    Wow! Thank you for posting. I found these ALL OVER my little floating "log". I think I'll make some brackish water, stick the log in, and see what happens! :D Love it!

    It means you water parameters are great. I have a large Dempsey that lays eggs in a 55 gal tank every 3 to 4 weeks religiously. I also have Nerites. Never had the eggs until the Nerites.

    Angelfish will seriously take care of their eggs and offspring. Fun and somewhat easy to do, just make sure you have sand and not a rock bottom. They burrow when they get a few weeks old and u dont want that. Thet burrow down in the rock and cant get out and die. But! These arent angelfish eggs. I dunno what they are. They just popped up in my tank, too. I have mystery snails, no Corey cats. Hopefully someone has a convincing answer. Good luck, good post!

    I jave 5 snails in my tank which are all the same but not long after I got them I got loads of these white dots in my tank and I mean about a 100 and a fee weeks later they are baby snails...the white dots are the eggs...I think. But out of nowhere I found a totally different species shuffling across the gravel....my original snails were the round classic snails shape but out of nowhere I've found one that is ice cream cone shaped...it must have been on a plant I bought....I've also found out they can breed all on their own and don't need a partner....I think when all the babies are big enough to pick up without killing them I will take them all out....but by that time they will all probably have layer eggs themselves and I will have to keep repeating the process....I might see if aquariums want them

    I have a lot of these in my tank, I had two ramshorn snails and a zebra snail. All the sudden I got a bunch of new small ramshorns swimming around my tank

    This video is 5 years old so obviously I'm guessing by now you found out those white dots on the glass were newly hatched Snails. I have them now too and they came here on an aquarium plant I ordered on Ebay. I noticed a small clear gel like sack on one of the plant leaves with tiny white dots inside the clear sack. As soon as I put it in the tank water with the air bubbler and mini filter running the next day those white dots that were in the clear sack were on the tank walls. You can barely see them but I whipped out the magnifying glass to get a better look at them and sure enough they are really really tiny miniature snails that slowly move along the glass. Just no shell on their backs yet. How the heck do I make brackish water for them? They've been alive in my small 3.5 gallon tank that is set up just normally nothing special and seem to still be alive so i dunno what i should do to the water.

    They r some kind of algae. They have to be removed by increasing the temperature and water change every 3 days. Just wipe the glass everytime before u do water change so that it wont multiply more

    i just saw some baby snails in my guppy fry tank. i think maybe my snail was pregnant and laid eggs in the plants that i transferred from my main aquarium to the guppy fry tank... bc idk how else the baby snails got in there LOL.

      Thank you.. it's been a great while since I have updated this page.. I have determined them to be eggs of some sort.. nothing has hatched.. the waters not brackish so I'm sure they wouldn't..

  • @KuroFexiks
    @KuroFexiks 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I have the same problem! there's also some tiny tinnnny white things floating in the water, if you stare enough, they do a quick jerking moving to propel themselves while swimming
    Did you find out what this is? is it harmful? could it be due to overfeeding?

    • @canwetalkabouttanks7993
      @canwetalkabouttanks7993  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Same thing iv seen.. I’m thinking they are detritus worms.. not sure exactly.. but a few good gravel vacs and cutting down on feeding seems to manage the problem.. but I get these worms every I add new fish

      @@canwetalkabouttanks7993 Oh! I see!
      for my tank, I found out the little tiny things that move in jerking motion are called Cyclops.
      They're good for your aquarium.
