I just went through all your P5 Mate videos after researching this online today. You are very thorough, and answer all the questions and concerns anyone would think to ask. My question is this: if I just want to use a DualShock 4 on the PS5 with PS5 games, do I need the P5 Mate? Because it looks like the Cronus Zen can emulate this already, if I am correct (and they are both the same price, but Zen has more functionality, including Bluetooth). I just am not up to date if the Cronus Zen only works through Remote Play to do this (or if it still needs a dummy controller to authenticate). Grateful for your answer, if you know -- I just need a non-Remote Play option to use my PS4 controller on PS5 games.
Zen works through remote play If you want direct connection (which is much better) then P5Mate is what you want There is a new dongle that works with P5Mate to let it connect with bkuetooth as well
I built my own besavior controller off at beloader kit on Amazon. It took me from 7pm to 10 pm which was not fun at all! But soo worth it at the end. All you need to know is how to solder. These wires and contact point are sooo tiny and close to each other which makes it difficult. Only costed 30 bucks and used my third stock ps5 controller

Some info for people who wants to use controllers only (no xims and stuff) 8bitdo Ultimate controller works wirelessly with the dongle connected to the p5 (the controller that brings a dongle, not the dongle by itself). The problem its you cant remap the touch pad. Touchpad its by default a button on the p5. On Xbox controllers, the touchpad is the pairing button. Vader 4 pro works with jys ns130 adapter (thanks to the person in reddit who figured it out), but touchpad only works pressing the button on the p5. They really should swap the share and touchpad buttons on the p5 for people that just want to use a different controller.
this is some great info. Besavior has a mysterious wireless dongle that can plug into the P5mate and allow wireless play on all controllers, and supports basic macros. Im working on getting one now and will share all the details I can find.
P5mate went up to 199 bro good thing i got 2 besavior controllers back when they first came out cost was 140 usd. Thing is i dont even use them and never have lol
I wonder if you could use the P5Mate to connect your PS5 Controller with the Strike Pack Horizon Vista then connect this with your Xim Apex to use the Strike Pack Horizon Vista Mods with your Mouse and Keyboard connected to the Xim Apex?

Is the beesavior controller like a built in Cronus. Do I need to buy scripts or anything. Does it come with a no recoil option on the turbo mode for siege and cod and rust? I am looking for a controller or device that gives me no recoils similar to a Cronus zen but with the ability to not buy scripts. I have a p5 mate and xim matrix currently

I had the same problem. First, try changing your cables. I was using the long usb A to mini usb that came with the zen. I switched that cable and it worked perfectly. Second make sure you are using the right setup. If your preferred controller is not a dual sense or edge you will still need a donor controller to plug in the side port of the zen. So I have the p5 mate plugged into the back of the ps5 with the supplied usb A to usb A cable. Then I plug my dual sense into the side port of the zen then plug my zen into the p5mate. It initializes then connects as controller under the accessories. Then I plug my preferred controller into the front left port of the zen and you’re off to the races. But definitely try different cables that seemed to be the key

Then you can use a longer one to controller Also consider using the extra power supply for P5Mate. Im going to have a wireless bkuetooth solution for P5Mate to show you in a few weeks

It won't do scripts like cronus. Just basic turbo fire and programmed button combos

I got P5mate for ps5 and it makes it work but doesn't work the zen be careful because you will get banned because the PS5 still detects it
Ps5 has no idea if you have a zen in.
But if you go crazy with mods and macros the game can detect it and you can get banned?
