GUYS I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!! ❤️❤️ give this video a cheeky like if you’d like another folder organisation video with how I organise sheets within the folder, dividers etc!! Flashcard organisation? What are you feeling! Let me know 😉✨✨✨
Honestly this method SAVED me in sixth form - i was surprised how many people hadn't heard of it when i uploaded my video explaining it last year, so glad it's catching on!!!!!! Loved this x
For those who take notes digitally - this still works! You can keep your physical worksheets in the day folder and your digital notes digitally until the end of a chapter, then print all of the notes and put them into the subject specific folder with the physical worksheets (keep them separate if you feel like it). In my subject specific folders I always have the spec printed at the beginning and then dividers for each larger chapter from the spec. I tend to just keep notes and key worksheets and actually throw away question sheets, because I know I won’t use them to refer back to when I have the info concisely in my notes. In terms of actual note taking, I find it helpful to just type everything that comes into your head while in lesson and focus on understanding the content, then in my next free or when I’m home I’ll take 15-20 minutes to format and organise the notes in a more concise way that makes sense to me, with subtitles and colours etc. :)
Hi jade ! Just wanted to say thank you for your videos ! Especially the study with me ones. They motivated me to revise for my GCSE’s, and somehow managed to get four 9s, two 8s and four 7s! Xx
I so wish there were studytubers like you when I was at college. Looking back I had the potential to do so much better but had to muddle through by myself. Having someone like yourself to guide organisation, revision techniques etc would have so helped me. I now refer my GCSE students to channels like yours to help them.
I'll be starting sixth form in a few dayss! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HELP :) It seems like an amazingly simple and effective method, and I would ABSOLUTELY love more back-to-school videoss!! xxx
Spent hours organising my folders yesterday (I love it) and I've got 4 subject folders (Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Economics) and a day folder, I basically did this exact method. Oh and I clipped note cards to the side in case I need them. I'm so excited for sixth form
I almost do this, the only difference being instead of having a day ring-binded folder, I have separate A4 plastic wallets for each subject which I use in the same way. The 4 wallets fit in my backpack whereas a big ring-binded folder wouldn't.
going into year 13 was worried how i was going to juggle with all my books, folders etc, will defo be doing this when i go back such a simple and clever method, thanks jade! never fails to impress me, such an inspiration love you!!
Hannah mushtaq Here’s my tip. Get your notes and bin them. Learn the text books and mark schemes as that’s what gets you the marks. Treat lessons as revision not learning. Easy A*s
hey, i remember being in year 10 and watching this video the day it came out! now i've had my gcse results (12 9s!!! i'm so happy!) and i'm going into sixth form in september! your videos really motivated me, so thank you,
Oh my gosh, you’re brilliant. I love your videos and you really make me want to do as well as you now that I’m starting sixth form. Thank you for your content!!!
As a uni graduate I whisked I learnt this lesson earlier! Always spend time organising at the beginning of term- saves you a lot of time and effort in the long run!
I used this method! I didn't even realise it wasn't widespread, it seems so obvious once you know about it lol. Another thing I found helpful during sixth form was a bullet journal. I didn't do any fancy calligraphy or anything, I just used it to record the homework I had to do throughout the week as well as other stuff I had going on because I was fed up of school homework diaries that don't have any space to record events you have going on outside of school. So I had a monthly spread which was just literally an overview of the month, a homework spread each week, and then daily sections (not whole pages) where I made lists of what was happening that day, what I needed to get done and anything interesting that happened. I would totally encourage people to look up the bullet journalling system because tbh it saved my life in sixth form!
Hi Jade 😍 I'm french and in 3 days I will be moving to London for uni ! I'm really excited but also kind of scared.. like I'm such an introvert and English is not my first language. I hope everything goes well for you xo
London is one of the most exciting cities in the world, but can also feel very lonely and anonymous. Make sure to force yourself out of your comfort zone early on - never isolate yourself, and don't be scared to ask for help because EVERYONE (international or not) can end up feeling a little alone at uni
I’m going into my first year of college next week and I was totally stressing about how many sheets and different things I was going to get with each subject but this is sooo helpful! Can’t wait to try this method out when I start thank you Jade you’re amazing!❤️
Honestly this method SAVED me in college - I can put all of my college subjects in order and I know where I done my paperwork is and it's makes my life easier for me
This video is gold! Thank you so much for the consistent help! I’ve purchases small pocket folders/pouches for each subject to store my work in and then big files for at home. I sort of branches off of your idea. Thank you Jade!
for a second i thought i was watching lucrezia chloe haha! you guys are uncunningly similar in looks, i guess because you both have smimilar golden curls and a wide beautiful smile. you're both really awesome though, i loved this video. thanks haha p.s i did sub ;) lol
I cannot really use this specific metod at my school(since I have different schooling system) but I'm still watching the video and I'm really happy that you made it just to help others who'll be struggling this year! I hope you're doing all right and that you are resting well!
