I live in Western Australia and the Australian version is different in a couple of ways. Firstly, as it doesn't snow here, there is no such thing as "winter tyres". We get a little rain but normal tyres are fine. Our version also has electric adjustments for the driver's seat and the passenger seat has a net on the back of it for storage for the rear passengers. So nice video but I have a Kona N and it is essentially the same car and setup. The actual exhaust is in the center of the back and the gases flow from the engine to the center of the exhaust. The driver side or left is always open. The right passenger side will not open until oil temp is about 80 and water is 120 or warming up. When you put the car in sport mode there is a valve on the right side that opens up mostly and lets gases flow shorter and with less restriction, but they still go through the exhaust and out both tail pipes. When you are in full N mode with 3 bars selected on exhaust the valve opens up entirely and it is it's loudest but again coming from both tail pipes. Also, in Ecco it does not come from right side ever which I think you said. If yours is not doing this when warmed up something is wrong, and I would have it checked! Kona N has no rear strut bar and but has a rear armrest, and you cannot get a sunroof unfortunately but in the DCT Elantra you can. No 6 speed in the Kona N either but I am fine with that.
@@n-power-automotive I will and I just replied to your oil change video! You were wise to change it asap. If you have any questions or need help just let me know. I have had several Kia Stinger GT2's and BMW M's as well. I have a piggyback on my Kona making it 300 HP at the wheels. Thanks for the videos as well.
I know who you bought those from lol. The wheels are 21.2 lbs each. I don’t know exactly how much the OEMs weigh, but they’re definitely heavier. I made an entire video on the wheels. If you go to my channel you’ll find it.
Really good! The majority of the roads were plowed, so driving in snow was limited, but FWD with the DWS 06 tires it had no problem going up a hill and I felt little to no slippage. Hoping we get more snow to test it out better.
Reason why exhaust comes out of one pipe or sometime both is because this isn't a true dual exhaust car. Only V6+ cars can be true dual exhaust cars where each bank of headers sends exhaust out the back. In 4 cylinder cars only a single pipe runs out of the header and only splits in the back of the car for aesthetic reasons. This is why you get an uneven exhaust flow at times.
@@n-power-automotive Ahhh probably. Shouldn’t be too difficult though, but doubt it would be worth it to do it on the fly if you want it in there most of the time.

In my Elantra N, N mode activates both exhausts.

My EN also outputs exhaust gases out of both exhausts in N mode.
In fact, normal and eco mode only utilizes the non-valved exhaust.
In N and sport mode, both exhausts are used.
