@Ged Woods yup but disability also can be prove by documents such as card. So, if they face situation like this, just show the card. Problem solve. But not on this video, this show some people try to take advantage. When authority check the disability plaque number, that plaque don't belong to them
He was hiding his face because of that shit "hula skit" schnauzer pattern he has. Wanna be a rich, snobby bitch? Find you a groomer that actually knows how the fuck a proper cut is done.
They're THAT lazy. Trust me, I live next to a park where kids would drive their cars on the grass to a volleyball court, because they were lazy to walk 200 feet; and then the park blocked it off, and the KIDS STOPPED COMING.
What a ...... for the guy who drives the red SUV. You got caught red handed and you still refuse to admit. You spoke as if that road belongs to you. Thank you to all the officers and law enforcement staff who ensured that justice is served
There is a saying that goes honesty is the best policy. Well, I think confession is a best policy as well especially if you are caught red handed or there are evidence presented to prove that you have been committed. Fess up man.
They are so entitled that they have to defend their position. Narcissism at its finest. He can afford to get all those tattoos on himself but can't afford to park where he should.
I'm disabled due to a drunk driver many years ago, have a disabled placard, but even I won't park in a disabled spot unless absolutely necessary. I figure there's always someone who needs it more.
I'm the same way. I have a degenerative genetic physical disability. I got my handicapped tags and plates when I was about 32. I hate using them (and those motorized carts in stores) because I figure that there's got to be someone out there who is worse off and maybe they need it more. Plus, people see someone their 30s and think they're trying to use their mother's plates. On the days when I'm really bad and really need to go to the store (for pharmacy, etc) I'll use the parking. I've been in pain for so many years that I'm good at masking it, so I'm sure people might think I'm faking sometimes. I hate to assume that someone I see using the parking is not legitimately in need because I know appearances can be deceiving. But jerks who do use it and make people who really need the parking park further away make me so mad. I know there are people who think it'll be OK because they're going to be quick or just run in for one thing at the store. If they had to live life truly disabled then they'd see what it's like.
If you are disabled and have a legitimate placard, then use it or lose it. I figure there's always someone who needs it more.? Always? Use it or lose it. I am not physically disabled but mentally from a stroke. I don't look physically disabled, but I deserve to be able to park in the handicap just as much as any person who is physically disabled. I totally lost my spacial orientation and couldn't find my car in a parking lot to save my life without being able to park in a handicap spot. I am not to ashamed to ever use it and I always exercise that privilege when I can. No one can tell me I don't deserve to use it unless they are willing to let me take out a 1/4 or their brain.
My mother was the same way, even though she often needed a wheel chair. I had to take her to the airport, and damn near every handicapped spot was full, no placard, no special license plate. I qualify for one, but refuse. Fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue syndrome, but I usually know well in advance if it's a bad day or not, so I'll just stay home, otherwise, I walk, dammit! I need the walk!
Glenn Billings In my case, I try to keep handicapped spaces open for people who need extra space for things like wheelchairs. There are days when I'm in a wheelchair (and in a few years I will be permanently) and I know from experience that setting up a wheelchair in regular parking is next to impossible when you can't even get your door all the way open. Handicapped parking isn't just about close parking. It's also about wider spaces with room to pull out and transfer into a wheelchair without damaging the car next to you.
The man with the wheel chair said it perfectly “ I would gladly be able to walk & give them my spot”! These person don’t realize how truly blessed they really are not to have to deal with being disabled on a daily basis. The people that get caught illegally parking in handicap spaces should be forced to live in a wheel chair for one month or face a huge fine....Their choice. Maybe when they are forced to experience what it is like having to live, get around on a daily basis, go grocery shopping, find a parking spot with enough room to be able to get their chair out to be able to do their errands, just to show up & see perfectly able bodied people parking in the spots. Maybe then they will get it. Nobody wants to be handicapped, especially to get a handicapped parking space. Would you?
:People need to be aware that not all people have handicaps that are visible, I have COPD which is active when I try to walk any distance' I do not have a placard and do not use handicapped parking spots since I have been homebound since 2020 from an unrelated major illness that medication for it nullifies the effects of Covid vaccines. But when I am able to drive, I will have a placard and the only way anyone will know that I have a handicapp is if they notice my Imogen oxygen machine and recognize what it is.
I am permanently disabled with two fused ankles and a bevy of other complications arising from that. On good days, I often park in non-disabled spots, just because I know I am good for it. On other days, when I don't just send the wife, but am in pain from sciatica or whatever, I desperately need those spots. I have turned in more than one violator. One day I will take the law into my own hands, and issue them a citation personally, which is legal in Oregon.
@@metaglypto How can you tell by looking at someone if they have medical issues? You are just silly and you need to mind your business. Giving people citations is not your business!!!
@@brininahoward5445 You are correct, I cannot always tell if someone has medical issues. However, if the vehicle DOES NOT have a handicapped placard or license plate, when parking in a handicapped spot, they are breaking the law. And yes, in Oregon, handing out parking tickets in Oregon IS my business, if I choose to make it my business. You are the one being silly, and I will add, and being a Karen as well. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT MY MOTIVATIONS ARE, nor the conditions under which I have turned violators in. Maybe you should start minding your own business Karen, unless you are one taking those spots illegally that is.
I’m soooooo okay with people getting tickets for this. My sister was handicapped before she passed away and we ran into these entitled AH all the time.
Screw that! We live in a country that has too many special groups! Handicapped parking should be part time, I should not have to walk by empty parking spots in a rainstorm. Have Monday Wednesday and Sunday.
axer351 *Read to what you just said.....I shouldn’t have to ‘’Walk’’ in a rainstorm!! Well how about this....How about we take your legs, and ask God to give them to the people who wishes they could walk, Then you can park as close as you and to!! I can almost guarantee that the people who are handicapped wishes that they could have the privilege to walk in a rainstorm, while not complaining about it!! And just so you know, there’s no such thing as ‘’Part Time’’ handicapped......FUCKING CLOWN🤡*
Zorn Radio *Sorry for your lost, and also sorry that you have to deal with entitled bitches like this asshole who’s complaining about not walking in rain*
As a person who is handicapped, I applaud these officers. I usually do not use a handicapped spot unless I have a very bad day and my spine, knee, and ankle injuries are really flaring up. Those spots can usually go to people who have more problems than I do unless I am having that occasional bad day. If I was in that area I would have to have my walking stick or a cane to go on a hike as that would probably cause more problems that it would be worth for my health.
Watched a HEALTHY mom and daughter park in a handicap spot, put the placard on the mirror, exit the vehicle, go shopping, load their packages, get in, pull the placard down and drive off. Self centered Idiots and entitled! Makes me want to puke!
@@railroad9000 Yes I agree it does happen alot but there is no way to tell what someones handicap really is without invading their privacy. Technically as you are probably correct in your assumption, in alot of jurisdictions there is not supposed to be nothing hanging from the rearview mirror even the handicap placard. It just is never enforced.
I've had a handicapped placard for years. The application was signed by my heart surgeon. It's entirely legal and legitimate in every way. I hope that because my disability isn't plainly obvious (no limp, crutches, wheelchair, etc) I won't be accused of any kind of fraud. It hasn't happened yet...but it does cross my mind.
That's why the officers check the permit to see who it is issued to. There are many people that have hidden disabilities that are not obvious to others, that need those permits, like yourself.
My disabilities are also hidden and I also look much younger. I always have and can pass for early 20’s when I’m almost 46. I don’t use a wheelchair, crutches, or a cane but I’m in the hospital frequently especially due to infections and other issues. I used to be on oxygen but I was able to come off. I have a central line in my chest and I have my own IV pump with fluids and meds. I have chronic pain and issues with my heart rate and blood pressure. My registration I believe has on it that I am disabled
I totally know the feeling, I have MS and its been getting harder and harder to walk long distances for me now, I just applied for a handicap placard but also worry about being judge with an invisible disease...