I did this the whole of last year (yr12) and it genuinely helped so much so will definitely be doing it again but then I also have chapter dividers in the subject folders to make it easier to find sheets from the past to revise from as it keeps topics together so I know exactly where they are
Starting year 12 on Tuesday and this just saved my life! I’m doing A-levels in biology, chemistry, psychology and sociology and did not want to carry around 4 folders.
I’ve literally just finished my second day of year 12 and my bag was so heavy! I thought maybe I should buy a bigger bag but actually I just needed to think smarter. Luckily i saw this video now! Jade, you are literally a life saver.
You have no idea how glad I am that you uploaded this! I start 6th form in 2 days and I'm not that organized, so this video helped me out a lot. Thanks for all your amazing, interesting videos as they're super helpful :)
This is my plan, it will save having to carry round 3 jam packed folders in a rucksack or in my arms, it also prevents your subject folders from getting broken or lost too! Thanks for the tips Jade, I would love to see more organisation tips xxx
Ahh thank you for this! I’m starting sixth form in a few weeks and I’ve been trying to find a way to not have to carry round folders for my other 3 subjects. Thank you so much ❤️✨
Thank god for this video, I've got a week left till I begin Sixth Form and I've been stressing about how to organise my work, this has helped me so much. Thank You!!!
Jade thanks a ton for making this video my exams would be approaching in just 5 days and I really need you to make a video as to how I can prepare for 7 subject in just 5 days my portion is vast and time is running away I need you to make this video as soon as possible so that I can organise myself for my exams. It's highly important and this video with matter a lot to me. I simply love your channel and find it way too interesting and helpful! Continue making such videos love u!!
Ahhhh I'm going into Year 13 next week and this hack sounds like it's going to be a lifesaver! I'm doing the IB so I got into such a mess last year trying to carry around six folders + my TOK/EE folder (I just ended up with disjointed sheets of paper everywhere at the end of the year lol). Thank you so much Jade! Your videos got me through Year 12 (I honestly don't know how I would've turned out without them).
hi i know im 4 years late but how was the ib for you? im starting ib soon & i have no clue on how many notebooks/folders to buy, can u tell me what u did pls?
I would recommend getting plastic dividers!! They’re a bit more expensive but you can use them forever because they don’t get ruined. Btw I love the day folder system and it’s also good because your sheets and folders get less wrecked when you’re not carrying them everyday. I’m going into sixth form next week but I used this system for science gcse (I did separate so I had science nearly every day, each with massive folders so this really helped).
Yessss this is the perfect video!! Starting sixth form a week tomorrow and going to be doing English and History so it’s so lovely to listen to your advice! ✨
I love your videos soooo mucchhh! You seem like such an honest and trustworthy, relatable and down to earth person that I genuinely enjoy watching EVERY SINGLE video of yours!!! ❤❤ plus your videos are so HELPFUL! thank you so much for this video😭😭 I've been needing advice on this as someone going into sixth form this year 🤗
Jade thank you so much for this! Also I’d like you to know that I’m currently transitioning to a plant based diet (hopefully to become fully vegan one day!) due to your video about why you became vegan. I’m very grateful of the effort you spend to make videos as they encourage me to work hard (and I got good gcse results so thank you!) and to strive for healthiness. 🧡🌿🥑
Thanks for doing this in-depth thing. Especially when you put your notes away in your day folder into your subject specific folder at the end of the chapter and not at the end of the day where I might need them for the next lesson
this hack is a lifesaver!! I used to carry four separate binders for each subject and then store away the subject binders I didn’t need in my locker, but I found it very annoying to keep coming back to my locker in between classes and lunch breaks. I will definitely be using this method for the upcoming school year. thanks so much jade! also I was wondering what the notepad you were using was, since I have been looking for transferable notebook with 3 holes?
