According to some cast and crew members, during production/filming, Pamela Springsteen did not tell anyone she was Bruce Springsteen's sister. Several found out about it years later. The characters Charlie and Emilio (played by Jason Ehrlich and Justin Nowell) are the real life names of Molly Nagle's (Renee Estevez) brothers, Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez. Felissa Rose was asked to return as Angela Baker and she did a reading, but didn't quite click with the comedic one-liners that Angela delivered in the sequels. She was also preparing to attend college at the time. This film was shot in Waco, Georgia, at a camp ground formerly known to locals as Camp Waco. It is now private property. Most of the buildings used in the film are now gone. The restroom, abandoned cabin and swimming pool are the only things remaining. Debut and first nude scenes for Valerie Hartman. After this she appeared on an episode of the TV series Cheers and an erotic thriller. Then she left acting. Character Ally Burgess (Valerie Hartman) is arguably the most sexually active girl/character in the Sleepaway Camp series, as she is the only one to have sex twice. Body count: 19 (though Molly's fate was left ambiguous at the end, It is revealed in Teenage Wasteland that she did die as Angela referred to her in the past tense). The sex scene between Ally and Rob was actually with Valerie Hartman and an extra during shots showing her nude since the actor playing Rob (Terry Hobbs) was only a minor during the filming. They show close ups of Hobbs in the movie, but they were shot separately. He wasn't present while Hartman was naked. He joked during an interview that he really wished he could have been there for that.

In retrospect, Angela in this movie acts like a toned-down version of her aunt. I think it makes sense that she'd pick up some of those overly cheerful, kind of off mannerisms that the aunt had in the first movie.

The camp councilor at 6:38 was played by German actor, Walter Gotell, better known for his recurring role as Russian General Gogol in James Bond movies including 'The Spy Who Loved Me', 'Moonraker', 'For Your Eyes Only', 'Octopussy', 'A View To A Kill', and 'The Living Daylights'.
Gotell was also SPECTRE agent Morzeny in 1963's "From Russia With Love", and he reunites with Robert Shaw (who played Red Grant in the second Bond film) again in John Frankenheimer's 1977 film "Black Sunday".

TH-cam needs to cool it with the copyright strikes and content strikes for anything they deem inappropriate unless some other site wants to spring up to take its place.
That's the problem with not being run by one of the current giants like Facebook or TH-cam. None of the sites can turn a profit when they need to pay their content creators. Even TH-cam loses money and without enough money the servers can't be maintained, resulting in everybody who liked a site having to move elsewhere, cause the owners are too poor to be an alternative.

Yeah, same. They definitely aren't anywhere near as iconic as the first one but, as slasher sequels go, they're actually pretty good. And the relentlessly cheery but also really mean spirited tone is pretty unique among slasher sequels, too.
I already watched this video, but since it's finally (back?) on the channel I rewatched it. :D And Brad, at 5:55 you can see the match went out even _before_ Angela threw it. Also, if the name of the killer in the previous movie's camp was known, how did they not pick up that it was the same Angela that is now working in this movie's camp?!
And why the traumatized psyhotic woman who had killed a bunch of kids, even if she was considered cured and let out of the mental institution, was allowed near children?
I'm going to be completely honest, I love Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers because it's more entertaining, more inventive kills and more nudity than the last Sleepaway Camp movie. I don't care what everyone else has to say about Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers. Great review though, dude!

All the cheesy jokes make me laugh. And I don’t like that many horror movies, so the fact that I got attached to this one makes it special.
I'll be honest. I liked this movie. The change in the character is explained by her having gotten treatment and she's supposedly cured. It just failed to make her less murdery.
