Actually perfect scenario, everything is available, still new content, the camper cards are so cute and you get the premium monthly features for less then it would have cost per month, it's a steal
OMG hearing you can get items from past events was all i needed to know, im absolutely buying this game. i avoided it almost its whole lifespan, and now it is so worth it to me. im actually extremely excited, only nintendo would do this
"Will you be buying the game" YES. Day one. Love ACNH but I'm also a Day 1 pocket camp player. And, I've never spent a dime on the game before, so I do not feel bad about $10. The game has gotten me through some tough times over the last 7 years, including the death of my dad, so I'm so happy that I don't have to say goodbye to it anytime soon.
Finally the 1 million bells that I have accumulated are finally useful. I stopped playing pocket camp 3 years ago because I didn’t have a lot of leaf tickets to get the event items.
There is so much good about pocket camp I WISH they had added to new horizons. I just decorated my campsite for Halloween (with amazing decos, my villagers are riding witches broomsticks!) and I could just invite the spooky villagers with one click!
With 7 years of weekly events and sets of items, this one time payment is totally worth it! So happy they let us have an offline version after end of service and keep our progress while also allowing us to continue collecting all the item sets that were previously only attainable with leaf tickets (micro transactions). Definitely preordered!
The Friends feature has not just been limited to the market boxes-- we've been able to send gifts to each other daily, some with the fortune cookies, which gives clothing/items from the fortune cookies. That has been a big part of why I think it's continued in popularity. We've had communities through it, I've sent gifts back and forth with a few players over 400 times.
I started playing PC when it came out, but unfortunately, it became illegal in my country (Belgium) due to the lottery system. Being unable to buy leaf tickets made me stop playing it. To know that I will finally be able to play this again and get all the items I want makes me so happy! Definitely buying day one!
I've never actually played Pocket Camp, but this new version sounds great so I downloaded Pocket Camp just now and I'm gonna grind so I have some stuff to transfer over to the new one!!
Same here, and preordered the new version lol I have addictive tendencies and cannot let myself have “free to play” anything. But I always wanted the mobile fix of cuteness that is this game.
I heard you say something about bookshop in pocket camp and my mind immediately went to wishing that New Horizons or its next iteration had a bookstore or a library. I’d love to check out books or buy them and gift them to my villagers. Or recommend reads to them and then have them tell me if they hated it, etc. See the villagers or myself working at this place. Ugh the possibilities. Grab a book and read it at the Roost while you sip on your cup of coffee.
I got PC about 2.5 years ago. I did the happy helper trial then wanted to keep having my camper friend follow me around(only reason I fell into paying), so I'm most happy they added that as a base feature. Will be sad not to actually exchange gifts any more but it's nice the ghost NPCs of my friends will be there still. I thought they would be gone completely.
@@arian_motta That wasn't clarified. They just mentioned the "follow you around" part directly when talking about the Happy Helper still existing in the new game in some form. It makes me think probably not on the actually helping though since not mentioned.
Yes, I pre-ordered. I’ve played it when it came out and again while waiting for New Horizons. I remember making a room in the cabin with a Nintendo Switch on the table and a suitcase nearby, visualizing traveling to New Horizons on the Switch one day. And now we’re driving the other way: back to Pocket Camp. 😁
I’ve stopped playing with PC more than a year ago after finally getting a switch, cause I didn’t want to spend more money on that while I was concentrating on playing on console. This is what’s gonna make me go back to it. It’s crazy that I was spending the same amount of money most months for what’s now a full game, but I’m so happy they’ve made this decision and it’s gonna make me buy the first mobile game ever so that’s saying something.