That's the issue I had with this story bcse I felt folks just assume they didn't have a disability bcse it's not visible or they're not in a wheelchair. My friend has one bcse they were brutally attacked and suffered a spinal injury but they aren't in a wheelchair or use a cain. But has been in PT for a long time and is always in a lot of pain. But their dr still expects them to remain active.
That is an AWESOME solution, valet parking! But a sideshow here. A friend of mine and I parked in the handicapped spot at a store about three months ago. he put his placard in my window as we got out. A woman came over and started harassing us saying we did not look disabled (my license plate says "Disabled veteran" but it is not the type of license to let me use the HC spots). She said she was calling the police and we said to go ahead and reminded her that not everyone looks disabled that are. The cop was waiting for us when we came out 20 minutes later. The woman was screaming. The cop asked her to calm down. He checked my friend's papers and found them in order. The woman started screaming again. The cop turned to my friend and said "Why don't you show her?". He unzipped his pant leg, undid the bracing and held his leg out to her. The cop noted some of the redness around the site where the new leg did not quite fit right and was irritating his skin. The cop turned back to the woman and told her to head for Afghanistan and maybe she would be eligible to use the HC space. And I was driving because his leg hurt so much.
No, because some disabilities are progressive or symptomatic, like Parkinson's or cancer or diabetes (type 1; i.e. non-lifestyle type; can come and go), even having a bad back, perhaps you're able to go hiking or walking on the beach for periods, but are unable to then use the hard footpaths of city centers because of the damage to your spine/back etc. Perhaps you have very poor upper body strength, so can't carry bags far etc. Don't assume someone isn't disabled just because they look fit and healthy, Adam Hills (Australian comedian) is disabled, he was born without a foot, wears a replacement, it's not even noticeable, but say, he might be able to go swimming for hours, but can't walk a kilometer on bitumen and concrete due to the pain. I understand though, that some people do just cheat the system and that's shameful, especially when their bad behavior it begins to taint the good behavior of the genuinely disabled.
Urgh...yeah. I can usually walk in the woods, on the soft duff, just fine for hours. Urban areas with sidewalks? Within an hour, my back is killing me, and it feels like the bones in my feet are broken, and every step becomes agony.
No, the valet takes them to a nearby lot or such. They probably phone ahead as they near the end of the trail and the valets meet them at a designated spot with their vehicle.
We had a neighbor who abuse this system as well.. got a handicap tag from her husband claiming he was injured during combat but is able to lift 3 cases of water at once. The wife is a gym instructor who parks in a permanent handicap spot & we live in a complex so parking is difficult. Shame on them!!!
Yeah. Some people abuse it. One of the kids at summercamp (kids/adults with disabilities) had a parking pass even though he could walk just fine. Always very annoying how proud he was of that. I blame his parents. They're doctors and had one of their friends sign the papers. It was also quite annoying that a fair amount of the campers with wheelchairs didn't have passes or simply didn't bring it to camp. Trying to fill the cars so that there is someone else with a valid pass can be annoying. Especially when they had a pass and were told over and over again to bring it.
I qualify, hands down, for a parking permit! But, you know what? I can still use my legs! Until I lose the use of my legs, I WILL park where I have to walk! Save those spots for folks who REALLY need it! My own mother used to tell me to go ahead and park in a handicap spot, since, my dad had a placard in the car. I would not do that! I would drop her off at the door, then, park and walk. She didn't drive.
suruha2306 I do also but because of people abusing disability - I've been denied twice because I have a college degree. They claim I can still work with my brain.
So glad to see this. My mom wanted to go to the mall so I took her could not park in the handicap parking because this young guy with his fancy truck parked there. I called mall police and stayed to watch him get a ticket!! My mother was seriously handicap in a wheel chair.
Man. This makes me so mad. I'm disabled, and have been since I was around 11 years old. I'm now 24, and have a permanent handicap plaque. I've had people actually confront me and accuse me of using someone else's plaque. Guess I don't "look disabled".
Same happened to me. I'm a disabled veteran and have DV plates. These old people think I'm too young. I point out the plates and they get respectful real quick.
My daughter and I run into the same thing. She has MS and I have other issues that qualify me for the permanent tag. I had one person come up and questioned whether I was handicapped. I asked if they were a doctor because I needed help what the sudden pain in my ass. Somehow they didn't see the humor in the answer.
People need to understand that not all disabilities are visible. While those of us who live with disabilities appreciate those people who are looking out for us, please make sure you understand this. I have been harassed, followed, reported, and humiliated by some people who refuse to understand that not all disabilities are visible. If you think someone may be violating handicap parking, ask nicely. I will assure you that it is my car/placard and I "earned it" the old-fashioned way...living with multiple disabilities. I would rather not live with these disabilities, I'd rather be my "old"self (before I became disabled). The cost for this placard is living with relentless pain, the loss of my career and former life of being a healthy, active wife, mother, teacher, grandmother, volunteer, and living with other physical issues I'd rather not get into (please remember we do have the right to privacy). I'd happily surrender my placard if I was given my life before all this again. So please be respectful and kind...we have enough to deal with on a daily basis. Thank you.
The thing I hate more than anything as a paralyzed member of society is when people use their relative/roommate/friends permit in order to park in handicap spaces. I also hate the fact that many doctors for fear of lawsuits will sign the form in order to allow them to get the permit. I also hate people with temporary permits that continue to use them for years after they’ve been issued. I’ve seen it so many times as a disabled person and there’s nothing I can do but just shake my head in disgust. I think the people without placards that park in handicap spaces should have their car towed away rather than just writing them a ticket. The interesting thing is as a disabled person I pretty much spend most my time at home. So it’s those few times that I actually go out to get groceries, or go to the doctor, and these are the times that it happens. So if it happens this much to me as rare as I go out, imagine the amount of people that must actually do it when I’m not seeing it.
I observed a NC State Trooper parked in a handicapped parking space at an Arby's in Boone NC a few years back. His was the only vehicle and he was sitting inside eating. He came out while I was writing down the info on the vehicle. he came out and ask if he could help me. I pointed out his discrepancy and he says now see here to which I said now see here nothing. I read him the riot act and he said there was a board blocking the sign but there was no board and the pavement was clearly marked. Personally I have disabled veteran plates but if you do not have the plates, I bet he would be the first to issue a citation. I wonder how he explained it to the internal affairs department after I turned his ass in the the NC Governors Office. Yes, I'm a 100% disabled veteran and I served all my time as a career as a Military Policeman and damn proud of it. This kind of officer is a total disgrace to honest law enforcement.
Be careful of your harsh words. Karma can be a real fucking bitch and you too could someday be disabled or handicapped. Age is not a factor however being as naive as you seem you will not always be a spring chicken
sandy, why does the cop have to be an asshole? You are confused over who is the idiot with an entitlement attitude. Try expecting cops to obey the same laws citizens are required to follow. Or have you licked so much bootshine you can't think clearly anymore?
It's is the property owners responsibility to meet federal law for proper disabled parking. The symbol painted on the ground doesn't meet that ADA standards..the symbol on the ground is a waste of time and money because it means nothing legally 😉 the officer is 100 percent correct. I don't look on the pavement when I'm parking. Ther is a few logical reasons for the rule .
@Green Giant You really don't get it. No point in explaining what doctors want my daughter to do.. Or heart and cancer patients to name a few. I hope you never find out first hand.
@Green Giant Of course they wouldn't just go there to sit in the sun. Makes to much sense for disabled people to just want to enjoy the view. Selfish people these days.
I have said it all along. You wanna make someone pay. Simple either go after their money or embarrass them! Those are the 2 most effective things that people respond to.
I am disabled a got a ticket in Lafayette, LA because I let it expire. Thankfully I didn't have to pay a full price ticket. . .about $30. I did request the judge to pass along that I appreciated the officer for doing his job.
So the cop gets a talking to and the average citizen gets a $700 fine and has to go before a judge with possible community service? What's wrong with this picture?
