I never even HEARD of Amber before this situation blew up, I thought Johhny was just burnt out from being Jack Sparrow so long, judging from his performance in the last Pirates film. Now, I can only hope somehow he gets out of this mess.
As soon as I heard that about this situation when Johnny was being blamed, it stuck awkwardly in my mind. It just didn't feel right. Most stories of abuse, it just slips into your brain, but this one struck me as odd. Johnny wasn't trying to defend 'his actions', everyone was throwing sand in the air blaming him and it just felt off.
As soon as I heard the audio, I knew I was right. But people didn't want to comprehend the other side because a 'woman was being abused'. Typically when there is this sort of accusation being thrown about, both sides will try to be heard.
