- This is my build video of my Reptile S800. I got a lot of inspiration from ghe TBS Caipirinha.

Balsa elevons
Alu control horns

T-Motor F80 (2408) 2200kv
Racerstar bl_heli s 32bit 52a ESC with integrated telemetry

This has to be one of the cleanest builds I've ever seen? Granted I've only
seen 40-50 so far, this one has extra care in the craftsmanship & I do mean
in every aspect of the build..... Fantastic job & it shows me what can be in
the days ahead as I enter the building phase. Wow is all I can say... lol

You buy balsa and cut them to shape 😊

I'm going to build one of these for the first time but my question is should I use a receiver with stabilization inside the receiver? Or should I set it up with an Omnibus flight controller with inav to get the gyro on there? I don't know which would be better for this thanks

I'm still having issues getting my S800 flying, now a servo went out. OMG!!!!
That sucks.. what kind of problems are you having with yours?
@@ChristianoMoe I'm using the matek f722 STD and matek hub 6s PDB with the connection harness going to the FC from the PDB. I got servo 3 power, ground and signal going to S4 on the PDB and the servo are not working. Servo 4 works, they are new servos. I don't know what the problem is.
@@derrickmitchell39dm I'd ditch the flight controller and slap in a Kopilot Lite. Plug and play and you'll have RTH failsafe. All you need for mid range flights. Granted you need a fpv cam with vsense so you can see your voltage.

Does it fly at all? Beautiful but not practical. First baby landing and the winglets will come off.

Thank you! Bought the airframe from Banggood. The rest is bought localy.
@@ChristianoMoe I just bought an S800 frame as well and I have TBS Crossfire and Eagle tree Vector....I want to get the same ailerons, horns etc..,..can you detail the place and parts where you got things, please?
@@flytelaw1 I bought them from my local hobby shop here in Norway. Just buy some balsa wood with the same height as your trailing edge and cut them with a sharp snap razor. Laminate with a laminate iron after cutting

You buried the GPS under the battery lead?
Yes, it doesn't create any interference so why not 😎

@@Nick-xe2hu I have tested various GPS locations in my +30 builds. A good quality GPS doesn't have problems with power wires. I get 16-19 sats in this configuration. Carbon fiber is a whole different story though.. Carbon blocks a lot of signal.

Du kan evt kjøpe en Caipirinha v2 selvsagt, men mer artig å bygge noe eget :) Kanskje en AR Wing?

Shoulda taken the extra time and shown exactly how you programmed inav but whatever.. i know how but it would be a more complete build video for others
No point, It's been done like 1000 times allready 😊 Inav hsve got a s800 profile too. Hard to screw that one up!

Ya ur not wrong especially since ya has gotten a lot easier in the last few updates especially.. plus there are people out there who have shared their CLI settings.. still tho sick video good job 👍🏼