The reality is NOBODY gets a seven hundred dollar sign. They're "admonished" by the court and left to continue thumbing their collective noses at the law and those who NEED the spaces and have a legal right to them. Cop or not nobody but the handicapped take the spaces seriously. Certainly not the law.
How many operatives did you have to find out about who did or didn't pay a fine? Did you have access to court records? I don't think you know what you're talking about.
Just FYI: I had a legal handicap placard when I was 38. I was recovering from a devastating ski injury to my right leg, after 5 months on crutches, in a plaster cast from my toes to my crotch, and 7 months of rehab, I could walk very slowly and carefully while wearing a leg brace. I got berated by a man as I slowly made my way across a department store parking lot. I looked pretty normal, because I wore mid-calf length skirts to hide the awful looking brace. Imagine his surprise when I hiked my skirt all the way up to my thigh to show him the brace. He was very embarrassed and apologetic. I'm just commenting here, because you don't have to be old, in a wheel chair or be visibly handicapped to need a placard.
Tootsla 125 I get this too since I’m fairly young (30) but my oncologist signed off for a placard (I only asked for a temporary one, not permanent) for me due the tumor, the chemo, and I ended up getting a Pulmonary Embolism which makes it really hard to walk as well as hard to breathe.
I learn this lesson the hard way. When i was young i use to think you have to be able to see a disability. About 4 years ago i learn personally not all disability are the same. After 40+ years working in food service i ended up with pinch nerves, degenerative disc disease, bone spurs in back and neck. I worked till a simply job at work felt like a 10 inch french knife was going thur my neck. I am telling my story and hopefully it will help people not to judge people who you don't know, like i use to. I hope no one will find out what choric pain is the way i have had to. I am still a lucky one... I have the use of all 4 limbs yes always in some pain.... Some good days some bad days. On really bad days can't hold my neck up on my shoulders. Please make a judgement call if you don't know the fyll details
If a person has a tag or hanging placard then you shouldn't say anything, the problem is when someone like the 1st woman uses a placard and it does not apply to them, I had two brothers and a nephew die from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which starts to effect them from birth, by the age of 7-8 they are in a wheel chair and it progresses until they die, my brothers were 18 and 20, my nephew was 23 when they passed, we could never find a handicapped parking space when trying to take him places, when you have a motorized wheelchair you need space to let the lift down and if it was raining we either didn't take him out or we would hold a plastic tarp over him as we walked a good distance, he in his chair, to get inside, there is more to it but I will spare you, I guess what I am saying is I don't think a person should have a handicapped plate or placard unless they need a device in order to walk, old folk's get them now just for arthritis and exercise is good for that, obese people because they are so heavy it hurts them to walk, so many whiners, you cry because of a ski injury, it was your choice to ski which can be a dangerous sport, and if you could walk even slowly you did not need the placard, YOU COULD WALK!!, I have had health issues myself had two compression fx in my spine suffer from severe arthritis but until I need a walker or wheelchair refuse to take advantage of it, my mom is 86 and has severe problems, gets chemo for lymphoma, (no handicapped plate) but also walks slowly because she can and will as long as she can, god forbid you ever are in that situation or have a loved one who is because then you will see things differently and thank God that you can walk or move at all.
Toni Wilson I too know your pain started working at 16 and worked 42 years, some of those years at a full and part time job, exercise is GOOD for you even when you hurt you must push though it, it helps your body in the long run, I have bouts that last anywhere from 1 to 4 days where I am in severe pain, on those days I'm not going shopping or driving, I take anti inflammatory's and use a Tens unit until I get better, again if I am mobile I am mobile and don't need a handicapped spot. I hope on your bad days your not driving or under the influence of pain meds.
mjc 427 ... Oh no on my bad days i don't go anywhere or do much. I listen to my body. I am awake tonight because i got pins and needles going on in my shoulders. Time to pull out my heavy duty pain pill that i only take when nothings else work. 3 a.m. is long enough to be awake. Take care of yourself.
I drove elderly people to medical appointments for a senior community. Everybody I drove couldn't drive themselves any more. I had a handicapped placard, and would park in a space, get out the walker or wheelchair, get the person in the building, then back out of the handicapped spot and wait at the far end of the lot. When I would get a phone call the resident was done, if there was a handicapped space, I pulled in, got the resident back to the car, and drove off. Sometimes there would be a space, sometimes there wouldn't be. I would just park sideways, blocking cars for a few minutes while getting the resident in to the docs office, and wait and do the same thing for pickup. I only sat in a handicap spot if I had someone who had trouble breathing and/or going long distances. I never, ever abused the placard. And, I'm an avid hiker. When I am not driving an elderly person, I park far, far away and walk. I don't mind. I'm in shape to do so.
IF YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, DOWNLOAD THE "PARKING MOBILITY" APP. You can take a pic through the app & have it automatically sent it to local law enforcement so offender gets mailed a ticket!! Note: read instructions carefully - the pic MUST be taken through the Parking Mobility app (if you just use your phone's camera, it doesn't "count" and they can't be mailed a ticket. ) Read carefully about how to use it; there are 3 specific things that need to be photographed!!!! Be a force for good in the world - dwnld this FREE app! I'm handicapped and really appreciate being able to advocate for justice against these criminals.
It's great to catch people who don't really need the parking space but I've heard people say stuff to my mother about how she's not even disabled parking in those parking spaces she might not look disabled but she's had two total knee Replacements and over 7 back surgeries yes she is capable of walking without a limp but when she walks for long distances for long periods of time she is in a lot of pain so just because someone looks like they don't have a disability doesn't necessarily mean that they don't.
Tell me about it, I had total knee replacement in my right knee & now my left knee if fucked up because of my right knee, what I mean is I was compensating with my right knee which caused it to fuck up, so I can walk short distance but not long distance.
mike johnson if it makes you feel any better my mom's second knee replacement wasn't as bad as her first one, but she did have quite a few years between the two so I'm sure technology was a lot better when she had the second one
This is a little off topic but I'm going to submit it anyway. The week before Christmas I drove my dad to go Christmas shopping. He has COPD asthma, and walks with a cane. However he really wanted to pick out a gift for his new granddaughter. He managed to walk in the store, we bought something very quickly. we left the store and he stood at the entrance holding on to one of the pillars at the entrance. I went to get the car which had his handicap placard on it. A policeman came over and rightfully asked me why I was using a handicap placard when I was clearly not handicapped. I pointed to my dad who is visible from the vehicle, explaining I was going to pull the car over closer to him so he didn't have to walk all the way over to it. The policeman called me told me that I was violating the law and wrote me a ticket. Even though he could clearly see my father barely holding himself up several feet away. I went to court to fight the ticket, brought my dad with me. The judge asked the cop why he wrote The ticket, and the cop said if you have a handicap sticker the handicap person must be inside the vehicle. The judge freaked out. Told the cop "if someone has a handicap sticker, according to you they can't go into a store? Then why the hell would they need to handicap sticker on the first place?" The judge apologized to me and my father for the cop wasting our time and his.
+Scooter Ahlers Wow i love intelligent people which cant be you, the first thing you have to do in a comment is swear. and i would say to you only speak about what you know, i became disabled while serving my country so i do know what i am speaking about, and id say you are one of these idiots who feel self entitled and can do and park where ever you want, and i bet you park in disabled bays. the fact that if you go to a car park and you see some empty doesn't give you the right to use them. check the law. and i just hope you get caught some day doing it. lol.
Peter Burke Actually I DO have a disability but I am too PROUD to carry a handicapped placard. Ever hear of a PAINFUL condition called Chronic Gout?? BTW Thank you for your service to our country.
I used to work Parking Services at a University. I would ticket people so often in the handicap and fire lanes, any guess who abused it the most? The Universities own maintenance crew.
When my grandmother was alive and I drove her car around, the only time I would park in a handicapped space was if she was with me. If she wasnt in the vehicle, even though she had a handicap plate, I would park in a regular spot and left the handicapped space for whoever really needed it!
