I thought it was just wind noise. Wind noise in my videos sounds like bad static. I guess when you hit those speeds it's a little cooler. More "melodic".
Why isn,t this DH course used in the season proper. It a true down hill track, No flats or uphills. Downhill racing is not base on ones endurance, it a skill v fear factor that make racing like this super exciting and sort out the man for the boys. That what downhill racing is all about. Watch how many races are lost to the most skilled downhillers due to enduro section in the track ( Flat & uphill section) also it going to cost you $15 per race to watch because Red bull as lost the rights Now GCN have the rights. Plus no one can call a race like Rob. For the viewer I fear this will not be an exciting year.

I think it is the wind whipping across the GoPro’s microphone. You don’t hear it till he’s right out of the gate because the walls around the start
