I'm glad to hear that Tom and Andrew talk about pot and how insane it's become over the last decade or so. The panic attacks, etc. I'm just like Andrew where I'll smoke a little bit of pot at the night occasionally. I'm an insomniac, and getting a little high before I go to bed results in the most wonderful sleep, takes no time at all for me to fall asleep. I'm just glad to hear that I'm not the only one who misses the good old days where me and my buddies could smoke endless amounts of joints, blunts, bong bowls, etc. and get crazy high, but would never freak out or have a bad time. After taking two years off of pot, and then starting back up again in 2019, 2020 was INSANE. Pot is so absurdly strong now that me, (A guy who smoked every single day, and could easily smoke everyone else under the table) I gotta take like ONE HIT and give it some time to see how I feel, and then if I don't feel extremely uncomfortable after that, I might take one or two more hits but on average that's it. That's all I can do. I take Benzodiazepines as needed for anxiety and I almost always have to take a couple milligrams of Xanax after smoking just a couple hits. It depends on the type of pot, but I can't fucking handle Sativas, I usually do fine with Indicas but even after taking one hit sometimes, I'll start nodding off like I'm on Heroin or something. Everything I smoke is medical grade and just way too fucking strong. I feel like a total pussy having grown up being the guy who would literally never stop smoking, but I just can't fuckin' do that anymore. I'll always love cannabis, but goddamn, it's a completely different situation now. -

He really is. For me, it's his personality that is just so chill despite his incredible success. Many years ago I saw the first special they put on netflix. I was so blown away that I looked him up on FB and posted on his wall (cringing so hard because I am not that person). He really stood out even then and I just wanted to support him. I didn't discover the YMH world until much later but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles.

I still can’t get into his stand up but I’m rooting for him. I like him on the podcasts. I’m hoping he’s like bill burr where he suddenly finds his comedic voice and starts crushing it.