I don't make assumptions, my nephew had a heart attack and for a while had a hard time after his surgery walking and was out of breath and it was painful also and the same year his daughter had major foot surgery, but at least strangers watching her could see her struggle to walk and bandaged with her scooter. But I do think so many people feel entitled to use this even if not handicapped. I used to take my husband's 94 year old aunt to dentist or doctors appointments and I had to get her Walker out of the trunk and get her inside but so often I would see aging baby boomers waltzing out of the office in their tennis outfits ( one couple) and hopping in the car like they were not handicapped. I asked 1 lady about parking in the handicapped as she did not have a placard or a license plate for it, her excuse was " oh I forgot to put it up, I have a hard to e lifting my arm up over my head for a long time. Well can you walk fine, if so you should not be using this. I wish I could have filmed our aunt and put tapes of it or a link on the internet on people's cars who wrongly take this parking. There is very little consideration for other people these days. There is no shame, there is no correcting ourselves or apologizing any longer it is all, pushyness, insistence on our being right, and to hack with the other guy. No grace, no manners, very little kindness. I asked a woman to social distance in a pharmacy, she went off on me then told me " I know I work in a hospital, I'm a nurse" my reply was " well then you should know better than most people the damage this disease can do and act accordingly. Hope I NEVER have to rely on her being my nurse. Kate wrote this
that guy saying im not in a handicap spot i tell him hey dummy this spot of road for the handicap or u live here that the rule for long time if u this stupid u sure not be driving god damn give him 2 tickets.... 1 for missed-using a handicap & another for being cocky
Had a lady jump all over me a few years back because I was using a temp [red] handicap hanger. She called the cops and everything. Even after I showed her the 22 staples in my knee and the cane I was using to walk with. When the cops showed up they ran the placard and told me to have a nice day. Then they ran hers and surprise surprise surprise. She was using the one her recently deceased grandmother had. Should have heard her hollering about racism and everything then.
Why did you bother wasting any time interacting with someone like that? You knew you were not breaking the law and that you were legally parked in a handicapped spot. You certainly didn't owe her, or anyone else an explanation, you should have just ignored her and went on your way.
Dave Perala --- that happens to you because there are so many abusers that people start assuming anyone without a obvious disability are illegally using it. I've been disable since infancy and I bought a new sports cars a few years ago and people would leave nasty notes on my car when I used a handicap spot. While I appreciated the concern disable people don't always drive wheel chair vans.
+1851RKP yup, I "broke" my back in the army and my knees are shot, a lady threatened to have my placard canceled because I was abusing it. As disabled people can't ride motorcycle, according to her. I ride a very large bike so my knees don't hurt, it's no different than sitting in a chair, and I keep a folding cane in my saddle bag. She was just pissy 'cause I kicked her out of the handicap stall out front of my house 5 months prior with her excuse being that there was no parking and she had to drop her kids off at school.
So it’s ok to park there because he’s usually always in the car? 😂 The other chicken not only walked across the road, she RAN to get to the other side. I love when egotistical snobs get humiliated! Should have shown their faces close up.
I’m handicapped and found this funny. I can barely walk with a lot of pain and it irks the hell out of me to see perfectly healthy nobs walk like they’re ready for a marathon using a handicapped spot or encroaching into a spot.
I am disabled, and have a placard. About 2 years ago we were in Duluth, MN and were lucky enough to find a handicapped spot. We were in a rental vehicle and forgot to put the placard on the rear view mirror. We started to walk away and a man came up looking in the window to make sure we didn’t have the placard and maybe it fell off. I realized that we hadn’t hung the placard and that’s what he was looking for. We were only about 5 steps away from the vehicle, so my husband went back and put the placard up. The man identified himself as someone from the police department checking on people misusing handicapped spots. I also had to show him the paperwork you get with the placard, which I readily did. He apologized and I apologized to him. That is the only time we forgot to hang the placard when we parked in a handicapped space. Lot of times, my husband will drop me at the door, go park in a regular spot and when we’re done he’ll get the car and pick me up. I know there are plenty of people worse off than I am, so if we can park in a regular spot, we do. But, I also have had people yell at me that I don’t look like I’m handicapped and shouldn’t park there although I usually have my portable oxygen with me. My handicap is bad heart and lungs, so I probably really don’t “look” handicapped. But there are many ways to be handicapped and you may not look it. I’ve heard people say they can use it cause they hurt their back, leg or something but aren’t qualified to be considered handicapped. The best ones I’ve heard are , the weather is so bad(cold, snowy, rainy) that a handicapped person wouldn’t be out any way. Or it’s late at night and what would a handicapped person be out after dark.
my father is disabled and I cant tell you how many times ive driven him places and all the disabled spots are taken and you see some young able bodied person getting out of the cars. I am glad at least somewhere they are cracking down on this.
hey im 28 years old well healthly and i dont look handicap person but i have arthritis on my legs and i have my own handicap also combat veteran fix your comment
Yeah but if you get out of your car and have no placard how will anyone think otherwise? Of course people will sum you up as being fit and able if you aren't displaying a placard in a disabled spot.
Same here, with my mom, and later, doing elder care. I complained to one store, and they wouldn't do shit about it. I had to double park to get her out of the car and into the salon (older lady who still had to get her hair done weekly), then go park, wander around, go see how close she was to ready, and if there still wasn't a spot available, double park again to get her SLOWLY out to the car (she used a walker), get her it, fold up walker, so we could leave.
There's a new thing where hipsters in Austin, TX go to Walmart and ride around in the mobility scooters with their "service dog" in the basket. And by "service dog" I mean their regular pet dog that they say is a service dog because it's illegal to question it.
Disabled parking abuse is not MILD!! If you do this you’re a raging piece of selfish shit!!!!! I pray you never actually need this and can’t find a spot. It’s the most frustrating thing!
Lisa, you are a kinder woman than I am. As a multiple amputee I wish that everyone who abuses this privilege without need were forced to be "handicapped" for a week or two so they knew what it really felt like.
Went looking for a car advertised on Craigslist once. Seller met us at a 7-Eleven type of place and parked in a handicapped spot even though they were not handicapped and had no placard. I suggested why don't we move to a different space instead of here and he was all 'Nah; it doesn't matter; it's just for a few minutes'. Would you buy a car from a person who thinks that way? Well, we didn't either.
Boy oh boy how I wish my husband didn't need a handicapped placard, and so does he.Enjoy your health and mobility while you have it because you never know when you'll loose it.
I live in Wisconsin and had a cardiac surgery at age 36 due to an aortic hemorrhage and I have a placard. Some days are better than others, but when I have to use the handicapped space and people see how young I am you should see some of the looks I get... not all disabilities are visible.
Jason Klein I get this too since I’m fairly young (30) but my oncologist signed off for a placard (I only asked for a temporary one, not permanent) for me due the tumor, the chemo - fatigue is awful! - and I ended up getting a Pulmonary Embolism which makes it really hard to walk as well as hard to breathe.
I had a six way bypass when i was 37 and i hit a tree snow skiing i was paralized from the waist down for months i had 3 doctors tell me i did not qualify for a placard. .they said for my heart to qualify i had to be on oxegen and wheelchair bound ..so it really chaps my ass to see so many people that abuse the system
Indeed you are right. Some people have a legit reason, but this people in the video obviously were not the owners of the place card. Also, usually a place card has the name of the person issued to. I know this cause where I live that's what they do. I used to drive a handicapped lady and her card, had her name on it. It was added at the time they issued to her.
This is proof that IMAGE is most important in that area. If u wanted to really exercise you’d walk the extra blocks and not trip. You’re just there for people to see u.
Exactly what I came to say! We have a jogging strip like that here in Madison, WI: by the water, lots of sexy people jogging. People will drive over or take the bus over just to be seen jogging there. Pathetic.
