Just shows the level of mastery, self control & respect. How many times , in other sports, have we seen “sparring” get outta control or go too far. As great as these guys are, there’s still such humility that they aren’t above goofing around. When you’re considered the best, especially at combat sports, ego can get so inflated and your persona becomes your actual personality. This was dope to watch

Accurate.
Even when playing around, their footwork and techniques are near perfection. Just goes to show how hard these two train to be who they are today. Even when playing around and throwing those erratic punches and kicks they're doing it with great timing and landing them on target. That's how you know these two are legends. It's hard to pretend you're not good, when you're so damn good.

For years I’ve been wondering what a match between Buakaw, the white lotus, the legendary k-1 champion who was responsible for bringing Muay Thai into the mainstream and Saenchai, who many consider to be the greatest Muay Thai fighter of all times, would look like, and THIS… is what I get… I fricking love it lmao.

Man, this made me laugh so hard. I mean, it's awesome to watch the pure joy and fun they have, while knowing they can pull this off because the amazing knowledge and control they have. Literally how they do every seemingly clumsy move is showing how good they really are. They are seamlessly and effortlessly reacting to every prank-move of each other in milliseconds so this fun-improvisation flows smooth and entertaining. Crazy hilarious! Legends!

This made my day, to see Buakaw who I have watched and followed ever since he came to K-1 and completely dominated his competition being this goofy and funny is absolutely epic, the fun and joy I see these two fighters share is truly inspiring and something the world really need a lot more of. Ive never seen Saenchai take more damage than in this video haha. Baukaw is a literal superman. The pinnacle of human fighting spirit, handsome, intelligent, kind, but also incredible ferocious. The way they are "sparring" looks like it hurts.
Because if you are best friends, and are fighters, you can crack shots and not worry about a fight breakin out. It all comes from love and a "halfway-leaving-the-conflict" energy.

buakaw is a way bigger guy, than saenchai. hes like 160lbs. almost 25-30lbs on saenchai, he can just walk through his shots. as he gets hit way harder by opponents in his weight division.

Two legends don't need to prove themselves to each other. Different ways in fighting but same passion and heart. Always been a fan of these two and seeing them in a sparring match like this is a muay thai enthusiasts dream
They look so happy while fighting, is obvious they are having fun
They may be "just" play-fighting, but even then, it takes up much energy.... the mutual respect is deep between them. Can't imagine a full-out fight .... these men are both champions and just without peer. LEGEND.
Back then i think Buakaw would win, he is larger, heavier much stronger but most importantly he know all of saenchai's tricks and isnt exactly a slouch himself.

That's for sure but another more scary thing is that if they go full fight for real it may well be career ending for one of them and buakaw is a lot stronger and larger and he knows all of saenchai's tricks AND he isnt exactly a slacker himself either when it comes to fighting.

You forgetting Saenchai won the Lumpinee title in four weight classes? Or that Buakaw was his own Lumpinee title and multiple K-1 titles? My god, I can't stop laughing, Buakaw is absolutely hilarious, I love watching him fight, and I also love watching him be comical, because he's just a good person, he's humble and he has a good sense of humor. Most people who do come from being poor growing up, then are usually the ones who has a good sense of humor and usually are humble, but there's some people who is the opposite, but not Buakaw or me, because I know how it feels growing up and being piss poor. I'd really like to meet him one day!