Honestly, better than I could have imagined, and I’ll be buying it. It feels so bittersweet even though I keep taking big breaks. I played about a year consistently in I think 2023, question mark? Lmao I think it was 2023. Then it got stale for me so I stopped playing for around more or less than a year now. I really like that it’s an offline game too lmao, I can just boot it up when my power goes out and play whenever I’m bored
I’ve been playing Pocket Camp since its launch and never spent a penny of real money, yet still have some amazing items. I was so disappointed when they were ending service but so excited for the new version, and even better that I can transfer 7 years worth of collecting over to it! Roll on December 3rd! 😊
Been playing Pocket Camp for the last two months and I am $30 in only because I knew there was an offline version coming. I think the complete tickets aren't going to be easy to get and there's also so many fortune cookies and future ones coming where it will for sure take a new player a while to get what they would want if they like a lot of stuff. I never stuck with Pocket Camp though I played a few times in the past but now I'll be playing it until they stop updating the offline game at least. One thing that does concern me is that the irl time mechanic is not going away. Right now it takes 3 hrs for villagers to reset for new quests to pop in, furniture can take anywhere from 1 min to 20 hours and there is way to get that down lower in game but my issue is the tents. Tents have to be built to level up villagers and they go from 12x2 to 24x2 to 48x2 to 72x2 (x2 have to do it twice before the next tier) hrs and so on. It doesn't sound like a big deal until you realize that each personality has their own tent to level up so I'm hoping they cut that time in half or the currency to speed up crafting the furniture is super easy to obtain. Asides from my concern of how the time system will work (if they will even adjust that), I think $10 is a wonderful price! Will probably spend a bit more before the live version goes away though haha I think it would be interesting if you made future videos on the games and how you're progressing so I hope you'll post updates on your game/safe file! :D
I find it weird that Nintendo and other people would tell us to create a nintendo account and to make sure to link it so everything transfers, as if 99% of players didnt already do that on day 1 of playing pocket camp.
You can earn leaf tickets in pocket camp without paying real money, it takes ages but I have 820 leaf tickets and have never spent real money on the game.
Thanks for doing this video on ACPC, Pat! I originally played PC only long enough to get the items for ACNH and didn’t touch it again until a year ago after I had surgery and was off my feet for three months. I was bored and missed AC, saw ACPC on my phone so started playing it again and have played regularly every day since! I was sad when they announced it was shutting down and now am thrilled after seeing the features of the new PC Complete! I have had it connected to my Nintendo online account for a year and have already pre-ordered the new game and am looking forward to moving my progress over to it! This game has so many good items and the different layouts and terrains are amazing!!! Right now there are lots of spooky Halloween items available! You would enjoy it, Pat!
I played Pocket Camp everyday from the week it released until the day New Horizons released. I was so excited waiting for ACNH, thinking that features in PC, like how the villagers interact with items, the array of adorable items with which they had to interact, all the different flowers from gardening events, would be in the new mainline game. I'm still so disappointed that none of that happened. I haven't been playing ACNH for a good while, but recently picked PC up again, when I learned about the online version shutting down. It's been great fun! Interesting that I started on US Thanksgiving day in 2017 (it actually released on my birthday, November 21) and it will wrap up on US Thanksgiving day, this year. The thing I will miss the most from the online version is being able to visit other players' campsites. I will for sure be buying PC Complete.
That was a good sell for the game. Only played Pocket Camp for like a week but I am definitely going to get this one. I feel like the way of earning leaf tokens through playing the game is a lot like the Nook Miles. Also the collecting friend cards is a way of getting the perks of knowing other people that play it without asking, "Hey can you come water my flowers?" Every! Day! I would love to see this set a new standard for mobile games / returning to the roots of mobile games. I feel like the price point is really smart as well.
I actually transferred Pocket Camp to my Nintendo account yesterday after the announcement. And will be purchasing it on or before Dec 3rd. I’ve played on and off over the last 7 years because of the cost and was a member of the club for nearly a year. Can’t wait for the game to be released. ❤😊
At first, when they Announced they're gonna shut down PocketCamp, i was quite shocked and very sad, cus I'm playing it since 2019, i love this mobile game, it even is my Only Mobile i ever played. So yeah, I'm really dependent on it kind of (dealing with bad illness and stuff) always distracted me, loved the events. My first fear was, (when they Announced the shut down) that it will be gone forever, but also just an empty Game with nothing else to do or to looking forward to something. So i was very worried. But when today, i have woked up, and watched the Trailer, i actually cried lol, because i was so relieved and glad. So, yes i will gonna buy it 🤎
I am pre registered to buy it I love Pocket Camp so much and this is awesome. I panicked yesterday because I only saw 28th and thought it was too late to transfer my data but I am linked to my Nintendo account because I play it on two devices anyway so XD Yeah I am super excited. When ACNH started to feel like I've done everything, I played it even more and regulary. I am so happy the presents with the cookies will stay in the game!!
im excited that theyre putting in this much effort for a game that they couldve just abandoned and shut off but ngl im pretty sad that i cant buy the sanrio stuff anymore. i couldnt afford it during the last recent event but if i knew i never wouldve had another chance to EVER get them, i wouldve just made it work and bought them
Absolutely. I’ve already pre-ordered it! I’ve started playing it again when they first announced the shut down date and new app… one thing that no one is talking about is that, they’re adding new events and items until September 2025… that is interesting🤨🧐
I already prepaid for it in the Apple App store! I love Pocket Camp but quit after a while because it was expensive with all of the microtransactions. And then I got ACNH because of no microtransactions! Glad they are changing this.
