@@chanwalk1659 I imagine the face still resembles that angry look, and I have a possible theory for a glider ramp. It would be cool that if you were to drive along that side wall of stone near the bridge it would branch off into a glider ramp. All I hope is that you can still fall off the bridge under the rope, for it was a staple part of the course.

Woooww the customization of DK montain is beauriful I hope that nintendo will put it in the Booster pack and that they will be inspired by this customization
Idk why but aside from the overall atmosphere (which again is just obtained with reused MK8 assets) this remade layout doesn't really shine, there's a lot of unnecessary changes. The rock wall at the beginning having an antigravity path on it would probably sound better on paper than how the final result came out. The clouds are ok, but all of the bridges in the sky don't make much sense. Not to mention that wooden platform going around the volcano, that just feels too artificial and scuffed as opposed to the original. Same goes for the rock formation made into a tunnel, it just looks out of place to me. The rest is fine-ish, and even the final glider ramp is a nice change, even though if Nintendo did it fans would be mad at them for cutting the iCoNiC bRiDgE out. Overall, surprisingly, I say I prefer the new MKT version over this. It looks way more crisp with the new MKT artstyle while still keeping a faithful track design. Maybe the bridge with supports is the only part I don't like, at this point if they wanted to make the track easier they could have gone with a glider over the chasm instead of making a secure bridge you can't fall off of.
IDK, I think people just don’t like when somewhat more unique parts of a track are just replaced with glider sections, which pretty much all function the same ngl
what makes me so mad everytime i see a well made ct is that the booster course might make a boring remake of the track, which means that future mario kart will "copy" the swich version since it's the lastest, basically not changing anything and wasting the potential for the track. MK8dx had the opportunity to change tracks like bWP or bCMa but they just ported it from tour and that's it, they could have added anti gravity sections, water sections ot more glider ramps or anything, but no they just copied it from mk7. Amazing ct as always.
I respect the graphics of This ct but I do not like it as The custom track creator did too much with the tracks Gameplay by adding tons of shit that doesn't need to be added such As unnecessary anti gravity when going down the volcano, an uneeded top path etc
