I plugged mate in as followed . It says controller and just flashes on screen ,as in low power ,with nothing connected. Recieved only 2 cables with it must be a faulty product ,was direct from China, they've not responded either. Mental.

UPDATE: Got it to work. Used the Zen Bypass method to connect Zen to PS5. Connected Besaviour to left side Zen port, Strikepack to front left port and mouse to front right port. I have a problem I'm experiencing in my setup, and since you seem to be the only person who has all the same hardware, I thought I'd see if you could test it for me. I have a somewhat unique setup (I think) that works great as it is but I want to swap a part of it out with the Strikepack Horizon Vista. I'm running a hybrid setup of a mouse and a PS4 controller w/Strikepack into a Zen, and then through the Besaviour into my PS5. It allows me to use the controller (in my left hand) for movement and the mouse (in my right) for aiming. Through the Zen, I have mapped most of the buttons from the right side of the controller onto the multi-button mouse i'm using. I recently bought the Strikepack Horizon Vista and when I connect it to my PS5 controller and connect it to the Zen, the Zen gives me the green light like it's connected, but when I turn on the PS5 controller (w/SPHV) it just flashes blue around the touchpad a few times and then shuts off like it's not connecting to the PS5. If I don't use the Zen, and connect it directly to my Besaviour, it works fine. I basically need the Zen as a way to also use the mouse. I simply want to use the mouse and controller together and use the extra buttons on the left side of the Strikepack for jump and crouch (not really interested in the cheats and stuff). Like I said, the PS4 Strikepack controller works great in this setup, but it only has one paddle per side. Can you get the Strikepack Horizon Vista to connect to your PS5 through the Zen and Besaviour? If it doesn't, would you mind seeing if the P5 Mate would work with the Zen AND Strikepack together? @@GearsAndTech I did everything I try using the extra cable it came with the p5 mate and plugged it in the back of the ps5, I’ve tried using one of my cables, I also tried using and external output brick with my own usbc cable to give it extra power and that didn’t, and the brick I was using is pretty good too, charged my iPad Pro to max quick. Still disconnected after 30 minutes, I dunno, it needs update or…..

My p5mate works when I connect it with just my dual sense edge but as soon as connect my Cronus it wont work anymore it connects to the zen but I can’t move in game
I have same issue. P5 mate works, the zen works as have been using the bypass with normal ps5 control as it will not work with edge. I tested cables but my zen is USB type C so I was thinking maybe it's that.
Hi. What is revealed in the video, will this setup allow for a wired controller with a built-in cable to work? Have you tested to see if this works on any old standard controller that takes no battery, no wireless, but just operates off the cable via a 100% wired connection? I've tested that the P5mate lights up white, the ps5 controller works via usb cord, and when I move that cord to the bottom of the p5mate it's unresponsive. I've also added an extra power supply. any tips?

@ yes , You have two solutions. The first solution is time-consuming but has worked for several people, and the second one is easier but more costly. Solution 1: Turn off the PS5, connect the PSMate and Cronus with all their cables together, then turn on the PlayStation. Connect the device, and if it doesn’t work, turn off the PlayStation and repeat the process several times until it works. Solution 2: Buy a Besavior controller and connect the Cronus to it; it should work. Once it does, disconnect it and connect it to the PSMate.
I turned off blue tooth and plugged in the adapter with ps5 controller, all it does is flash then turn off. I turned on blue tooth again and went to communication method and use usb cable. Plugged everything in and the controller turns on, but it still says duel sense and no other controller works.
I have a Nitento Switch controller but when I plug it in like you do, so it doesn't work on my ps5, do I have to make any settings in the Nitento to get it to work on ps5?

Does it work with a different controller? Some controllers aren't supported. The secret hack to get all controllers working is add a zen, then connect your controller to that

I had the same issue except it was the touchpad with xim matrix only way i fixes it was using the xim with remote play ps5 output but im still trying to find a way to use it without remote play.

@@GearsAndTech so here is the update. I played around a little bit. The Original Dualshock for PS4 works on the adapter. The officially licensed Nacon Pro Revolution 2 does work only on PC more. On the PS4 mode it just won't do anything. The HORI TAC G1 (which was the only reason I bought the P5MATE) doesn't work yet on PS4 mode or on PS3 mode. Also an officially licenced controller. It does not have a PC mode. Is there any work around to connect? I have a keyboard and mouse adapter for PS4, Original PS4 controller, the 2 licenced PS4 controllers and 2 DualSense controllers. Do you have any idea how to connect the HORI TAC G1 to play PS5 games?
Hi, I can't seem to get my ps4 controller to work with the PS5 mate, all my cords were tested and are working, everything is plugged as it should I got up to the part where you go to the down menu in "accessories" it changes from Dualsense Wireless controller" to just "controller" but after that, I plug my ps4 controller into the PS5 mate and it just won't connect, I don't know why cause the little battery icon on accessories is charging so clearly the ps5 mate and PS4 controller are connected to each other but when I push the PS button the blue light just blink and then fade out I tried with a switch pro controller too but it didn't work either, I really don't know why, all the other steps before that were working....