@@DiogenesOfCa I get irritated at the grocery store cars park near front doors, in the marked off areas meant for emergency vehicles. "I'm only going for a minute", or "I'm waiting for my girlfriend", etc. As a pedestrian, those vehicles block my view to walk across the parking lot and see oncoming cars. NOW, I understand some elderly people or someone buying something large, might do it, but not the lazy people.
You said it brother. Another law comes to mind. People talking or texting while driving. I've seen police break these same laws that they're supposed to enforce.
can't get hired cuz of tattoo's??... where do you live, its 2016 tattoos are not tabu anymore, many ppl even in law enforcement have them you should get out more Loser.
Tattoos are not tabu, this is true. But when you have that many, and in places that are not easy to cover, it still limits your employment opportunities. A lot also depends on the area of the country you live in. In LA, I can't imagine it being a big problem, but in South Georgia. It is still a problem for many employees. That being said. This guy has all the hallmarks of a DB, right down to the Pit Bull.
There's a lot wrong with South Georgia, that's irrelevant. With that said, I'm from Atlanta.. and I know what you mean. But as long as you don't have stupid Fucking tattoos and your educated, it'll have no effect on your career path. Also if he can spend a car on his arm, he could probably afford a very nice car
Stupid tattoos are ANY tattoos that can't be covered up with regular clothing by some peoples definition. All depends on the job and the city. Tattoos or no tattoos this guy is still a DB
It is kind of ironic that these so called hikers need to park as close as possible to the entrance of the hiking trail. If they have any sort of disability, it must be an intellectual one.
+CNCmachiningisfun How bout a gym I used to go to where members would use the elevator to go up one flight The stairs were quicker . I guess it was too much of a workout for them
John Whiteside Yeah, it's kind of ironic that they would avoid exercising on the way to their place of exercise. It's like being lazy while being athletic. Does not compute!!!
+John Whiteside I would use the elevator when my back was acting up. The motion of going up/down steps was very painful but normal walking was still manageable. Don't be so quick to judge.
CathyGo I think you are the exception to the rule. We commonly observe perfectly able bodied people being lazy - when they should be appreciably more active. In your case, you have a good reason to take the elevator instead of he stairs.
About 75% would use the elevator & If Your back is acting up You need to see You Doc & Learn the proper exercises. I used to have back problems but I learned the proper back exercises for it.
The guy defends himself by saying “I don’t park on a handicap parking spot, why would I do that” but yet he’s displaying a handicap card on his mirror. What a jerk
What really ticks me off is that people just think handicapped parking is just for close parking. They don't realize that in tight parking lots that extra space is needed to unload and set up wheelchairs (or walkers). I know that doesn't apply to these situations in the video, but since people are discussing HC parking in general in the comments I wanted to remind selfish people that things aren't as easy as when you're jumping out of your car on your feet and using/abusing a relative or friend's placard. In my state (Texas) you can find people selling placards at swap meets. Cops don't seem to care. I know that not all disabilities are immediately visible when people park in HC spots, but when people are illegally selling placards it's obviously a time when cops should want to get involved.
Be careful about confronting random people about using handicapped parking spaces. You never know when you are going to confront someone who is going to react with extreme hostility towards you. It doesn't matter if they turn out to be handicapped or not if they end up harming you in some way or even killing you. It's not worth the possibility of something happening to you or your family over a handicapped parking space. If you feel the need to do something about it, call the police.
I wish they would do this in Georgia and Alabama. You would be surprised how many rude kids use grandma's placard. I am in agreement grandma should lose her placard if she loans it out.
Okay on a hike little different. But there ARE invisible disabilities. I have a heart condition. The permit is mine. And I can legally park in handicap spots. And yet if I do I get gored at and told off. So....
Birdie Perchy Unfortunately, you just have to get to a point where you don't care what people think. I'm not wheelchair bound yet. I do have a cane, but I know that people still give me looks. I just can't care anymore. I dream of a day that someone comes up with an invention that will help people understand that just because you can't see my disabilities doesn't mean they're not there. I'd love to be able to transfer my pain to someone that thinks I'm faking. 20 minutes with a pain disorder, arthritic spine, severe asthma, migraines and heart palpitations and they'll never give anyone with an actual placard grief again. Doctors don't hand them out just for kicks.
Dj Strings Music Yes but the guy reporting people for not having a physical disability is an idiot. Not all disabilities are physical a person can walk around just fine but they could have severe mental illness.
***** My mother has a handicapped tag on her car and while she has no physical handicap she is still considering handicapped due to mental illness. It's not up to you to decide where they park if they legally obtained their handicapped ID. My friend had a hand amputated from outer appearances he looks normal, someone decided to screech at him * Like the old nosy bastard with his little website here* Sure he has two full functioning legs but he is missing a hand, regardless someone decided to say he isn't handicapped. He took his hand off and hit them with it. Again not up to you to decide, he could walk to a normal spot to, do you see how idiotic your argument sounds. I have seizures and blackouts, I also park close to the store and I too have had people say nothings wrong with me despite having life crippling seizures.
***** First off I'm 135 pounds, and if you knew anything about being epileptic you'd grasp that some people can actually die from the seizures they indure. Secondly not up to you to decide it's up to the medical doctor who issued me my handicapped Tag. So sorry honey , you aren't in the medical field and you are not more educated than a real doctor. I could link you to countless websites discussing Syncope and Epilepsy but you're so stupid that I doubt you could even understand the words on the sites. And based on your endless ignorance I am willing to bet that 1. You are a female and 2. You're black.
When I go to a supermarket, or mall, it's always police cars I see parked in disabled spots. When come out they are holding a takeaway bag, when asked why they park like that, and they reply they're on a call. Thats was in US and UK.
THANK YOU! I'm disabled & desperately need a disabled pkg spot. If I can't find one, I can't go into the store. Also, I once found a spot but when I returned, there was a car (no permit) squeezed into the hash-marked spot beside me, so close I couldn't even open my door! I had to wait, with my groceries cooking in the sun until two women came out showing each other what great deals they had gotten on clothes they purchased. I tried to tell them what an inconvenience it was. Apology? Of course not! Told me that was my problem, not theirs. Made me wish I had forced my door open with no regard as to whether I scratched or dented their car. Then it would have been THEIR problem!!
At least the woman driving the black Cadillac SUV found out that her hiking partner is not a real friend. Anyone who bails on their "friend" in a situation like that would not be someone you could depend on. Especially while hiking. Choose your friends and hiking partners wisely.
Taking the handicapped plackard from an offender only hurts the owner of the plackard, who did nothing wrong. Take the offenders licence instead, and make them go through the process of getting it all over again. The written test, the road test, everything. They can use Uber, Lyft, a cab or the bus until they do. That would put and end to this fast.
People who have a placard shouldn’t loan it out. I know of people who do that. It just makes it difficult for people like my son to find a place to park.
In most cases, the owner can't drive themselves. Taking the placard just makes them stay home while, hopefully, the offender has to run their errands, get them to appointments (most places will meet you in front with a chair or assistance). If you take the driver's license, no one can go anywhere until that is restored, undue hardship.
Roxanne Moultrie That is very true as I can attest. However, the criteria for a placard is an inability to walk a certain distance and must be signed by a physician.
@@slowpoke226 it depends on your State. I've got one for MS, and since MS goes in cycles, I'll look completely normal for a few months then be in a wheelchair for the next few. When I do look normal, my body is wracked with pain, but because I take 14 meds, it helps mask it enough for me to "look" normal to the average person.
Very true and agreed but the cops ran placard # and it belonged to someone that wasn't in the vehicle at the time. If you were there and had 1 and they ran it and came back in your name and I.d. checked out they would've let you go without further discussion I'm sure.
I love this!!!! So glad to see people are being caught parking in handicap spots!!!! It makes me so angry when I see healthy people taking up those spots!
@Cory Templar of course I want a veteran to use a spot if they need it. But I'm talking about the ones who take those spots from people who do need them. My dad is a vet and I support veterans. Sorry if you misunderstood my point.
