The body is made of fiberglass, and not the real drivetrain either, such as the engine. Simply a regular car made to look like a cooler one.

As a person interested in cars you can see it quite easily, first by the small wheels but also the fact that the frame around the front window is red and not black.
The car also seems shorter and taller then a F50 and of course the fact that it's fiberglass.
But can fiberglass rust in a way?
No. Not rust, but it can become brittle and break away.
That f50 must have belonged to the Nigerian prince who kept emailing me.

I figured as such. The proportions looked quite odd in the photos. It looked stubby and too tall.

The Lamborghini Diablo came out 63 years before Lamborghini was founded, also 16 years before Ferruccio Lamborghini was even born. A beautiful 101 year production span

that Ferrari Dayton is a late gen c4 corvette heres the reasons
1.mirrors are the same ones off a late gen c4 corvette
2.the seat controls are in the exact same place and look the same as a late gen c4 corvette
3.the center console is the exact same from a c4 corvette
4.look closely on the shifter its a SIX SPEED the Dayton only came in 5 SPEED
5.the shifter is the EXACT SAME from a late gen c4 corvette
6.part of the dash is the same
7 ish.i couldn't get a good look but from the looks of things that top looks like its from a late gen c4 corvette

It also doesn't have the classic Ferrari chrome gated gear shift and the long, slender, almost spindly gear lever topped with the classic black round ball knob with white writing that the genuine Daytona very much had. That car is certainly pretty, from what can be seen of it it certainly appears to be one of the better attempts to emulate the fantastic lines of the 365 GTB/4, and it would certainly be a lot cheaper to own, having Chevy underpinnings but it certainly isn't the real thing. It should also be said that the original Daytona spyders were not produced by Ferrari, who only ever built it as the coupe. The spyders were the product of the same gentleman who owned NART, the North American Racing Team, Luigi Chinetti, and also owned Ferrari dealerships, who saw a gap in the market and had the cars converted to fill that gap, with Ferrari's grudging approval, so no Daytona spyder is actually a Ferrari product, though they were based on the real thing. Given the market share it simply would not have been financially viable for Ferrari to develop a soft top Daytona themselves as there were less than 100 created...

When scrapping a 80's Chrystler K car, the air conditioning still had pressure. I instantly reggreted the damage that had already been done to the car in preporation for scrap. I don't care how shitty and cheap a car was when new...history needs to be preserved.

there is a ferrari testarossa nearby me which is in the exact same condition as the ferrari daytona spyder of the video, the only difference is that when i asked the owner on why he didn't rebuild the car (the owner had a furniture shop that me and my parents were visiting and he was restoring old BMW E30s and mercedes benz w124s, he had a bunch of these types of cars on the back of his shop) he said that he tried it but he couldn't do it.The funny part is that all these happened in a shop outside of city in Greece but the car had Miami driving plates.

@@KB325i my first car was a Plymouth Duster, the thing had no motor or interior, tons of rust, and it was just a Duster, not a cuda or something. Fixed the car up for a young teen to drive, stuffed it with power and now its my dream car.

This is common in places like Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi. There are so many multimillionaires there, that when the car quits for any reason, they just leave it on the side of the road and go buy another one.
There is a story that Carroll Shelby had a personal Cobra built for himself and he was driving through the desert when it quit. He left it there and someone eventually claimed it, restored it, and it sold for millions at auction.

There were also several land-rover 110s made at the factory with large back compartments with aluminium roll up shutter doors on them, the electricity companies made big orders for dozens of vehicles and millions of dollars at a time so they were modified at the factory and not afterwards.
SSE - scottish and Southern energy (formerly Scottish hydro electric years ago) had them and when the company was taken over they kept them on the road for a few years.
They have now been mostly removed, the company operates a large fleet of Toyota hilux vehicles with custom roller shutter rear boxes and raised suspension, front winches and off road studded tyres (no cherry picker versions)
The purpose of the modified land rovers was to be driven onto farms and along roads in forests, where large vehicles would not easily fit, for working on pole mounted 11kv/230v/415v roadside household/small industrial supply transformers (farms, isolated houses, isolated hotels)
The "Ferrari" F50 and Daytona are kit cars. The Daytona is likely a Corvette.

Not all are as abandoned as it seems, Sand storms in that part of the world can make a car look like its been sitting for years in a matter of days.

If you have more info on where the GT500 was located in Cumming GA I’d surely see about getting it brought back to life. I so happen to live in Cumming GA. There aren’t many open fields left, and I doubt that the car is even still there at this point.