I use an official Sony USB Bluetooth dongle connected to the p5mate. When synced with a ds4, it actually has full function (including gyro and touchpad swipes and all clicks). Strangely I can't get any controller working wired with it (ds4 or series x controller). The missing link might be the need to disable Bluetooth entirely as you're suggesting... Which would be strange, you'd think these controllers after being unpaired would be force to work in cabled mode. Same controller cable works fine connecting the ds4 to the ps5 directly

Just picked one up used, got the Dualsense working through it almost immediately and an old DualShock soon after, but I can’t seem to get any other controllers working on it, including a Switch Pro Controller, a Stadia Controller, and all of the above through a Brook Wingman FGC. I followed the video up to the point where you plugged in your own Switch ProCon and had it working flawlessly, any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Do you have links to the specific usb a to a cord and usb a to usb c you use that works and is reliable? I’ve only been using dualsense edge usb a to c and that one is amazing cause it had the lock method.

I turned off blue tooth and plugged in the adapter with ps5 controller, all it does is flash then turn off. I turned on blue tooth again and went to communication method and use usb cable. Plugged everything in and the controller turns on, but it still says duel sense and no other controller works.
Your controller is connecting over bkuetooth. You need to leave it off

I have a Nitento Switch controller but when I plug it in like you do, so it doesn't work on my ps5, do I have to make any settings in the Nitento to get it to work on ps5?

I had the same issue except it was the touchpad with xim matrix only way i fixes it was using the xim with remote play ps5 output but im still trying to find a way to use it without remote play.

What are you using P5mate for, mnk? Or are your trying to use a different controller on PS5. Have you tried unbinding the share button completely?

@@GearsAndTech so here is the update. I played around a little bit. The Original Dualshock for PS4 works on the adapter. The officially licensed Nacon Pro Revolution 2 does work only on PC more. On the PS4 mode it just won't do anything. The HORI TAC G1 (which was the only reason I bought the P5MATE) doesn't work yet on PS4 mode or on PS3 mode. Also an officially licenced controller. It does not have a PC mode. Is there any work around to connect? I have a keyboard and mouse adapter for PS4, Original PS4 controller, the 2 licenced PS4 controllers and 2 DualSense controllers. Do you have any idea how to connect the HORI TAC G1 to play PS5 games?

Hi, I can't seem to get my ps4 controller to work with the PS5 mate, all my cords were tested and are working, everything is plugged as it should
I got up to the part where you go to the down menu in "accessories" it changes from Dualsense Wireless controller" to just "controller" but after that, I plug my ps4 controller into the PS5 mate and it just won't connect, I don't know why cause the little battery icon on accessories is charging so clearly the ps5 mate and PS4 controller are connected to each other but when I push the PS button the blue light just blink and then fade out
I tried with a switch pro controller too but it didn't work either, I really don't know why, all the other steps before that were working....

I use an official Sony USB Bluetooth dongle connected to the p5mate. When synced with a ds4, it actually has full function (including gyro and touchpad swipes and all clicks). Strangely I can't get any controller working wired with it (ds4 or series x controller). The missing link might be the need to disable Bluetooth entirely as you're suggesting... Which would be strange, you'd think these controllers after being unpaired would be force to work in cabled mode. Same controller cable works fine connecting the ds4 to the ps5 directly

Great Vid, Ps5 mate works great for me after I followed steps, it’s actually pretty cool how simple the design is and how it works with any controller and assessory, but I do notice a little bit of input lag on some of the games I play, any suggestions on how to fix that?

Just picked one up used, got the Dualsense working through it almost immediately and an old DualShock soon after, but I can’t seem to get any other controllers working on it, including a Switch Pro Controller, a Stadia Controller, and all of the above through a Brook Wingman FGC. I followed the video up to the point where you plugged in your own Switch ProCon and had it working flawlessly, any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Ditch the Brooke wingman and do direct connection to switch pro controller

Do you have links to the specific usb a to a cord and usb a to usb c you use that works and is reliable? I’ve only been using dualsense edge usb a to c and that one is amazing cause it had the lock method.

Why does my p5mate work with a normal DualShock 4 but then when I plug in my zen with my p5mate it connects the zen and the controller but is unresponsive? Do I need a different firmware for the p5mate or is there a solution? I’ve tried to do everything you have done in this video.
Check zen settings. Make sure it's in ps4 mode
