Hey man I’m in the same situation but with a blown head gasket I was just curious if you had any follow up videos on rebuilding the actual engine or did you break down and take it to a machine shop? I’m tempted to just build the whole engine while I have it out but I also want to save money
You just don't really want to risk the engine falling over and crushing your frame. Even though there's studs in the trans and the motor mounts, always better to be safe rather than sorry
Not too many young men pulling engines anymore in their driveways, like the old days, Great Job!!!
hey man, i wanna say thanks for the series. super informative and enjoyable to watch. you gonna document the rebuild too ? i look forward to it
Right On!.. The follow through was perfect.. "Engine is OUT"
Awesome!! Patiently waiting for more updates on this rebuild series!

Our prayers have been answered!!!
Thank you, good sir!
Thanks for putting this up 😊😊😊 yes it is helpful and I plan to pull my engine in the next few weeks 🤞🏾
This was insanely good. Thanks soldier!
So when you jacked up and supported the transmission did you have to loosen the nuts on the transmission mount? Or is it not necessary?
Idk if it’s the same for STI but there is a pin in the gearbox that you need to remove right ? And you didn’t or i skip that part
Awesome series
Love this series, exited to see more

how did you get that out without removing the clutch fork bolt ?
Isn't that specific to the 6 speed?
@@Maakyuhlinsky no mate
So we don't need to remove the clutch fork bolt
@@williamsteinke2850 5 speed has a pull clutch
How did you separate the transmission and the engine? Im having hard time separating them.
BROOOO Show me how to get access to the cyliders
Been a whole year and I’m still waiting for him to remove the piston
I may have missed something, but why do you need to support the engine to remove the last 2 transmission bolts?
