- This video is all about the Porcupine Mountains and specifically hiking The Lake of the Clouds near Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula Michigan. This is Pure Michigan and travel adventure at its finest. Beautiful 4 mile hike with so many views of Lake of the Clouds along the way. Lake of the Clouds is a mountain lake with beautiful water and on a calm day you can see the sky reflected in the water. Definitely put this on your bucket list and we hope this video makes you want to check out Michigan and the Upper Peninsula for yourself. Excellent cinematography! My maternal grandmother was born and raised in the U.P not too far from this place so we frequently visit this area each year while visiting family.
It’s such an underrated place! We hadn’t known anyone that’s visited the UP and it wasn’t really on our radar until recently. We did about 10 days exploring around and it exceeded all of our expectations. Such an incredible place. Thank you for the compliment, we work hard to make a decent video and hopefully show people what places are like. We cannot wait to go back to Michigan and spend even more time.
