feel like some people should realize that this is like a gt car , it has sporty touches and has performance. It’s not the star of the show , it’s a car that has a duality . Comfortable luxury and deceptive sportiness . It’s not a raw sports car , that doesn’t make it not good enough . Keep the work going .

      Meh... coupe with as much backseat as a mini cooper?... its isnt a "Confortable luxury" car, its meant to be a sport car but they failed it

      A CR strut bar and control arms make this comparable to the 911 996 c4s.. Easy to make this car nimble.

      @@HOBBL3 I fit 4 6ft tall people in my 2011 S5 with no problem, honestly the S5 is bigger than you’d it expect weighs almost 4 thousand pounds. Great in the snow too I can fit 2-3 snowboards with 1 back seat down and take it to the mountains in Colorado with no issues other than fatass potholes destroying my tires.

    • @kenstyle6
      @kenstyle6 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DeiHarper9361 I had mine for a year and a half and sold it after making many maintenance repairs. I think the main issue I had was leaks. Steering rack and engine seals, radiator leaks, wiper bottle leaks. And with such a tight engine bay, engine out for maintenance was common. Another issue would be suspension components - the car is getting older so all the suspension and braking components will have taken a beating and will be near end of life/replacement. On top of all this, no matter what I did consumption never seemed to improve - a full tank of daily driving (city/highway mix) would get me only 260km. 300km on the rare occassion, full highway driving would be around 400km. I had my car from about 86,000km to 103,000km. So I put a fair amount of kilometers on it despite it being in the shops for 2-3 months of the year and a half I owned it. It was sad to part ways with her but I knew I had to - I was no longer willing to put any more money in.
      All said and done it was something I needed to do - to buy that car and own it and drive it and just revel in the glorious V8. For me though, I never loved it enough to continue the upkeep.
      I now drive a Subaru Forester 2020 daily. 0% driving pleasure, 100% commuting ease. I have a 1995 e34 525i manual for the odd- weekend drive. So far it's cost me a fraction of what the Audi did in maintenance. Fingers crossed.
      Life is for living - if you have a budget to play with, get it. I'd recommend this car to someone who had a comfortable budget (shoestring will NOT do), was familiar with cars and able to work on it confidently or had a very trustworthy shop they could rely on. Otherwise, that glorious V8 rumble and bark will not be enough to allay the nightmares of what might go wrong and how much it might cost this time around. The key words here are "this time around". That haunted me! If you're comfortable as above, then enjoy it for awhile or longer. YOLO. Just go into it with your eyes open that it may cost a lot (a V8 = 8 sparks plugs, 8 coil packs, 8 cylinders to walnut blast, 8 injectors etcetc) but I'm glad I had the experience. In saying that though, it was an expensive experience and one that has made me a lot more careful of my purchases now, definitely!

      @@DeiHarper9361just save money. These old cars are gunna have some repairs needed. Period. A lot are high miles and the repairs aren’t cheap but def cheaper than bmw and Benz. They are reliable as long as you do your due diligence and research. All German cars need inspections and diagnostics every year. They aren’t hard to take care of at all as long as you have spare money for maintenance. The manuals and forums for these cars tell you what to change at certain mileage.

    You expected to be wowed by a mid level luxury GT car with a chassis developed 13 years ago? You have to understand that they kept the major goodies for the rs5. Your test car has over 100k miles and probably hasn’t been carbon cleaned recently. It does have the sport differential though which is the best option for the S5.
