Cool video! I too am having a blast with Tubi finding so many unknown horror/slasher movies like Party Line, Video Violence, Cutting Class and Bloody Summer Camp lol.
I loved that movie in the 1980’s. I was a young teenager, and watched it on cable late at night. I believe I watched it several times. My favorite scene was the playground merry go round kill.
Night School, it was one dad had on VHS, where I first seen it. Then for years, didn't think about it, it's not one brought up all that much, but funny that you mentioned the shower scene, as I just started thinking about it out of the blue, and upon looking if I could find it anywhere, found it here on TH-cam for sale for a pretty cheap price. And it became one of the really early movies that I bought on TH-cam. But glad to hear that you enjoyed this movie, and also, glad to hear someone talk about it. Like I said, it's not one brought up all that much. Thank you, Lee.
Thanks Lee for finally reviewing this I know I recommend it. I love this slasher flick got this on DVD last year for my birthday. 1981 was a such a great year alright for slashers- Funhouse,Friday the 13th Part 2, Maniac,Halloween 2 & this are my all time favorites from 1981 I think Night school is a under rated gem! Another 80's slasher you gotta review is Slaughterhouse!!
Oh i remember this 80s school slasher movie it had the same atmosphere like other school slasher films at the time Spatter University - Student Bodies - Picies & the Prowler. I totally agree with u Drumdums with your 80's horror reviews keep the good work up😎👍
I saw a couple of 80s movies, or at least close to that year. DEAD OF WINTER, with Mary Steenburgen, & FEAR, starring a young Ally Sheedy and Lauren Hutton.
I loved this one. It was one of the films that feels a bit like an American Giallo. The black helmet all in black biker look is cool. Great chase scene too. Another film that fits into that grimy early 80s vibe similar to 10 to Midnight is Clint Eastwoods Tightrope. I’m sure you know. It’s half cop procedural thriller half sleazy serial killer film with voyeuristic early 80s feel. Something of a minor classic.
@DrumdumsOfficial yess i remember mentioning this movie when u did nightmare beach? the motorcycle helmet kiIIers lol. you have got to see AMSTERDAMNED! featuring another creepy slasher villain in an awesome outfit!
This was directed by the same fellow who made Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Also, the 1974 Giallo What Have They Done to Your Daughters? features some motorcycle killer action.
Thanks Lee! And Dave Vanderhoff for the inspiration. Yes, Nighthawks would be a good one too. I haven't see this one but Leonard Mann (the detective) reminds me of Chris Sarandon.
I saw this one for the first time on the '80s cable channel, Escapade (before it became The Playboy Channel). Loved it, but saw the ending coming a mile away.
Nice Review Mr. Lee I will definitely be adding this to my watchlist I know there are a few movies with a female killer but it always feels rare and taboo to me Especially when it's a early 80's movie
cant beat 70s and 80s for horror/slashers..Its not just nostalgia either. They were art. Rather Jaws, or The Exorcist or Halloween or even B tier movies like this..The film grain. The acting. The characters. The score. Things were so new and they took chances I think.
Motorcycle helmet killer murders women who sleep with her husband and he pays for her crimes, she ends up pregnant walking away scot free. Can you imagine if this was remade today 😂
Sounds like you have a real love for this period and these types of films. I have the Warner Archive Blu-ray. You are right, there is indeed a certain vibe to them. Wasn't it 1981's 'THE PROWLER' where the killer wore like an army camo mask and helmet? IIRC that was a pretty good film. If I may please be annoying (once again... 😊) and suggest maybe you NOT mention who is a 'Red Herring', because that kind of gives away before we see the movie that the guy ISN'T the killer, which I feel is a tad of a Spoiler if the movie is trying to lead us to think so. As it is, you mention TWO different guys as Red Herrings, so now we know before seeing the movie that neither of them is the killer. See what I mean... I kinda stopped watching the video when you mentioned the 2nd guy because I didn't want anything more spoiled. Like I say, I have the Blu-ray, but I haven't watched it yet... 😕 Just a thought, hope you don't mind...
Such a well made slasher. Great review Lee,thanks for the shout out brother....1981 is king🔪
Thank YOU brother!
I love seeing all these 80s movies that slipped through the cracks - please keep reviewing them! I definitely want to check this one out.
These are the most fun to cover.
80’s is easily the best decade for slashers!
Yep
It is
I'm glad that you reviewed this underrated slasher from 80s. I'm still waiting for the review of The Entity (1982). Hope you'll review it soon.
I've always been super curious about The Entity.
The 80's were just a great era in general. Great movies and music. 💛
Indeed Lorrie!
1981 was a crazy good year for slashers
Indeed!
BEST YEAR EVER!!
one of my favorite obscure gems from the 80s. As a giallo enthusiast, I appreciate all the giallo elements.
I was thinking that too! Heavy giallo elements.
Cool video! I too am having a blast with Tubi finding so many unknown horror/slasher movies like Party Line, Video Violence, Cutting Class and Bloody Summer Camp lol.
Yeah man Tubi has been amazing for an 80s fan.
If it's from 1981, you automatically know that it's a banger
Yep.