Awhh thank you so much!! I’m so glad it can help you out in some way! 😉✨ as for the paper refill pad, I think it was just the WHSmith’s own one I used, which I still highly recommend 💛 x
My Sixth Form doesn't even have lockers 😂 there were some when I was in Year 7, but we were too young to use them, and then they got rid of them eventually, so I have to carry everything around in my bag all day. It gets pretty painful. (So hopefully this hack will take some weight off my back 😂)
In year 12 I had separate folders for the subjects I did but I also had plastic wallets/folders for each subject (can get them from ASDA, poundshop) and labelled them so I didn't get confused, that I took with me to carry all my paper and any sheets I got from my lessons and would transfer them into the folders at home, when I knew I didn't need those sheets anymore. Saved me carrying a folder all day as it can take up a lot of space when I'm already carrying textbooks as well.
This was really useful! Thanks! Did you wear your own clothes at Sixth Form/College (I'm clueless on this stuff). If so, a video like "What I Wear On An Average School Week" video would be really useful, especially if it was Autumn based. Keep up the great work!
I personally started using the Surface Pro when I got into year 11 (last two combined school years in Germany are 11 and 12) and it was just a blessing. You have everything anytime you need it and there is really not much weight you have to carry around.
thank you so, so much, jade !! i am terrified at the prospect of starting sixth form next week, and your videos always just bring me so much reassurance 🌻 love you so much, you beautiful human being 💛
start doing exam practice as early as possible, always read ahead, and review the lessons by making notes the day after the lesson is taught.... do it ... EVERYDAY! if you do that you'll smash your exams. :) -a year 13
my friend told me she saw someone do this and im pretty sure its you and you just came up on my suggested and this is generally the best idea ever I'll be using it for sixthform
I would also like to add, you may need more than one folder per subject. I start Year 13 next week, and by the end of Year 12 all my subject folders were overflowing and messy, so I spent a few hours redoing them. I separated chemistry into physical, organic and inorganic, psychology into each paper, and biology I just left it all in one, and bought a new file for my Year 13 content. You might be able to manage with a folder per subject, but I like to have lots of notes in different formats so I can change up how I revise. Just how I do it. Hope it helped, and thank you for the great video as always Jade x
Starting sixth form next Tuesday and am so excited! Thank you so much for all your advice and guidance videos Jade x I feel quite prepared and confident for 6th form! (Which I probably wouldn’t have felt as relaxed if I didn’t stumble along your channel last year 💕) much love xx
Make use of your time effectively, stay focused, beware of fake friends, make sure you do your flash cards + revision notes, NEVER throw away some of your sheets because some sheets are more useful than you think and revise from the beginning. Good luck!
Thank you so much! I've literally been waiting for this video ever since I saw you working on it on your instagram story. I absolutely knew it would be lifesaving, because I'm so shan at organsiation! Usually I just end up with a horrible mess of pules of paper everywhere (or not to be found at all) and since I am German I take 13 subjects for the last two years of school, which makes organisation even more difficult. But your method is amazing, especially in exam preparation :D
Hi! I'm starting 6th Form next year, and was wondering - has this system ALWAYS worked for you, or were there times when you forgot to put work in your day folder? If so, how badly did that impact your work (at school) the next day? Thank you :))
It’s probably q annoying to not have teachers may have to give u spare and it may j interrupt the lesson + make them think u are unorganised/ forgetful. So j make it a habit
GUYS I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!! ❤️❤️ give this video a cheeky like if you’d like another folder organisation video with how I organise sheets within the folder, dividers etc!! Flashcard organisation? What are you feeling! Let me know 😉✨✨✨
JUST IN TIME, THANK YOU!
Thx so much
GCSE organisation!!!
That would be sooo beneficial x
Yes all the videos for sixth form I’m so nervous
Honestly this method SAVED me in sixth form - i was surprised how many people hadn't heard of it when i uploaded my video explaining it last year, so glad it's catching on!!!!!! Loved this x
Yessss!! And honestly it’s been lifesaving for me! I’m glad you can attest to the system 😉 thank you gal x
Eve Bennett I got the idea from you!!!!❤️
Ibz Mo really needs to TM this
“I’m just quite lazy” says the person who gets up at 5am every day 😂
I’ve literally spent all day watching your videos😂you’re going to save my life in sixth form
YOU’VE GOT THIS!! Staying on top of it from the start is all you have to do 😉🤷♀️ good luck xxx
I did this too 🤣🤣😓
UPDATE UPDATE how did it go

This has been my GCSE method! I think I'll carry it on, with only keeping neat notes and relevant sheets after the lesson tbh
Thanks so much I was so on used abt what to do when taking ipad notes
Thankyiu! Im gonna take digital notes next year on my ipad
This video was very much needed as I start year 12 next week and did not want to carry four folders around with no lockers.
