Have to give Kay credit though, 2021, just inedible, God love her. Almost the end of Feb 2023, the improvement really is out of sight. 75% of the time. She's an absolute trooper!
Hi Kay. Great job, I didn't see any lumps in your gravy! Tell Lee to add a touch more salt and it'll just be tasty. There is no need to wash minced/ground meat. 😊
My mom used to make something similar (celery instead of peppers) she called Autumn Stew. I loved it - yummy comfort food Loved this one Kay - seeing one of your videos pop up in my feed always makes me happy 😊
You're right, people don't know how to just enjoy content like this, without being d**ks... It's like the Aubergine on toast video, I watched that when I was feeling miserable and it just cheered me up.
Hey Kay and Lee! My friends and I love watching your videos all together. They always bring a smile to our faces. Thanks so much for the content and keep up the good work! xx
That beef hash looked liked a nice treat for a Tuesday. Its always a nice surprise when you cook a nice meal that's bland but at the same time has lots of good flavours that compensate the blandness. I remember one time I got some compensation after I found a dead mouse in a jar of jam. I reported it to the jam factory and they sent me five pounds of jam vouchers, a jam t-shirt, a jam key ring and a jam spoon. The contaminated jam was still nice and tasty if you are around the mouse, so that was an extra bonus. Fumbs up.
I love Kay's recipes but your comments take my appreciation to a whole new level. Your comments, while often misunderstood, are a gift to the world 😅Fumbs Up!!!
I don't care what people say Kay.....keep doing what you do. It's ok to not be good in cooking but the fact that you are trying to grow has my respect. And you are soo cute Kay. Plz never stop making these videos ever.
That looked pretty tasty.👨🍳 As to your comment about the bland meat part, layer salt and pepper as you add ingredients to your dishes. For example, even though my spaghetti sauce has a lot of flavor, I salt and pepper the minced/ground meat and add a lot of salt to the boil for the pasta. Layers are key, and easy enough once you get used to doing it. I enjoyed your video, and subscribed for more. 👍
I do enjoy watching you Kay & Lee, because you have a really good bond with your son & you do have a good time & a good old laugh... I also just wanted to say, you say you don't like separating the yolk from the egg, here's 2 good & easy ways to get the yolk out, get a small water bottle & put the hole of the bottle over the yolk & just squeeze the bottle & the York will go into the bottle or use an egg cup put it over the yolk & pour the white of the egg in a bowl .
Kay, is there a reason you wash your ground beef over there? That's something that's never done in the USA. Seems that it would prevent it from getting browned properly anyway.
Now that I think about it, the only meat at all that some people in the USA wash before cooking is chicken, and it's very dangerous to wash raw chicken, because the water droplets spread salmonella. It's much safer to NOT wash your chicken at all.
I also found the meat washing very strange. Maybe unique to England. I think it might wash a lot of the flavor away. As much as we should keep fat content to a safe level for our health I think fat= flavor. Some great and friendly hints from Eric.
Hi Kay!!! I have really been enjoying your videos, it makes me want to try some of the recipes (even if I might tweak them a little), and I was making rock cakes for my grandma yesterday and I was wondering if you would ever have a crack at making some of them? :D
Absolutely beautiful dish as always Kay. My friends and I always love to watch your videos and get recipe ideas from you. 🥰I would love to recommend a dish for you to try making. It is relatively easy to make! It is called Arroz Con Leche. You won't regret it!
Kay, why do you change the names of some things. Like carrots you call carriots and salt you call salty walty. I never know if I'm using the correct ingredient when I'm using your recipe.
Great recipe Kay thank you 👍 It will be a tree pollen allergy that you have now, I get it too, especially from hazel trees. I always start on antihistamines in early January in preparation 😊
Kay Try chicken divan. I have heard everyone in England loves a curry. Mother in laws recipe: 3 chicken breasts directed season with salt pepper and 1/4 tsp of curry powder. Cut 2 large crowns broccoli to bite size prices. Prepare 4 servings of rice. Have a 13x9 baking dish ready and oiled. Heat oven to 375. Add chicken and broccoli stir well . Mix 2 cNs cream of chicken or mushroom with 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 3 tsp of curry powder. A little milk if you think it is too thick. Poor over chicken and broccoli Cover chicken broccoli mixture with your desired amount shredded chedar cheese. Cover and bake until broccoli and Chicken are cooked through. You can use frozen broccoli. It works great. Serve over rice Love from Alaska
Kay, your chopping skills are equivalent to mine haha. Maybe better, idk, I take a good 30 minutes per veggie. But, you are so cute and wholesome and I'll always come back to your channel
Hi Kay love watching your videos as does most of my family now . Always cheery such a joy to see 😀 Can you please make Creamy Chicken Bacon and Leek pie ? its an absolute fave in our family but is sooooooooo scrummy I think Our lee deserves to taste this luxury pie
You don't need to worry about cutting anything too small to taste, that only applies if you're also only putting in a very small amount of the ingredient.
Love your videos, Kay. Your enthusiasm is infectious. But please, you don’t need to wash your mince. Any bacteria will be killed during cooking - all your doing is spreading those bacteria to your sink and surrounding kitchen.
That actually looks really tasty, but looks more like a beef stew. May change the groud beef out for some cubed chuck, add about a teaspoon each of salt and pepper, and toss in a can of peas right at the end of cooking. Be sure you don't wash the beef, and brown it in the pan first. Double the amount of carrot, and cut them a little bigger. Cook your onions at least 2-3 minutes before adding FRESH garlic (please don't use garlic from a jar if you can avoid it). I think that would be really good.
@@dittosawr I thought that may be the case. I was wondering why a person would flip the board to chop the pepper 🫑 after the carrots??????? I absolutely loved what Lee said for the taste test….. It’s nice A little bland But the amount of ingredients compensates for that….. Bless his heart.
An enthusiastic thumbs up from Lee! You're really coming along nicely Kay 😉 I wasn't in fear of you cutting your fingers once Keep up the good work luv 💞

Yup lol, it makes a bit of sense. Good ingredients and cooked decently, but just not enough seasoning during the cooking process

I make this but without the tomatoes. Add 2 knorr beef cubes and 2 tbsps Worcester sauce to make it really tasty
How do you wash mince meat? Iv never heard of doing that before

That's way better then my dad's hash. It was literally just minced meat and potatoes, no seasoning, undrained, soaking in fat.
