    I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

      Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional

      I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.

    Smaller, speculative stocks have endured a historically weak stretch. Investors are betting that a turnaround is finally in the works. I’ve lost about $320k within a few months, how do i take advantage of the market turnaround?

    The summary of books series is fantastic. I have a pointed question in the way draw down is mentioned in the current video using Monte Carlo simulation. The problem with this is that there is an inherent assumption that after loosing series of trades we have entered winning portion. In actual case it is possible that after say 10 trade loosing streak one can have one or two winners and again one can have a 9 trade loosing sequence. This will actually create bigger draw downs. So ideally one should find out actual draw downs in the Monte Carlo equity curve itself.

Position size max risk total = 10%, assume 2% risk per trade and after calculation in total we only use 40% from equity and the rest is in usd, What do we do with the remaining funds? And the measurement is total equity of all balance in all instrument?

    2% risk does not give you a lot of choice of stocks to trade. NFLX, NVDA or TSLA is out of the question. You probably be looking at something that move less than $2 ATR daily move. Good luck 🤙🏼

    • @AaronETrades
      @AaronETrades 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think you understand what is meant by 2% risk. It means you only lose 2% of your account if you hit your stop loss. Here is an example using NVDA on the daily chart. 9/1 through 9/26 we had a bull flag. 9/27 it closed above the upper trend line and we enter the trade at 424.60 at the open the following day. The stop loss would be at 409.75, just under the swing low of 409.80 on 9/21. Let's say your account is $10,000. 2% risk is $200. So your position size is 13 shares (risk in dollars divided by (entry price minus stop loss)).

    3:28 the example is broken. you mean to say, your risk is 10% and you expect the stock to move 20% for trade that is worth the risk? total illusion.

    If there is a single strategy that works reliability most of the time we could have seen it as the only tool in the matket and every single trader would have been using it to make money. That of course defies the very law of stock trading.the zero net law...profits from trading is not due to wealth generation but due to the loss of others...it is exactly how money is mad 14:25 in a casino