I think the people are chit bags for doing that. But as a citizen be careful of attacking someone who has the placard and gets out of the car and looks perfectly capable of walking. I have spinal stenosis and I'm 55 and pretty muscular. I can walk about a block and my lower back will start burning. The more I walk the burn becomes really intense. But when I first get out of the car, I walk pretty well. An unknowing observer would think I didn't need it.. Almost all the stores I go to in my neighborhood know I have a bad back. Tell one employee ad the whole store knows I also treat customer service people with great respect so I'm pretty well liked. Anyway, if they catch me in a store and see I'm having a hard time, they come right over and see if they can help me some way. I'm VERY grateful for that. But I seldom accept help. I usually find a place to sit, and stretch my back out. I'm still very flexible. I can stand and bend over and touch my palms to the floor without my knees buckling.......again.....if an unknowing person saw this, they wouldn't think I was handicapped or deserved a handicapped sticker. Actually I don't have a handicapped license, license plate or a placard. I endure it. I do try my very best to pray to baby gezuz to get a very close parking spot though. and if He gets you one, you better say thanks. Sorry to ramble on and on. BTW, if anyone knows a stem-cell Dr. who can inject into my spine at L4-L5 and coccyx who can do it with payments, I'd be very grateful. I have great health insurance, but they don't pay for stem-cell procedures.
As do I. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and, yes, spinal stenosis, plus now 2 herniated discs. I plow through, unless it's a bad day, then I stay in bed, and like you, I can touch my palms to the floor easily, and do a lot of stretches for my back. Stem cells? My insurance sucks, so, probably not an option, but they're working on a procedure that 'regrows' the cartilage in the discs. It's like a two-part epoxy, requires only a tiny incision, the dual needles go into the disc, both plungers pushed, the two compounds mix to form new cartilage. Far less invasive or damaging than fusing discs, and the cost is 1/20th that of a fusion. Dr. in Texas developed it, and FDA needs five years to develop it and see if they're going to approve it.
I can so relate to what you are saying and I have great empathy for you. Have you checked and checked for alternates. I've know three people to include my aunt who did that gluing things and they all failed. I'm not trying to discourage you, but that is one of those things that you only get one chance. If it breaks there's the left over glue which is hard for them to get off the bone. I beg you to get second third, and fourth opinions. No stem cells are not covered by insurance, which I think is a sin, because they do work for the great majority of people. I had my right knee done and the results were amazing. Anyway, please keep me up to date as to what you do. Best of luck and God bless.
Kent Rockwood Tyler It's not actually glue, it just works like a two-part epoxy, in that you have two different compounds in separate syringes that are mixed within the damaged disc. I don't want the disc fusion, as it eventually destroys the discs they're attached to. Spinal laser surgery doesn't accept my insurance, either. So, since I'm allergic to narcotics and cannabis, I just kinda have to deal with it.
Kent Rockwood Tyler Um, no, it's not an epoxy. I just used '2-part epoxy' as an example of how it works. The two compounds can't be mixed before injection into the discs, or, like 2-part epoxy, it will gel before it can be injected. It's 2 compounds that, when mixed, becomes cartilage, not epoxy/plastic/resin. And it's far from available yet.
My sister has MS but no one would know because she appears to be in perfect health. What people don't see is that she's in pain a lot of the time. She would qualify for a handicap tag but is at a point in her life where she doesn't especially NEED it and would rather walk and let someone who does need the spot be able to. As she gets older and her disease consumes more and more of her body, she will in fact need one. It's terrifying to think of my sister being in that state and condition but I'm just thankful for the times I have with her while she's still pretty healthy.
I would suggest she get one to help preserve her remainaing health and avoid any pain or stress. Nobody gives you a browny badge for disabled heroics. Believe me as someone who has had a series chronic illness for 39 years.
So fed up with people abusing these spaces. I have a placard and once I was looking for a spot at Publix and I had to park in the back of the lot while this man and woman (not sure if they are spouses or dating) parked there and had no placard and were clearly not disabled and I mentioned that they were in a handicap parking spot. She said “so what” and went inside. When they came out I was on my phone and they fly past me while she gives me the middle finger and curses at me. I was also on home oxygen at the time. They don’t care. It’s all about them. These two women in this video using her husband’s placard making excuses really pisses me off
I've seen perfectly healthy people park in HC parking jump out of the car and run in to the store while I with a state issued hard handicapped license plate on the back of my car ride around the lot for 20 minuets and have to park in the back of the lot break out my wheel chair just to get in the store it go's to show you that some people just don't care I say put them n my situation and try living the life of a handicapped person for a week and I promise you they would never park in a HC spot again.
Amen to that. Id dearly love to park as far from the store as I could. Everyone who cant walk much at all or not at all should never take walking for granted. They sure as shit never think about that until they cant.
Uncle Buck you’re in a wheelchair, not like your legs will get tired. Idk why you’re driving without legs. Bet you want to tell people how special that you can still drive without legs like that blind guy that uses echo location to jog. I know he does it to get attention
I'm furious about these people abusing the handicap parking system. But I'm equally furious about those people who used the fraud website to post about drivers who "look" healthy or normal. These drivers could have "invisible" illnesses such as cancer or heart problems that make them truly eligible for a handicap placard.
Some people are to quick to judge, handicapped users doesn't mean you are old or in a wheelchair. I may seem like a normal 22 yr old guy but you all dont know my story.
A person supposed to get a placard due to mobility issues caused by heart condition, severe knees, feet. eyes or any other condition limited mobility. Even people with severe asthma get it. Now, doctors are giving to people claiming disability such mental health.
I try not to use disability parking unless I really need it. I have chronic pain due to a degenerative disease in my back. I look very young , so people tend to assume. I'm using someone else's handicap plaquard. I drive a corvette & that seems to increase the dirty looks too. Like I'm not supposed to enjoy a nice car & be handicapped too. Often I walk fine into a store. However, a short duration I start limping. I'm always on the lookout for a chair. Now I rarely leave my home. It's just too damn painful. I wouldn't be parked at a hiking trail either.
Kristi Robare me too. I have a permanent tag based on congestive heart failure diabetes and now I've gotten a heart transplant but I'm 42... And I get lectured all the time because people think I'm using family members spots. Some days are good days and I can walk and then suddenly I can't. I wouldn't go on a hiking trail like that but I've gone through a local hiking place and it kicked my ass. All because I need to get the exercise in. There's all kinds of disabilities and people don't realize that
sk0409 I agree. I had an older man yell at me in my grocery store parking lot. I ended up in tears in the store. The manager saw me & found out what had happened. He got the old man's grocery list, got his items, had him pay, then asked him not to return. The store manager knew I have been through a lot. The manager asked me if he could help me in anyway too. I thought that was so kind of him.
Kristi Robare im so sorry that happened to you as well... That's really nice of the manager. It's sad people don't think beyond what they can see... sometimes the most debilitating conditions is more than just physical
I drive a truck and I park in handicap at my place of business because the parking spaces are so small, now all the Admins are parking their truck in the handicap spots no one really cares. At walmart I park in the very back of the lot and walk in because I have to take up two spaces. Parking sports and roads need to be bigger
I'm in my md 70's, Heart Failure, arthritic lower back and there are days when I can walk for a considerable distance ....on those days I park as far as I can away just so I can get the exercise. Then there are days when I have a difficult time just walking from inside my home to my garage and back without being exhausted. I've been blessed, no cane, no walker and I still do quite well. Thanks to all of you that do adhere to the laws of our land. God Bless!
Lol these people dont want to do extra walking, but they're going HIKING?!
Wtf...
that grandad should apply in the court to swap the grandson's license for a new placard...might just set a precedent!!!
Its CA, everyone is 'above the Law' here in the Golden State!
@Ged Woods yup but disability also can be prove by documents such as card. So, if they face situation like this, just show the card. Problem solve. But not on this video, this show some people try to take advantage. When authority check the disability plaque number, that plaque don't belong to them
@@reynaldneron9012 they are californians, even worse.

