I might make a commentary video of the run because I have a ton of things I would like to talk about which will also show what it’s like with a visible KCL version of the track during laps 2 and 3. Funnily enough I used that version of the track during the actual creation of the TAS for the majority of those laps
Absolutely insane that the ultra can be done with no respawn! Would a 3/3 be viable? It seems possible, but also could take too long to setup. Either way, absolutely amazing run!
It depends on who you ask. If you don’t consider speed-building exploits like superhopping and supersliding as game-breaking shortcuts then it would only be Mario Circuit 3 and Moonview Highway. There was an ultra sc on Moonview that was considered faster for a flap but as of now and just recently, Monster found supersliding the entire track to be faster

What's the purpose behind the little wiggle after the lap 3 respawn?
idk how it works but it saves a few ms compared to just driving straight. can also be applied to start boosts and ssmts
