The range of brown varies with the food. We feed a raw, freeze dried with cooked chicken and supplements so our dogs all have varied from medium brown to almost “orange”. It doesn’t necessarily mean liver failure. Believe me that liver failure has specific symptoms.
Also, several vets told us wormy poop will be foamy or mucusy and will progress to watery diarrhea and may have blood as the digestive tract is irritated.
Living on acreage, one dog is constantly eating things off the ground so I’m constantly fighting worms.
This is 1 of the reasons I just don't understand people who don't clean up after their dogs. Apart from the very real fact that it's beyond disgusting not to pick up after them, it is also, for me, a way to keep an eye on the health of my dogs.
Dogs have been pooping outside since the beginning of time without people picking it up and we are all just fine. It has also done wonders for fertilization of the ground. People just want something to complain about ALL the time. It’s a natural function. Most people don’t even die in the place where they live now. They bounce from home to home. It will belong to someone else when your dead anyway and they will have poop in there yard. Dog Poop will be around long after you are gone. Just relax.

Prior to diagnosis from the vet once he began bleeding, he pooped a large white, flat, substance the size of a large burger, it looked like white rubber. Within a couple of days he was vomiting and bleeding puddles, he was the 6th dog in our road to go down with HG. What could that white substance be? The last time we saw the vet I showed her the last drip from him that also had a little white rubber looking round in the mucus. She asked me what it was, I don't know, and nor did she.

My pups were treated for coccidia prior to me adopting them. One tested positive again. I treated her with Albon and put GI Synbiotics in her food. Poop is dark brown mainly solid with a slight orange softness at the end. Also noticed very tiny white specs no bigger than dandruff. She takes a dewormer. She's finished with her meds, should I have her retested? Her behavior is great, very upbeat, eats well too. Tests are expensive.

My dog ate a few potato chips that’s were yellow orange in color. Noticed he pooped orange runny poo afterwards. Possibly the chip dye color came out thru his poo?
My pup has attempted to eat other dog poop and now since I have moved Goose poop. My vet told me a while ago that some animals do not digest their food totally and my pup smells the nutrients still in the poop and thinks she is eating food. Leave it command has helped but she still wants to eat it. She is 9 now and has been doing this since a puppy

You did not cover Giardia much other than briefly mentioning it. Giardia is super contagious and is probably the most likely ailment in your dog if they have diarrhea for days and it won’t go away on its own. Giardia and parvo both have very strong, foul odor associated with them and the main difference would be the energy level of the dog, of course. With parvo, your dog will be noticeably listless and different. Giardia doesn’t always show up as a positive with a PCR test, either, so Fecal tests are not accurate. However, Giardia is super contagious and causes runny, runny poop that is usually dark yellow in color and can be awful to get rid of since it’s hard to pick up without leaving a huge smear behind, which easily reinfects other animals and can even infect you. Giardia is easy to treat and cheap to treat. Even if your vet says a test came back negative for Giardia, if your dog has runny, dark yellow poop for more than a few days, there are no visible worms present, they are acting normal otherwise, and the poop reeks, I’d err on the side of treating them anyway. The standard vet protocol is pancur and metrozonodole (sp). Costs like $15 to $20 to treat.
sir yesterday my dog got loose motion and vomiting. I took her to vetinery hospital they given some drips and injection ofter thet she is getting beetroot pink color loose motion . It's y sir iam getting scared plz help me to find out the solution for this

Yes, when you switch their food you have to do it slowly. If not it can cause an upset tummy.
My dog is old and been given anti biotics for bright orange dog diarrhea no tests this doesn't sound correct to me
What about hair in poop. And it clearly hurts when he wants to go poop.

My puppy had watery poop he just didn't get on with kibble, so I changed him over to a raw food diet and that turned things around and his stools became normal at 4.5 months old.
