When your gcse consisted of throwing paper in the bottom of your bag all year and then having the extract it from the compacted heap at the end of the year to revise and you realise. Hmmm maybe that won't work in Year 12.

@@apexking6794Just giving some guidance on how to become a more considerate and generally well rounded individual in all aspects of life... Even in the comments section of a TH-cam video. But I thank you for the words of encouragement. I just know that it's the little things like dropping results off the bat which can nag at insecurities, being the older sister of two brothers who struggle considerably to achieve a C.

Rebecca Xox it's been 3 days at my school and they still haven't printed out our timetables, they've been telling us what lessons we have and then it turns out being the wrong lessons and the teachers shout at us. It's so annoying, why do they expect us to be organised if they can't be themselves
Rebecca Xox in Scotland you start the new school year around may time, so we get ours timetable then, meaning we start the exam course in may too!

That's just Laura That sounds much better than here. I am a primarily science based person but I also love English lit, French and Latin, but instead i'm forced to take only 5 A levels: bio, chem, physics, maths, further maths (sounds like hell? Yeah, it is)

I live in Scotland and I am doing the equivalent of GCSEs we have to do English and maths and then we choose 4 elective subjects. I am going chemistry biology modern studies and French
The type of school Eve is doing isn't compulsory so technically she has graduated so she gets to pick what subjects to do.
In Ireland I have to do English, Irish maths chemistry biology ag- science and French! I wish I had less subjebs 😢

I love the day folder idea but it just won't work in my sixth form because we literally flip back months and go back to look at older notes for reference so it's impossible to know what I'm going to need😩💜
It'sAllTalk, same! And my teachers randomly look through somebody's folder to see what they've previously taught and to check that they're organised 🤦🏻♀️

Yeah it's not really realistic. Individual copybooks will make you keep everything together without much effort.

People talking about lugging around 4 files but do people not have lockers? I find the idea of day folders very uncomfortable because I like everything in one place and I'm an organisation freak 😂😂

I don’t know how to utilize lockers...
I never used my lockers in year 11 because our school (also Eve's school) decided to shove the lockers in random corridors so it was impossible to put stuff in your locker without being crushed by people going to lessons guh
So lucky we get ones in better places in sixth form

Please can you do a GCSE organisation video. Where you show how to do your folders (especially for the sciences find that so hard to do !!)

Hadeeqah ah best of luck for year 10! If you want, I posted a video recently about how to get 7's, 8's and 9's in the new GCSE and it may help you out if you were to give it a watch!? I was part of the first year to do 1-9, and a few asked if I could make a video on what I did to get those grades! It's not quite how to organise your revision etc... but it may help a little, revision wise!😊😬❤

Priyal Kapoor haha I've had this comment before!😝 our school did it a bit differently and gave us our English and maths in 1-9, but then also converted all of our other GCSE's into the new system based on our UMS😊

Does folders with raw papers holepunched into them give anyone else anxiety that they gona rip asap you close the folder? Cause me too. Plastic valets are therapy.

I got three 7's, five 8's and two 9's and was part of the first year to do 1-9, so I thought I'd make a video on what I did to get those grades! I recommend the binders with the handle, they’re very helpful to carry other stuff at the same time than stacking stuff on top
ik this video is so old, and i’m literally 22 and out of education entirely, but i love watching back these sorts of videos. partly because i wish i actually did this when i was at school and college rather than doing literally 0 revision 😭 but also because it’s just so satisfying seeing so much studying and note taking, like it makes me wants to randomly study something now in my spare time.
I wish I could follow your system with the day folder, but the Sixth Form I go to wants us to bring in a ring binder folder (the massive ones) per each subject every lesson, so some days I have to carry three folders to Sixth Form 😫

Alaa Mohamed I get plastic folders/pockets (no idea what theyre called) and out all the work we've done for the certain topic in. Once were done with the topic, I'll put all paper into my actual folder. So I'm only carrying 2 (at most) plastic folders/pockets a day x
Hi just a question do you put all of your notes from your notebooks in your folders or do you re write them out and then stick them in...is it easier to have a folder and your notebooks full of notes or have it all together in a folder? I love your channel so much thank you for making this video❤

Awesome video we always wanted! I’m in year 10 and I feel like I’m not working hard enough but I am! Please any tips to memorise faster and understand fast. I do use flashcards and post it notes for definitions, maths formulas and Business Studies

Hi! My advice as a year 10:
- Finding ways to study by year 9 is a must! Finding what works for you is important;
- Discipline is key when it comes to homework and study ( eg. do homework as soon as y ok get it)
- Have a clear mind! Having a clear mind is great to understand where you are at, it also keeps you on a good track.

I have a question... so you said you have the daily folder which you take everyday, and then you store them in a big binder, but where do you take your class notes? in a folder or notebook? also where do you put it later?? It's confusing.. because i dont get what you have in the big binder, or for what you use stuff, answer meee pleasee, thanks
I’m starting to revise and have been looking at your techniques. In a video you mentioned having the exam specification in the front of the folder. How do you get the specification?
You can find them online. Look at your school website and see what exam board you're using (if it isn't there then ask your teachers) then type into the search bar "[exam board name e.g. AQA, Edexcel][subject] specification" and there will be a link to a pdf where your specification will be.
I think im going crazy but she may have used to go to my school??!! And like i love the channel and never knew?? (Not gonna say the name for obvious reasons)

The day folder idea is brilliant for college students also, it can be hard to keep up on what folders you need for what classes on what days... this solves everything! 😍

I used the day folder system in the IB and literally bless. I mean, I could barely carry my Chemistry folder by the end, and that didn't even have my past papers in it, so the day folder saved me.
Also, at the beginning of a new semester I always like to make my timetable into a lock screen for my phone. That way I literally always have it on hand 👌🏼

i just found out that my core subjects for gcse that are compulsary arre maths, english, literature, religious education, pshe, and p.e.......... not including my chosen subjects with are art, ict, history and german.....

Ugh they do this stupid folder check in my sixth form and they call home, book parents evenings etc if your folder is not it good shape why?!?! I hate folders

I can’t do the day folder thing because in Spanish we literally use things from months ago in lessons and our politics teacher makes us bring in our folders every lesson because “it’s not that much” like yeah tell that to me when I’m 17 and crippled
We have 7 subjects in Ireland and have to do Irish (language, maths & English and then we're allowed to choose the rest which is kind of shit if you don't like maths or English or irish
