    Excellent informative video. My tank has had a bad outbreak of white spot in the past 7 days. I initially tried the heat and salt method and it was not working at all. I was worried about using chemicals because of my plants/shrimps and snails but your video explained the Love Fish White Spot treatment was fine to use with all three so I bought some from Pets At Home and the treatment is working well within 48 hours of me dosing the tank! Subbed!

    Great video FishPie, nice to see content again. The tank is looking great. I too have a pair of german blue rams, fantastically colourful fish, together with the usual stock, fighter, angelfish, gouramis, rasbora and my new additions, dwarf neon rainbows. Look forward to more videos in 2020. Cheers

    Thank you so much for this video! This brand is the one one available at my closest pet shop and wasn't sure if it was any good or if I would be better off venturing further away to a specialist fish store for an alternative but didn't really want to do that with the current situation so I am more confident getting this product. Thank you!

    I was recommended this by the staff at Pets At Home, not sure if this is the right treatment for my fish. My rams have sunken bellies and one of them stays in the top corner of the tank :/ it doesn't look like white spot but I feel maybe I should have got some anti-bacterial treatment instead? Or do you think this one will help? Thank you :)

      Unless it’s something really obvious in a ram they are notorious hard to treat. The only thing I’ve ever managed to treat on them is white spot. If you don’t see the spots I’m not sure why they would recommend it. Can you go back and ask?

    • @MissGlassButterfly
      @MissGlassButterfly 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bramas1950 I didn’t notice mine get Misty but I wouldn’t panic. As long as you dosed correctly and if possible remove carbon from your filter (it neutralises the meds) then you should be ok. How Misty is it? Like a bit or a lot. When you re dose it in the 4 day time period you do a big water change anyway before treating again. And once the treatment is over so I’m sure long term your water won’t be bad. When I finished the treatment I did a change and added some more quick start. Hope it helps. Failing that I’d google stuff.

      @FishPieTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the blue does dissipate over time, and I did a water change after day 7, only like 15% as I used it in a 240 litre tank. You want to keep the fish as stable as possible as you treat white spot so it doesn’t come back

I’m wanting to change my substrate, I was going to do this but now I’ve seen white spot on 2 of my new pentazona barbs, which aren’t orange like my others when I got them, maybe I should’ve known with the colour they’d be carrying something? • @FishPieTV
      @FishPieTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      With tanks you want to do everything slowly, changing the substrate is a big deal for a fish to endure and you’ll likely go through a bit of a mini cycle, I’d give it more like 4 weeks before doing anything

    • @FishPieTV