START REVISING FROM THE BEGINNING
Literally what ive been worrying about, what subjects are you doing?
Caitlin Ryan Notes are completely pointless in sixth form. Learn the text book and mark schemes and you’ll get an A*
I'm doing History, English Literature, Psychology and Sociology
For English lit I suggest you make essay plans and mind maps as you go along because it saves you when it's time for you to revise.
I start sixth form next week and I honestly cannot wait! I love organising folders and books so this was so helpful ✨🌈✨
Good luck, i hope you do well. But honey, you dot a storm coming....
Read this back in a years time :)
This was once me before a levels took over
Me toooo. Good luck for your first day!!!
i start next week !
Hi jade ! Just wanted to say thank you for your videos ! Especially the study with me ones. They motivated me to revise for my GCSE’s, and somehow managed to get four 9s, two 8s and four 7s! Xx
Happy for you, congratulations
Houda Samad thank you !!
Julia T what did u pick? Well done!
Fereschta Haidari I chose geography, biology and chemistry. And considering doing a 4th but might be too much x
Wow
*And the queen is back at it again with another video* ❣️
Got an advert with ibz in it before the vid 😂 studytubers are taking over 💪😂
I LOVE THIS!! 😂👏👏
Omg same
Oh my god same!!

Wow! That's early
Yassss good luck!! ☺️✨ keeping on top of it all from the start will make it a lot less stressful x
No way, thats so early! Are you in the uk?
Leyla_fox Ff I know haha! And yes I am x
What
Thank you so much for posting this! I'm terrified about going back to sixth form next week but your videos really help to make me less stressed 😊
Spent hours organising my folders yesterday (I love it) and I've got 4 subject folders (Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Economics) and a day folder, I basically did this exact method. Oh and I clipped note cards to the side in case I need them. I'm so excited for sixth form
Jade is our organisation queen!!
I go back to Year 13 tomorrow, (TOMORROW?!?!😩) I hope your life after school is prosperous & your gap year is full of fun ✨
Shannon, I’m wishing you all the luck in the world for an amazing year!! 💛💛💛 thank you for such a lovely message! 🙈 x
So early!!
my y13 starts tomorrow too! good luck!
Leyla_fox Ff I know! My school said they want a shorter summer so we forget less information taught throughout the year 🤷🏼♀️
r mia oh god good luck too! What year are you going into?
I almost do this, the only difference being instead of having a day ring-binded folder, I have separate A4 plastic wallets for each subject which I use in the same way.
The 4 wallets fit in my backpack whereas a big ring-binded folder wouldn't.
Omg literally I do it the same way
that's clever i'm going to try that when i start sixth form in september!
Yeah I'm using a smaller day folder than the lever arch file for that reason 😅
going into year 13 was worried how i was going to juggle with all my books, folders etc, will defo be doing this when i go back such a simple and clever method, thanks jade!
never fails to impress me, such an inspiration love you!!
Hannah mushtaq Here’s my tip. Get your notes and bin them. Learn the text books and mark schemes as that’s what gets you the marks. Treat lessons as revision not learning. Easy A*s
which subjects did you do at A levels
Hannah mushtaq Maths, chem and bio

YAS JADE! YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF SELF CONFIDENCE AND KINDNESS! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE KNOWLEDGE!
Hi Jade 😍 I'm french and in 3 days I will be moving to London for uni ! I'm really excited but also kind of scared.. like I'm such an introvert and English is not my first language. I hope everything goes well for you xo
U will do great Alexandra,, Gud luck👍😊
Mathangi Eswaran thank u 😘
London is one of the most exciting cities in the world, but can also feel very lonely and anonymous. Make sure to force yourself out of your comfort zone early on - never isolate yourself, and don't be scared to ask for help because EVERYONE (international or not) can end up feeling a little alone at uni
Good luck!! You will be amazing❤️
C'est gènial! Je souhaite je peux parler français. C'est trés belle. Aussi, que vous vais faire en London?