That dog looked kinda arrogant with a big ego. They should have given him a ticket.🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐩🐩🐩🐩
He was hiding his face because of that shit "hula skit" schnauzer pattern he has. Wanna be a rich, snobby bitch? Find you a groomer that actually knows how the fuck a proper cut is done.
Me too
He probably had warrants out for his arrest.
So let me get this straight. People wanna park as close as possible to go hiking???
That's what I was wondering.
They're THAT lazy. Trust me, I live next to a park where kids would drive their cars on the grass to a volleyball court, because they were lazy to walk 200 feet; and then the park blocked it off, and the KIDS STOPPED COMING.
It's a gorgeous neighborhood they'd be walking through, too, not a garbage dump or crime alley.
Fabian Pacheco yup ...stupid ..right
Lmao I know right! It's hilarious
I don't look physically disabled, but I deserve to be able to park
in the handicap just as much as any person who is physically disabled.
Same here. On bad days I use the capper parking. On good days I leave the space for someone else.
You're going on a hike yet you can't walk the extra block or two for legal parking
??????
My thoughts exactly!
parking is horrible there. sometimes you have to park half a mile away (still no excuse)
you could tell those have no brain :) didn't even admit or say sorry :)

Would you?
We in Shreveport police investigated ourselves and doing nothing wrong
I have a daughter in a wheelchair and it really bothers me when people do this.
Watched a HEALTHY mom and daughter park in a handicap spot, put the placard on the mirror, exit the vehicle, go shopping, load their packages, get in, pull the placard down and drive off.
Self centered Idiots and entitled!
Makes me want to puke!
Ms. Hill, How often do you personally witness such actions?
Sherry Hill - it bothers me too because I'm disabled and sometimes I have to park far from the store because people are using the spots illegally.
Damien Palladino - I've witnessed this happen quite a bit. I've even confronted a few of the people.
"But my handicapped husband is always with us as we hike these trails." -- His handicap must be the inability to choose a better wife.
Is he now deceased? Are they carrying his ashes with them? A possible 'get out clause'. Makes me so angry how selfish some people are.

I’m 40 handicapped, usually at least a triple every three holes

This should be done more often in all states. Would enjoy more videos of this kind of enforcement. Keep up the great work!
These parking abuses have been happening in Europe for decades now. It will never stop.
I have good and bad days. Sometimes it's apparent other days it's not.
Awww, poor dog. He looked really ashamed of his hooman.
Big time 🤣
If only dogs could pick their owners...
I like how they park in the wheel chair zone, then go out for a hike on foot.
I actually feel sorry for the pooch....
"But he's always with us." LOL is he a guardian angel?
+zombiepi this seriously made me laugh out loud.
Even how she says it with that spacey, air headed tone makes it sound like she's talking about someone who is dead.
Lol! Ya made my day!
That's why when your grandparent dies keep him or her in the trunk. If they're with you they can't give you a ticket.
...funny as a bunch of rats tearing up a sick dog.
It's all about the benefit cheques.
Valet Parking for EVERY handicapped spot? That would be kind of expensive.
My neighbor still has New Mexico plates 10 years later. Much cheaper than California per year.
I'll bet a guy in a wheel chair would love to "run into the store for one minute" if he could.
@Green Giant he was being sarcastic obviously. He said WHEEL CHAIR not POWER MOTOR WHEEL CHAIR. You sound stupid as hell
In britain they tow the car, rather than give a small fine!
Yes, and depending on the driving offense, sometimes they crush the car!!
@Popeye Doyle I take it you are a fan of Trump?

The State does if the offending car is in a handicap spot. But since they weren't, their cars werent towed.

At least the woman didn't blame the dog on that one.
I get looks of all kinds and i'm a wheelchair user!
The easy reply is: "if you really believe that, call a cop and stick around to make the complaint. In the meantime, I have some shopping to do."
I think every drunk driver when caught should have their car smashed. No QUESTIONS ASKED. SMASH IT
I observed a NC State Trooper parked in a handicapped parking space at an Arby's in Boone NC a few years back.

Cops do it ALL THE TIME.
of course
The reality is NOBODY gets a seven hundred dollar sign. They're "admonished" by the court and left to continue thumbing their collective noses at the law and those who NEED the spaces and have a legal right to them. Cop or not nobody but the handicapped take the spaces seriously. Certainly not the law.
FINE---not SIGN.
After 40+ years working in food service i ended up with pinch nerves, degenerative disc disease, bone spurs in back and
neck.
Leaving your behind like that shows you what a true friend you are
Tooooooo funny
That 1K dislike are from those who got caught lol
How about tow the vehicle, fine $10,000 and revoke drivers license. The dislikes are the ones that do it. F^ck them. They are just a$$ holes !

@James Mara Well according to black people being black IS a handicap !!!!!!
IF YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, DOWNLOAD THE "PARKING MOBILITY" APP. You can take a pic through the app & have it automatically sent it to local law enforcement so offender gets mailed a ticket!! Note: read instructions carefully - the pic MUST be taken through the Parking Mobility app (if you just use your phone's camera, it doesn't "count" and they can't be mailed a ticket. )
Read carefully about how to use it; there are 3 specific things that need to be photographed!!!! Be a force for good in the world - dwnld this FREE app! I'm handicapped and really appreciate being able to advocate for justice against these criminals.
no this is just bullshit ordinance. if there is an open spot on a public street anyone should be able to park there.
How old was your mother when she got the surgery ?
mike johnson her first knee surgery I believe she was 42 her second one she was 53
So young was it arthritis.

Then why the hell would they need to handicap sticker on the first place?" The judge apologized to me and my father for the cop wasting our time and his.
i laugh when people get tickets for stealing disabled spots, the fines should be more.

I also laugh at that, although I tend to laugh a lot more when I'm the one who has caused them to be ticketed. :)
+Scooter Ahlers wow why the blacks and gay
I used to work Parking Services at a University. I would ticket people so often in the handicap and fire lanes, any guess who abused it the most? The Universities own maintenance crew.
hi
The people in the med program abuse it the most esp those with disable family member. alway getting the best park at the Uinversity.
of course......there will always be people who will try to beat the system

He has horrible back and butthole pain lmao
I know i shouldn't be laughing but i said butthole heh heh
He should be arrested for having that neck tattoo and having to use his moms car.
When my grandmother was alive and I drove her car around, the only time I would park in a handicapped space was if she was with me. If she wasnt in the vehicle, even though she had a handicap plate, I would park in a regular spot and left the handicapped space for whoever really needed it!
I'm disabled, and this shit drives me nuts. It happens all the time.
How do healthy ppl have no second thought on parking in a space meant for disabled ppl is beyond me.

You certainly didn't owe her, or anyone else an explanation, you should have just ignored her and went on your way.
lol, karma, love it!!!
Hey man...you must be black.
These people should be ashamed of themselves! I am disabled and I would love ❤️ to
Hike these trails. Thank God for your strong bodies!
"You know it's illegal to use somebody else's placard?"
"No, I didn't know that."
Buuullll $π!+
Ok, so when daddy or mommy have something, that entitles them to also use it, carte blanche? What a DOOOOOOOUUUUCHE!
I would be surprised if it didn’t say that on the placard.
So it’s ok to park there because he’s usually always in the car? 😂
The other chicken not only walked across the road, she RAN to get to the other side. I love when egotistical snobs get humiliated! Should have shown their faces close up.
They should have clamped the cars or impounded them.
Standard punishment should be your car gets crushed, removing the driver should be optional.
I'd be first in line to crush them too. :)
Keep your placard WITH you, dummy.
You call someone a peice of shit and then say you'll pray. You must Christian.
Nobody cares Bryce
How about the tattooed young guy making excuses. What a total dickwad
@@HaloNightWanderer, I agree. On top of the fine, they should have to have a leg and arm strapped up for at least a day.
