so thankfull for the video. the picture at 3:48 finally confirmed why my emblem won't twist. I bought an a45 with the grille and could not figure out what to do.
Thanks for the video! It helped me install a GT R grill on my '18 GLA 45 AMG. This is a great appearance mod that's well worth the effort and $. It makes the front of the car much more aggressive - a look that that better fits its character.
Recently just bought myself an A45 and had the exact same issue with the silver 🤢 this video helped a lot with the change over, great video lads!

One question I have is regarding the GLA45 2014. The Badge, the lower part of thdd we’d badge, not the ing that surrounds it is pushed back by 2-3mm.
Only small but annoying, dies the whole grill/bumper need to come off to push that fwd?
I so want that!!!!

Lovely, have been thinking of fitting my A45 with the same grill! Doesn’t look like a difficult replacement! How long did this take you? Do you think this could be done on the driveway without a ramp?
Not too difficult at all, the most difficult part is just the plastic clips that hold the grille in place 😅 they really do a good job of holding the grille on haha. It took maybe an hour, and definitely achievable on a drive way. Only used the lift for the underbody panels. Feel free to comment here if you have any more questions 😊
Do you have distronic? A Bodyshop quoted me £553 to fit a new grille due to distronic

Where did u get the grill
BTW I'm some what of expert on mbux the headunit how everything is wired from Augmented reality etc I've did extensive research and have all mercedes dealer software as well which helps. I'll be adding to channel soon I get my parts I'll make video depending which comes 1st the car or parts 😆 if anyone needs help regarding ntg6 or even 7. I'm knowledgeable about all the boards inside the headunit too and even vulnerabilities found in the software stack. This is for project B & guess anyone else has questions

Where can I buy the grill
Bought one of these grills for my CLA 45.
Garage is refusing to fit it as I would need my radar recalibrated at a cost of £400 did you guys encounter this problem?
We didn’t encounter this problem at all, not too sure what the shop is talking about.
how about the sensor behind the front badge? Did that need to be recalibrated or somethign? Didnt see how you took off the badge and put it back on ..

Yeah definitely transforms the look of the car and sets it apart. But the new cla and a 35’s and 45’s seem like absolute beasts! Will definitely have to get my hands on one 😍

Nope the factory badge works with the grille
I took my bumper off my crash damaged a class, it was perfect and now it wont allign

Hi guys, so the W177 Pan American grill will fit exactly into a W176 A45?
Not too sure about the w177 grille specifically, however you can buy the same grille style made as a direct replacement for the w176 bumper
