    Thank you everybody for the clarifications! I don't really know too much about redstone, and after making the video I did see mumbo jumbos video on the topic. However, I honestly wanted to make a video on it either way, because I found it interesting, and wanted to explore it. I try to drive my videos to a sense of exploration, where the viewers learn about the topic with me. You can see an example from this in my end video, as in the beginning I wouldn't cut out the bits that we would learn something about the mod. Anyway, I appreciate all of your help, and I plan to keep everything in mind if I make another redstone video.

    so basically we got a t flip flop block in Minecraft. this is gonna make red stone contraptions so much smaller

      Exactly
      But I don't see the use of the doors just add enough delay so you'll have time to get in or out
      Why would you need to keep a door open?

    • @NA-xb6xu
      @NA-xb6xu 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@hillelmalul6278Several reasons, actually!
      1) Just extending the pulse is often bulky or complicated and may delay the opening
      2) Just extending the pulse keeps the door shut for a set amount of time, you might want to close it ASAP instead (say, you're being chased)
      3) A memory curcuit like a t flip flop can be locked with a lever on the inside, preventing it from opening when you don't want it to
      4) You might just want to keep it open! For example, you're transporting a villager inside your base with a boat, and don't wanna be squished by the door closing

      @@hillelmalul6278t flip flops have a lot more use than just doors

      @@bridgerparker4275 I completely understand, but to a new redstoner, I wanted to choose something that most people could want to utilize, so I chose a door. In reality a t-flip flop can go into anything, I just chose a door since its more well known.

    You can actually place the copper bulb directly under the block with the button, and power the door directly.
    Also, you can use the fact that dirt becomes "transparent" when you shovel it, you can place a redstone torch under it, and a redstone dust or repeater next to it.

    You found the CopFlop.....aka the CopperFlopper

  • @Bombasticpik
    @Bombasticpik 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Yeah one of my biggest problems is with levers on 2 way iron doors. Buttons always just were too quick but now that there's a 1 block T flip flop early game I might actually use iron doors. And to anyone on hard mode, that'll be good for zombies.

    Just so you know, the copper lamp doesn't have four stages, it just turns off when powered while on, not when power is taken. Sorry if this is confusing

    • @TR_uploads
      @TR_uploads 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      To simplify, it toggles when power is given to it.

    Really??? Says we might not understand redstone but can’t name a t-flip flop or understand that a comparator job is to compare. He is right about one thing though the copper bulb is a really great addition to redstone components. Now just learn the basic. I’m in no way a redstone master but dang if you’re going to make a video please do some research first.

      I do understand what you mean, but maybe next time read the pinned comment where I address exactly what this comment is talking about. I'm no redstone master either. I only made the video because I found it interesting and wanted to learn about it, nothing more. And to be fair this isn't a tutorial video and I never said that I knew everything about redstone anywhere in this video, just that this is a really cool feature. Thank you! :D

      @@Pr3fix that’s what I’m saying though. You obviously want to make TH-cam videos so don’t do it halfway. Content is what most TH-camrs provide and although you tried your video has none. You could have done some research and taught somebody something or maybe not. They might know it already but I’m pretty sure that if you say something that the person that knew it will more than likely to watch another video of yours. Also I might be an exception but I don’t read the pinned comments.

    whats the animation mod/recourse your using? I thought i was seeing stuff

    • @Pr3fix
      @Pr3fix  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The resource packs I use go along side the mods optifine (forge), or EMF (fabric). I am using the fresh animations and fresh moves texture packs to give every entity better animations. However I also use the Not enough animations mod for other things such as hand animations.