Good for you. If the seller's that dishonest, one has to wonder if there was anything wrong with the car the seller wasn't mentioning.
Boy oh boy how I wish my husband didn't need a handicapped placard, and so does he.Enjoy your health and mobility while you have it because you never know when you'll loose it.
I looked up "douchebag" in the dictionary and found a pic of the guy in the red SUV.
Impound the car, fine them, and suspend their license!
I'd agree with the fine and the impound but not the suspension. I'd also add mandatory community service that deals with handicapped people.
KMAC Radio boom!
Next time show your scarred chest.
This is proof that IMAGE is most important in that area. If u wanted to really exercise you’d walk the extra blocks and not trip. You’re just there for people to see u.
I thought the same thing. Most of them were full clothed. To go hiking on a hot day?
Exactly what I came to say! We have a jogging strip like that here in Madison, WI: by the water, lots of sexy people jogging. People will drive over or take the bus over just to be seen jogging there. Pathetic.
It's like those idiots who truck their Harleys to Sturgis. Image...
Why don't they consider the walk to the park gate as part of the hike? They want to park near the gate to go hiking. It doesn't make sense to me.
RockerRed Or handicap people parking to go hiking lmao
+RockerRed The same reason people will block traffic to wait for a spot close to the gym.
@@NickR27 ?
@@NickR27 Bick, some disabled CAN yuse that park, in wheelchairs, w/walkers, etc, just need help with parking and that extra exertion..
NOW, I understand some elderly people or someone buying something large, might do it, but not the lazy people.
yea,its a crime, but apparently not when a cop does it.
too bad everyones too entertained and fat to care. Otherwise legislators would do stuff.
Nick Reed
Now I just can't believe that. Legislators doing stuff. What a ridiculous idea that is.
***** lol.
You said it brother. Another law comes to mind. People talking or texting while driving. I've seen police break these same laws that they're supposed to enforce.
"I'm borrowing her car." Since I spent all my money on these beautiful tats, no one will hire me and I don't have my own car. MOMMY HELP ME!!
Loser
lolol! he did have a female with him though.
can't get hired cuz of tattoo's??... where do you live, its 2016 tattoos are not tabu anymore, many ppl even in law enforcement have them
you should get out more
Loser.
Thank you for this report. Handicap parking means difference in how long and far I can make it in a store.
I say, give them a $1000.00 fine and have there car or truck towed and let them walk back!
Nice one billy. Im in the trenches with you bro
Oh they towed my Bimmer/Escalade/Cherokee AH-GAIN! Better call an UUU-berrrr.
Billy you arev a Bitch
The fine in Ontario, Canada is $5000.00
It is kind of ironic that these so called hikers need to park as close as possible to the entrance of the hiking trail.
If they have any sort of disability, it must be an intellectual one.
+CNCmachiningisfun How bout a gym I used to go to where members would use the elevator to go up one flight The stairs were quicker . I guess it was too much of a workout for them
John Whiteside
Yeah, it's kind of ironic that they would avoid exercising on the way to their place of exercise.
It's like being lazy while being athletic.
Does not compute!!!
+John Whiteside I would use the elevator when my back was acting up. The motion of going up/down steps was very painful but normal walking was still manageable. Don't be so quick to judge.
CathyGo
I think you are the exception to the rule.
What a jerk
Entitled Californians! 🙄
he does More than this bad behavior and I'm sure has lots of fake reasons. Arrogant guy
When tempted to park in a handicapped spot I remind myself I'm fortunate I'm not allowed to park there.
Lol...her friend took off...she's probably on the most wanted list!!!😂😂😂
Lesbians
she got cake dohhhh
She got warrants...
As a person with two bad knees and walks with the help of a cane, this is awesome to see theses people getting tickets for parking in handicap spots.
I wish they would take this more serious. I’m handicapped.
"Oh Honey, I got your handicap sticker confiscated." I would love to be fly on the wall on that one.
Amazon 421 Thats Crazy!!
States need to start putting a photo of the disabled person on the plaque to make it easier to catch those who abuse the use of the plaques !!!
It's easier to run the tags or ask for the placard permit in your wallet.
The poor dog, knows something ain't right, is caught in the middle, has no concince, has no shame!
Doubt she's loaning it out. Those kind of people are just taking it.
I agree. The way they worded things wasn’t well thought out . People will see this and say it to people everywhere.
Dog is truly man's best friend, the dog stayed with the owner as she was being chewed out
her friend got the hell out of there lol
my dad was a quadriplegic. we used to have to park far away in place where someone could block the ramp for the van.
The funny thing is when they are caught red handed and start to cop attitude. It's like bro they got you man up!!!!!
"I'd gladly walk up to offer them my spot".
Right on.
Not all disabilities are physical.
yeah of course, but when the cops look up the owner of placard it would match the person with a mental illness who's driving.
My friend had a hand amputated from outer appearances he looks normal, someone decided to screech at him * Like the old nosy bastard with his little website here*
Sure he has two full functioning legs but he is missing a hand, regardless someone decided to say he isn't handicapped. He took his hand off and hit them with it.
Again not up to you to decide, he could walk to a normal spot to, do you see how idiotic your argument sounds.
I have seizures and blackouts, I also park close to the store and I too have had people say nothings wrong with me despite having life crippling seizures.
***** Well considering I could fucking die before hitting the door I will park wherever I want you disrespectful sack of shit.
If you're hiking why not hike another block?
+WildFrito My thoughts exactly.
@torontothegood well I mean in ur case u kinda have a right to the space as long as u have the tag since ur dad is actually with you.
People are so stupid and selfish. There's no excuse for parking in a designated handicap spot.
There's especially no excuse for the cops to do that either.
Poor dog...
Lawrence Genereux this is mainly about gaining fees for the court, it's not really about helping anybody
I think it's pretty good punishment cuz now they have to explain to Grandma why there handicap placard got confiscated
If the DRIVER isn't in the car and going to be getting out, it shouldn't be MISUSED. They deserve to lose it and be forced to reapply.
Welp, I'm A Disabled Veteran And Not All Disabilities Are Physical.
Roxanne Moultrie
They may be physical but not obvious; ask me.
I've just heard that in UK they are changing the disability system to include invisible disabilities like mental health.
my aunt is disabled bc of polio when she was a baby and she refuses to get a disabled placard. So crazy to see these people taking advantage of this
I love this!!!!
Kent Rockwood Tyler
It's not actually glue, it just works like a two-part epoxy, in that you have two different compounds in separate syringes that are mixed within the damaged disc. I don't want the disc fusion, as it eventually destroys the discs they're attached to. Spinal laser surgery doesn't accept my insurance, either. So, since I'm allergic to narcotics and cannabis, I just kinda have to deal with it.
Sorry, yeah I knew it was epoxy. Just used the wrong word. I hope it works for you.
Kent Rockwood Tyler
Um, no, it's not an epoxy.
Could you report them? i'd do so
Uncle Buck you’re in a wheelchair, not like your legs will get tired. Idk why you’re driving without legs. Bet you want to tell people how special that you can still drive without legs like that blind guy that uses echo location to jog. I know he does it to get attention
They could of been disabled. Unless they didn’t have the hang tag. But your comment is ignorant.
While that's a reasonable point, why would a cancer patient get a handicap plate?
Melissa Callis I get why this guy did it. He lives in that street and I'm sure it's frustrating at times with car congestion due to placard abuse.
Thank you! I’m 28 with a heart/neurological condition and I get dirty looks all the time because I’m young and not missing any limbs
Byron Langley Or you need to be less of a jerk
I'm in my md 70's, Heart Failure, arthritic lower back and there are days when I can walk for a considerable distance ....on those days I park as far as I can away just so I can get the exercise. Then there are days when I have a difficult time just walking from inside my home to my garage and back without being exhausted. I've been blessed, no cane, no walker and I still do quite well. Thanks to all of you that do adhere to the laws of our land. God Bless!
