- Quick update video on the C10 drag truck. Lots has been going on behind the scenes with the project so here is what i have been up to over the last few months.

Good to know you’re doing well and doing business.
All the windows (except windshield) are a smoke tint Lexan, in my 69 C10 (planning to swap it from a twin turbo 572 to turbo diesel 5th wheel hauler next). For the windows/vent windows, you can pull the window and trace it onto Lexan or trace the opening then add 1/8 of an inch for the sides that fit into a frame. Use urithaine to glue it back in; the felt/rubber is hard to work with and almost never seals correctly. When removing the vents, just don't hit or apply sharp pressure to the edge; the glass will shatter (also an issue when using the felt or rubber). Not only have I built the "Big Sexy 69" but I used to own an auto glass shop; helped when building the truck and other cars. Let me know if you want or need more help and/or details. I will do what I can to help.

Doing the wing windows in lexan is just as easy. Use the 3/16" lexan and adjust the thickness of the packing accordingly. Spray the packing with wd-40 and slip it all into the metal channel. Wd-40 makes the packing swell up. To drill a hole for the lock, drill the lexan with a piece of metal behind it and as the bit barely pokes through flip it over and finish drilling from the back. Anyhow that's how I used to do it when I worked in glass but im sure there are many other ways to do it as well. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Note for the signal pain glass window coming from a that worked with glass in the door more of a risk of breaking when you close your door id go with lexan
I made my vent windows lexan too. Its for a mustang so idk if its the same. But of you drop out the trim with the glass you can separate it and put 3/16 lexan back on original trim. Takes some time but worth it imo