Jade I will never be able to say how much I am grateful for your videos because it is unexplainable- they are casual magic!
I’m going into my first year of college next week and I was totally stressing about how many sheets and different things I was going to get with each subject but this is sooo helpful! Can’t wait to try this method out when I start thank you Jade you’re amazing!❤️

Ethan Martindale Yupp I’ve also purchased small pocket folders to carry around in my bag.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one that does this but every time Jade does an intro I say it with her subconsciously😊 Thank you so much for the video :)
for a second i thought i was watching lucrezia chloe haha! you guys are uncunningly similar in looks, i guess because you both have smimilar golden curls and a wide beautiful smile. you're both really awesome though, i loved this video. thanks haha
p.s i did sub ;) lol

You should auction your Biology notes 😂 you’re so clever
I did this the whole of last year (yr12) and it genuinely helped so much so will definitely be doing it again but then I also have chapter dividers in the subject folders to make it easier to find sheets from the past to revise from as it keeps topics together so I know exactly where they are
I’ve literally been going through all your videos for sixth form advice the whole day 😂
From India and no one really bothers to inform you as to how to organize... you really help so much
Love ya💖
Starting year 12 on Tuesday and this just saved my life! I’m doing A-levels in biology, chemistry, psychology and sociology and did not want to carry around 4 folders.
I’ve literally just finished my second day of year 12 and my bag was so heavy! I thought maybe I should buy a bigger bag but actually I just needed to think smarter. Luckily i saw this video now! Jade, you are literally a life saver.
You have a beautiful smile💛
YOU ARE SO BLOODY MOTIVATIONAL I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
I’m going into sixth form, so this is really helpful!! Thank you 💗

You are so inspirational to me, I'm revising right now while watching you and you're so amazing thanks so much
I needed this soooo much 😭😭😭I’m starting sixth form and I was just so confused on what exactly to buy and how I would organise things!

This was really useful! Thanks! Did you wear your own clothes at Sixth Form/College (I'm clueless on this stuff). If so, a video like "What I Wear On An Average School Week" video would be really useful, especially if it was Autumn based. Keep up the great work!
i'm stressing about starting year 12 in two days and your videos are a massive help! i've taken some great tips from them, thanks a bunch :D
Do you rewrite or tidy up your class notes when you get home?
loving the frequent uploads!
Class of 2020 where we at?
I personally started using the Surface Pro when I got into year 11 (last two combined school years in Germany are 11 and 12) and it was just a blessing. You have everything anytime you need it and there is really not much weight you have to carry around.
Yasss 2 uploads in 2 days👌😍
Miiiiiight even have one tomorrow; we’ll see 🤷♀️ (edit edit edit)
thank you so, so much, jade !! i am terrified at the prospect of starting sixth form next week, and your videos always just bring me so much reassurance 🌻
love you so much, you beautiful human being 💛
Jade: “I’m generally a lazy person”
Fugh offffff 🤦🏼♀️😰
I’ve stocked up on books and folders for starting year 12. This is so useful, thank you. xx
thank you for this video!! Going into year 12 and this will definitely help me😊
OMG just watched like 20 vids on a level folder ideas, then went to dinner and came back to this - great minds think alike!
OMG I requested this haha thank you you’re a babe!
Was waiting for this video so bad.
Litteraly jade you are an inspiration. Wherever i feel a bit low I watch your videos
Today was my first day in sixth form and I’m honestly so scared 😟 But this video helped me calm down a bit 😊
shishter shnapped ooooh you started early
How was it? I start in a few days
start doing exam practice as early as possible, always read ahead, and review the lessons by making notes the day after the lesson is taught.... do it ... EVERYDAY! if you do that you'll smash your exams. :)
-a year 13
hope its all going okay :)
just make sure you keep your notes organised and review everything youve learned straight after the lesson
my friend told me she saw someone do this and im pretty sure its you and you just came up on my suggested and this is generally the best idea ever I'll be using it for sixthform
this video was great, and please could you do flashcard organisation? also, I think you're great, keep goin girl 💎💚
My files are messed up so thankyou for this motivation and advices! x
Good luck!
I started college last week. I’m doing biology, chemistry, maths and further maths and my folder is already a huge disorganised mess lol...
So j make it a habit
this is so useful, all of year 12 I've been lugging around massive folders and breaking my back- definitely starting to do this in September!
