    Nice clear explanations, thanks for the video.
    I think that one reason manufacturers hide the screws on the air filter, cover the underside of the engine bay etc is to deter the average motorist from diy servicing. Make a job look far more complex than it needs to be so they can justify the prices they charge.

    Спасибо за отличное видео. В прошедший выходной поменял масло, с этим проблем не было. Замену воздушного фильтра пока отложил так как было непонятно как снимать его корпус. Теперь вопросов нет. 👍

    Please what is your oil change interval? Is this oil right for me? I drive 15k km a year in the center of Europe.

    • @TheKeenMechanic
      @TheKeenMechanic  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi
      You can check with your local dealer to see what they recommend.
      I have family in Europe where it gets 40 degrees in the summer and they use 5w-40 or 5w-30 same as this in the video.
      I normally change the oil at 5k miles or 8k km
      Here in the UK is recommended 0w-20, 5w-30 or 0w-30
      Hope this helps

      @@callumkidd723 Hi
      I do a rough check 1st, then start the engine for a few seconds, then let it settle on a flat surface and then check proper oil level. Generally if you know your engine oil capacity and oil filter capacity roughly you can always get it very close🤝🏻

      @@samsamikko Good man. Dealerships are very expensive and dishonest at times. I paid a lot of money for a job they didn't do at all 15 years ago and this is how my mechanicing journey started. By the way I can highly recommend Wurth and Norbar torque wrenches. I have 5 of them, all different sizes. You can get good deals on ebay sometimes so keep an eye on them🤝

      I like to use soapy water if very dusty then I dry the parts with compressed air and apply WD-40. I use brake cleaner if the parts are oily or greasy then the same process as above.

    How often should the fuel filter of that model be changed?

    • @TheKeenMechanic
      @TheKeenMechanic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi
      You can decide depending on the region you live and quality of fuel. Some people change every 10000km some go with 60000km
      You can decide what suits you best and may be start more frequently, then open and check the filter element and see if you need to do it more often or less frequently. The manufacturers schedules are only a guide. Do it yourself so you know it is done and done right
