  • I built the Moathouse from Greyhawk and the Temple of Elemental Evil. A classic DND setting.
The Moathouse was the most epic piece of TTRPG/dungeons and dragons terrain I’d ever crafted. It’s playable inside and out, has roof pieces that individually reveal rooms, and was as close to the reference art as I could make it. The entire board is 4’x4’ with the building taking up most of that space.
In this video I’ll explain my method for designing and building the Moathouse from the inside out. This is a post to build review, and not an in-depth tutorial, which I will explain the reasoning for in the video.
If you'd like to have your own playable, realistic Moathouse Diorama built, you can check out my Etsy shop here: parttimetabletop.etsy.com/lis...
I’ll also post links to a few other tutorials from myself and other content creators that you can use to replicate techniques I used in this build:

Exceptional project. I have a lot of nostalgia for that structure, first encountered in T1 The Village of Hommlet back in the early 80s.

I love hearing that. And thank you very much. Glad I could provide something cool for fans of the setting.

I totally agree! The brick jig changed my life for the larger builds.

Planning... Almost the same weird thing as measure twice and cut once... Who invents that weird stuff anyhow?
