    Yes. What does could an Elevator and Escalator Maintainer possibly be doing for a living? Baking pizza perhaps?

    145 street on the IND Eighth ave line needs one, because it’s broken ever other day.

    Elevators and Escalators maintainers are good at working hard for the MTA, even if it’s accessible for all customers on subways only. 😀

    Apparently nobody has inspected the Jamaica Center/Parsons Archer terminus on the E/J line. The escalator leading to the street ALWAYS makes unusual and loud noises. Maybe that's the job of the MTA Loud & Unusual Noise Inspector?

    I would think that everyone except the terminally daft would be able to answer that one.
    No doubt the MTA finds it so much more exciting making silly films rather than carry out more mundane but rather more pressing tasks. The money spent on this poorly acted and scripted nonsense could have gone some way towards elevator repairs or improvements to bus services for example.
    But don't worry......we see public authorities wasting our taxes in exactly the same way here in the UK. 'Free' money from the taxpayer encourages behaviour like this!

    • @TheRailLeaguer
      @TheRailLeaguer 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Martin_in_the_UK This did not cost a lot of money to make.
      Also, every other transit system in the world gets to make videos about their behind the scenes work, so why not NY?