Yes. The giallo feel is everywhere in this movie.
Had this on vhs as a kid the knife was cool.
Love this movie! Great review!! 👏👏😃👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Joaquin!
Rachel Ward back in the day was gorgeous major kid crush on her
Preach.
Night School never seen it, but I've always heard of it
If you want another helmet wearing killer check out the giallo Strip Nude For Your Killer. It's as sleazy as it sounds but has a good ending.
Oh I love that one. I reviewed it recently. Check it out!
Edwige Fenich
The title alone is woirth checking out! 😅
Good review and cool video Lee!👍
03:05 "Rachel Ward; a big... name"
You're a big name.
He failed to mention that Rachel Ward was in the Thorn Birds, that was a massive hit miniseries on ABC.
I've failed many times. My deepest apologies.
Oops...I gotta dip out at the spoiler. I'm gonna go watch it.
This is an AWESOME MOVIE!!!! Purchase it It is an awesome movie!!!!
I own this one on physical media. It's really good and doesn't get a lot of love. I like movies that take place around college campuses.
Sorority slashers are so fun.
Lovee this movie! the soundtrack is so good
Yes! Great creepy soundtrack.
@DrumdumsOfficial yess i remember mentioning this movie when u did nightmare beach? the motorcycle helmet kiIIers lol. you have got to see AMSTERDAMNED! featuring another creepy slasher villain in an awesome outfit!
I saw this one when I was in high school.
This was directed by the same fellow who made Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Also, the 1974 Giallo What Have They Done to Your Daughters? features some motorcycle killer action.
Interesting.
SHIT YES! Another deep dive, thank you Lee. Love this movie have such a great time with it!
Welcome!
Thanks Lee! And Dave Vanderhoff for the inspiration. Yes, Nighthawks would be a good one too.
I haven't see this one but Leonard Mann (the detective) reminds me of Chris Sarandon.
Yes he does!
mentions Stallone I started thinking about the movie Cobra
Hell yeah Cobra is a slasher.
Love your content man! Keep it up! 🎉
Thank you so much!
I saw this one for the first time on the '80s cable channel, Escapade (before it became The Playboy Channel). Loved it, but saw the ending coming a mile away.
Yeah the ending was predictable, but still fun.
Solid movie. 👍🏼
10 to midnight & Nightmare Beach 🤘🖤
Both are great.
loVE THIS ONE, ESP THE MERRY GO ROUND KILL
I was surprised on who was the killer was the first time I saw Night School 🏫. 😀👍
Yeah me too!
Sharkey's machine! Rachel Ward was beautiful. She married Bryan Brown who was in The Thorn Birds with her. They are still together
I figured she did a lot of TV back in the day.
Loved this movie…..just needed a couple more kills to make it a classic.
Yep. KIlls were a bit redundant.
Nice Review
Mr. Lee
I will definitely be adding this to my watchlist
I know there are a few movies with a female killer but it always feels rare and taboo to me

Thank you Polly!
1981... YES... NEVER EVER will there b a greater yr of cinema 📽️.... period....

Couldn't agree more Mikie!
i love this movie the only doen side of it is the absence of gore
Agreed.
Want more motorcycle helmet horror? (At least I remember it being a motorcycle helmet, could be wrong...) Check out the Nail Gun Massacre 😂
Ooh thanks for the recommendation Brian!
You ever see the movie I think it's called slaughterhouse
No but I think I own it.
Motorcycle helmet killer murders women who sleep with her husband and he pays for her crimes, she ends up pregnant walking away scot free. Can you imagine if this was remade today 😂
It's a pretty wild ending haha.

Yes the Prowler is such a classic!
@@DrumdumsOfficial ...annnnnnnnd no thoughts about perhaps about not mentioning 'Red Herrings' in your reviews...? 😁
Hey man you never responded to. My comment when I named the movie on your last video any idea?
Dude....I have no idea what you're talking about. Send me a dm on X or Twitter.
@DrumdumsOfficial it's okay I'm sorry
It kind of bored me night school
Oh not me. Loved it.