I'm excited for the new game. I wasn't really playing Pocket Camp steadily...I hooked it up to my account to get the crossover items for New Horizons when that event happened. Then when the announcement came out, I started playing every day so I would have enough of a presence to transfer something worthwhile. Looking forward to getting the fish hat that I saw on a friend and been wanting it ever since. Let's go!
Thanks, Pat, wonder if you could address a question that those of us who have Pocket Camp but never played it much have…is there stuff I should be buying now to enhance the game before Dec 3? And could you show us what and how to do that😂?
And also use up your friends only gifts if you have friends to gift, also if you connect your Nintendo account to Pocketcamp you can friend them and add them to your friends if you are into that sort of thing. Also don't fill up marketplace a few days til deadline unless you have regulars who come shopping.
Interesting approach of preserving a mobile game, Nintendo. Hope Mario Kart Tour does this if gets fully taken down have a “Mario Kart Tour: Complete” so it continue’s to exist forever.
I never bothered to play Pocket Camp because my phone wasn't smart enough to handle it. I don't know if the one I have now is either. But I would like to try it.
I definitely think $10 for this game and the full catalog is fantastic, considering Pocket Camp Club could easily be $10-12 monthly if you joined all levels. Even $20 is worth two months of play for the "hardcore" fans. Very glad they're losing microtransactions, and honestly surprised, they were basically printing money with how much cute content was constantly circulating. Even if I only binge on the game for a couple weeks and then forget it for months, it's always nice to come back to, and it'll be good to not feel like I have to re-sub for all my lost features whenever that happens.
I've been playing ACPC for years now, and can't wait to buy ACPC Complete. I did the math just for fun; I've spent about 24¢ a day since Pocket Camp was released. For me, it's been worth it.
I don’t get why Nintendo wasn’t able to make ACNH as simple to transfer our islands to a new Switch. Both signed into same NSO account transfer should be just as simple without needing that island transfer app thing
This is perfect for me. I didn't play it bc I am against micro transactions. 20€ seems like nothing compared to what you would spend if you wanted all the items. The 10€ offer is amazing, I'll be sure to buy it as soon as it is available so I don't miss it.
I have a question: is it available to buy? I saw people in the US that said they already bought it (pre-release, of course). I live in Brazil and I can't find the option to buy it at all, only pre-register
I have both platforms iOS and Android and was cross trading. I have a lot of items and have already pre-ordered both accounts which is an option. This is perfect solution way to go Nintendo 🎉
@@feIon this was only 12 minutes though, I'm talking about a 25 to 35 minute one. In fact, animal crossing complete would probably be at the very beginning before the big new horizons stuff.
Because its a complete game for $10 instead of a free game with tons of grabs for micro transactions. Get everything for a one time fee instead of multiple fees.
Me I don't buy the game because 1.before the game was so good 🎉2. Because they They're going to make people buy a €20 game ON MOBILE (IT'S EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MINECRAFT ON MOBILE!!!!!!!). But they do that, to the FIRST FREE ANIMAL CROSSING MOBILE GAME 😡! This was the first animal crossing game i played this was so cool... After that they going to regret, i hope they are going to add a mobile ac game soon...
I'll probably buy it. The thing I'm more on the fence about is whether or not I actually want to transfer my save data.. I loved playing this game the first couple of years! Collecting villagers, collecting items, collecting furniture. But at some point I had SO MUCH STUFF, I became overwhelmed with the sheer amount of furniture I had every time I wanted to redecorate my campsite... If I don't transfer, I can start with a clean slate, enjoy the collecting again. The simplicity of some lay-outs. On the other hand, there are a lot of wonderful items I have earned by slowly and painfully gathering leaf tickets in game, that I kind of want to keep.. OOF! Have some thinking to do!
