- Fundamental analysis is often overlooked by the 'stock trading' community due to its complexity, yet combining such analysis with the chart (technical analysis) has such a huge impact on overall performance.
With the growth of technology, finding Fundamental analysis is far easier than it used to be and there is no excuse for it to be ignored, the truth is that such ignorance can only be excused with laziness.

@@FinancialWisdom it would be interesting if there was ever a breakout ETF. Fundamental analysis would have a strong correlation to quality and value as it would have a lower price to book and stronger balance sheets to peers . As a benchmark we should be benchmarking to factor funds like Avantis or Dimensional or OMFL if you focus on US large-caps

Will a software package that simply re-tabulates the figures in a user-friendly chart not miss the slights of hand from a trick-smart CFO??
Possibly, but at least you will have a shortlist to interrogate further, as opposed to 6000+ statements to look through 😉

That with breakouts work pretty well. Although I think breakout trading is probably just exposure to momentum factor and then fundamental analysis is just exposure to value factor.
Obviously you haven't watched his older videos talking about it. All successful traders have studied the prior successful ones and based their strategies on theirs.
Fundamentals could be quality or value, you can have a very expensive (low value) high Quality company etc
