How convenient that the phone died before I won my second game in the last set👀. But definitely by the end of the first set I ran out of steam and couldn't keep up the footwork with the groundstrokes following suit. Was fun will try again if the opportunity arrives.
My broken left wrist is still healing so I was thinking of hitting one-handed, too. I can do it if I am comfortable and not rushed, but that happens only rarely in a match. But, when I hit it solid, I feel I can hit it as hard as my forehand. Anyway, unfortunately, it's too cold and wet for me to get out there and hit. Oh, well.. Well done for you to get the win under the circumstances! Your one-hander did start looking better in the second set, but your two-hander is very sweet. I hope you don't overdo it with your two-hander and end up doing more damage, though... I think you are doing the right thing trying to come into the net and finish off points in a partial unserious match. You never know but perhaps getting some experience doing that will pay dividends down the line...
How common is this? I just broke a bone in my non dominant wrist 6 weeks ago and because I'm so tennis addicted, I've continued to play tennis and have just been hitting 1 handed back hands.
Brings back memories of me learning OHB in high school after breaking my wrist on a footwork drill. You probably need to hit at least 1000 OHB's before you get comfortable with it. If you are going to play in a tournament soon and your left wrist is still busted, I say go for it! You might want to mix in slices as well to take some pressure off.
Appreciate the feedback though. Hopefully my next few videos will be more of your speed :) But would be great to know what made this match more gimmicky than my other videos! This was like many of my other videos where I just play a friend or another local tennis player. No stakes.
Eh, he hurt his wrist so he’s playing modified because he has to not necessarily because he wants to. Still some great hitting! i think this match is valuable cause it goes to show how many tennis players there are out there that don’t play league and are still playing at a very high level.

Should I give up on hitting a one hander?

You've done some great videos but videos like this are a v gimmicky and not really worth watching. I stopped watching after 4 mins