I wasn't super sold on the camper cards cause I'm not super active with other people that play and don't know if I'll specifically go looking for random people to add. I also don't know how I feel about the new currency. I almost never spent money on pocket camp but always found I had enough leaf tickets for things I wanted... so idk, seems like its pretty much going to be the same for people that played the original game free. Curious if you'll get enough to be ok speeding up crafts and whatnot. For $10 of course I'm going to get it and see how it goes... I hadn't touched the game in years but picked it up again when they announced its end. I've been enjoying it a lot because I can use all my items guilt free lol Side note though - the pacing of the nintendo video killed me. it was SO SLOW. had to watch it at 1.25x speed hahahaha
I will be buying this game ➡
But will you be buying Animal Crossing New Horizons Complete on Switch 2 🤡
Yay! I kind of want to see you play it. It looks like a cute game!

I don’t get why Nintendo wasn’t able to make ACNH as simple to transfer our islands to a new Switch. Both signed into same NSO account transfer should be just as simple without needing that island transfer app thing
I only downloaded Pocket Camp so I could get the campsite sign in ACNH. Might give it a try now there's no micro transactions.
I pre-registered and preordered the game the minute the video last night finished.
Already paid ! Excited to start from scratch! Sounds pretty neato!
I will definitely buy it. I played it so much and the game without micro transactions sounds like a dream ❤
I will be buying the one time payment! I really didn’t like how we originally have to buy things on the free app
What does everyone think:
Will we be able to screen shot our “player” cards and posting them to make online friends…?
This is perfect for me. I didn't play it bc I am against micro transactions. 20€ seems like nothing compared to what you would spend if you wanted all the items. The 10€ offer is amazing, I'll be sure to buy it as soon as it is available so I don't miss it.
I will be buying Pocket Camp Complete, I've been playing since day 1 and the features they added there makes it more fun and replayable to play.
I have a question: is it available to buy? I saw people in the US that said they already bought it (pre-release, of course). I live in Brazil and I can't find the option to buy it at all, only pre-register
Hm what if, because it is offline now, will time traveling work?
I probably won’t buy this game.. who knows though if I ever get bored with Pokemon Go lol
I have both platforms iOS and Android and was cross trading. I have a lot of items and have already pre-ordered both accounts which is an option. This is perfect solution way to go Nintendo 🎉
Damn I wish this was coming to the switch.
I think it's worth it I like to play a few times a day, just going to miss the friends gift giving i still have a lot of gifts 🎁 😂
im wondering if there do the same for new horizons by transfer our items to the name game? it be cool but same time id like to start a whole new game
I’ll be buying it. I’ve played it for years.
GREAT! I re downloaded the game and will probably buy the new one and transfer this. Lol, I haven't been on her in like 2 years.
I pre-ordered it.
I’m hoping to get this game if I can buy it! I have the original game now so we’ll see! 😊🤞🏼
i have never played pocket camp but i'm interested and waiting! lol
Is it worth it to get this if you're gonna start a new account?
I think this just an appetizer and a small portion of an immenant animal crossing direct.
technically this kinda was an animal crossing direct lol
@@feIon this was only 12 minutes though, I'm talking about a 25 to 35 minute one. In fact, animal crossing complete would probably be at the very beginning before the big new horizons stuff.
I pre-registered for the game.
yes will get it again!!
I played for 3 years and then stepped away for 4 years because of the micro-transactions. This announcement brought me back.
Pocket Camp for free bored me. I'm certain I don't want to pay for it when there are great games out there that I want to spend my cash on 😅
Do you think we'll get some of the items to acnh?
Think I’m one of the few who hate this game. They need to scrap it and spend time focusing on Acnh. Cant understand why they drop it.
I think it's nonsense if you already have it for free why close it and put it up for sale if it's the same game but improved
Because its a complete game for $10 instead of a free game with tons of grabs for micro transactions. Get everything for a one time fee instead of multiple fees.
I have already preordered!
Super cute! Looks fun!
i MIGHT actually get it this time! lol
No they didn't, they told us about this ages ago
This is not new news
good video
I wasn't super sold on the camper cards cause I'm not super active with other people that play and don't know if I'll specifically go looking for random people to add. I also don't know how I feel about the new currency. I almost never spent money on pocket camp but always found I had enough leaf tickets for things I wanted... so idk, seems like its pretty much going to be the same for people that played the original game free. Curious if you'll get enough to be ok speeding up crafts and whatnot.
For $10 of course I'm going to get it and see how it goes... I hadn't touched the game in years but picked it up again when they announced its end. I've been enjoying it a lot because I can use all my items guilt free lol
Side note though - the pacing of the nintendo video killed me. it was SO SLOW. had to watch it at 1.25x speed hahahaha

You lying!!!! 😅
